Suede Graces The Uppers Of The Nike Air Max TR 17

Want more flavors of the Nike Air Max TR 17? Say no more. What you see above are not only two different colorways of the model, but they also comes dressed using different materials.

The Nike Air Max TR 17 comes in your choice of Navy and Grey. Both options rock a tonal look on the upper, which consists of a neoprene sock, a suede upper and the distinct woven paneling. Tonal laces and a gum sole unit placed right below the Air Max bubble unit complete the look of the shoe. No word yet on when these will be dropping, but when they do expect them to do for $180. Are you a fan of switching out the leather upper in favor of suede? I think it looks pretty clean, especially the Navy pair.

Allen Iverson Says His Electricity Got Shut Off After His Mother Bought Him Nikes

Complex finally got NBA legend and style icon Allen Iverson to talk his signature line during the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping with Joe La Puma at Philadelphia’s own Lapstone & Hammer. Iverson told the story of owning his favorite pair of shoes when he first started playing AAU basketball. His mom bought him a pair of the Nike Air Revolution in a size 8.5 even though a young AI wore a size 7. That didn’t slow him down though. What did was upon returning from the game, his electricity had been shut off because his mom couldn’t afford to make payments after buying him his favorite sneaker. Allen also talks his favorite Jordan retros while in college, opponents wearing his signature model, and more. Watch the full video below and stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.

nike-kd-9-elite-golden-state-warriors-playoffs-pe-01

Welcome back, KD. Kevin Durant has missed the past 19 games due to an MCL strain, but that didn’t stop the Warriors from rattling off a league best 13-game win streak in his absence. Now that the Dubs are back to full strength just in time for the playoffs, things are about to get downright hopeless for their competition out west. Nike Basketball welcomed back KD last night during the Warriors’ 123-101 win over the New Orleans Pelicans with this new Nike KD 9 Elite Welcome Back PE. The latest KD 9 Elite PE features an all royal upper with speckles of yellow thrown into the Flyknit base. A unique gradient Zoom midsole covers the inside components for a vibrant finish.
