Check Out How This Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Essential Looks On-Feet

NIKE AIR MAX 1 1 NIKE AIR MAX 1 2 NIKE AIR MAX 1 3

For those of you that just can’t get enough of the Air Max 1, here’s a new pair for the 2016 holiday season.

Presented above is one of the Air Max 1s, but what makes them better than an ordinary pair is that they’re of the Ultra Essential variety. This means that they use better materials on the upper and also have a carved out outsole that makes them more lightweight and comfortable. This colorway features a Light Bone upper with hits of blue, black and yellow on the mudguard, branding and inner liner.

You can expect this Air Max 1 to arrive at select Nike retailers real soon. In the meantime let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Author’s Take

I’m a fan of the Air Max 1, but this colorway doesn’t really catch my attention. I don’t think the colors mesh well together.

Celebrate Day Of The Dead With This Nike Air Huarache Sock

NIKE AIR HUARACHE SOCK 1 NIKE AIR HUARACHE SOCK 2 NIKE AIR HUARACHE SOCK 3 NIKE AIR HUARACHE SOCK 4

Wait, what’s this? A Huarache? This doesn’t really look like a Huarache though. It turns out this is the Nike Air Huarache Sock and it is very limited.

Created by Mexican sneaker designer Christian Nahual, this modified version of the Air Huarache pays homage to the “Day of The Dead” holiday and features a Triple Black leather upper with skeleton graphics on the tongue and sockliner. People who purchase a pair can get their name engraved on the left heelcap. Nahual also created the forthcoming pair to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the SN Dunk Low Day of The Dead.

Only 30 units will be made available worldwide. Take a look at the photos above and expect a release in the coming weeks at select stockists.

Author’s Take

I like the Day of the Dead theme, but not a fan of the “sock” look. I would have preferred this be the original low top Huarache instead.

A brand new colorway of the Nike SB Koston 2 Max recently dropped, and this time around it comes in a Summit White offset by hits of University Red.

This Air Max version of the Koston 2 is constructed out of a White mesh upper supported by the exposed Flywire cables done in University Red. Additional hits of Red can be seen on the Air Max unit and branding on the tongue and heel. Small hits of Grey are also utilized on the heel, Nike Swoosh and lining. Below you will find a rubber herringbone outsole to completes the main parts of the shoe. Priced at $110, find these today at select retailers.

Author’s Take

It’s hard to see these as an SB sneaker being that it comes with an Air Max sole and Flywire cables. My how the times have changed.

Although we still don’t know the release date of the shoe or even if these will ever release to the public, we still thought you’d like to take a look at the latest images of the Comme des Garçons x Nike Air Force 1 Low Emoji Pack collab.

Opting to go for a very minimal look and feel, the Emoji Pack consists of two tonal versions of the Nike Air Force 1 Low. One comes in White, while the other comes in Black. Constructed out of leather, the only major difference/collaborative feel I am able to notice on the shoe is the forefoot strops covered in Comme des Garçons’ heart with eyes done in an Emoji motif. As far as the rest of the shoe goes, tonal hits take care of the branding as well as the sole unit and lining. Like I said, no release or price info, but we’re hoping we get that for you asap.

Author’s Take

Nah, man. If this is really collab, it?s not very creative, at all.

Nike Foamdomes Are Back This Winter Season

The Nike Air Foamposite is celebrating its 20th Anniversary next year, as Eric Avar’s iconically futuristic silhouette will be returning in a number of original colorways to appease traditionalists and an entirely new generation of sneakerheads alike. Unsurprisingly, that also means that the winterized version of the Penny Hardaway classic, the Nike Foamdome will be returning to store shelves to help you survive the slush and snow lingering ahead.

The Nike Foamdome Eggplant is the first colorway to appear featuring that bolstered Air Max midsole and rugged outsole unit with additional leather panels on the toe, tongue, and ankle collar. Of course, there’s no ‘1 Cent’ logo found here. Instead, it’s just a 90s ‘Air’ capsule logo on the tongue for a more generic finish. Are you excited about the return of the always durable Nike Air Max Foamdome? Check out more detailed shots and stay tuned for a Release Date in the coming days right here on Sneaker News.
