Nike Is Bringing Back The Air Force 1 Low Easter

The mid-2000s era of shiny, patent leather Air Force 1s is making a minor comeback of sorts. This Monday, a day after Easter Sunday, Nike Sportswear is bringing back the Air Force 1 Low “Easter” that originally released in 2005. Featuring soft pastel tones in patent leather and a cracked egg featured on the custom tongue, the Air Force 1 Low “Easter” was one of the more sought-after sneakers of ’05 – so much so that Nike spawned a sequel with slightly different colors in 2006.

Color-blocking trends have shifted immensely to tonal, neutral colors, so there’s no questioning the sneaker’s ability to stand out. Cop your pair on April 17th at select Nike Sportswear retailers and check our sneaker release dates page to see what other Easter-themed shoes are dropping alongside these.

For all you hoopers out there, we’re happy to share with you a first look of the upcoming Nike LeBron Zoom Solider 11. Said to be releasing sometime in June, could LeBron end up wearing this during this year’s Championship run?

Standout features on the Nike LeBron Zoom Solider 11 include a slip-on laceless upper constructed out of a ventilated mesh. The lacing system consists of four straps and the heel counter appears to be influenced by the Nike LeBron Zoom Solider 9. This particular colorway comes in a White upper, a Black midsole, Metallic Gold Swoosh branding on the midsole and an icy translucent outsole. No retail price or release date just yet, but we’re pretty certain both will be announce in the next month or so.

The Nike Air Sock Racer Ultra Flyknit Is Officially Unveiled

We’ve seen the Nike Air Sock Racer Ultra Flyknit a couple of times over the last week or so, but this is the first time Nike officially unveils the brand new updated model to the public. Let’s see what this revamped version of the Nike Air Sock Racer is all about.

The Nike Air Sock Racer was designed as a marathon sneaker was back in 1986. More than 30 years later Nike has decided to bring it back with a couple of major upgrades. The Nike Air Sock Racer Ultra Flyknit comes with a Flyknit upper that instantly makes it more breathable while also providing a better overall fit. Keeping some of the shoes OG aesthetics, Nike decides to preserve the model’s original buckle closure with a slight change in width (they’re now thicker) this time around. The final upgrade is the sole which comes with a Nike Free pattern on the sides, top-loaded air in the heel and of course and Ultra (lighter/cored out) construction. The debuting colorways has the Nike Air Sock Racer Ultra Flyknit come in Yellow and Black and Grey and Black. Expect both to drop on April 27th.

The Nike Air Shake NDESTRUKT Celebrates Easter

Back on the shelves after a long-awaited return, the Nike Air Shake Ndestrukt is one of the brand’s most notable retro releases of 2017 so far. Along with the return of Dennis Rodman’s memorable shoe from 1996 in original colorways will be at least one all-new look: this light blue version as part of an Easter pack from Nike Sportswear. What does the bold asymmetrical models have to do with Easter? Absolutely nothing, but that hasn’t stopped Nike from giving it the light blue textile and patent leather colorway that many might agree seems like a questionable fit on the silhouette.

If an Easter edition of the Air Shake Ndestrukt does happen to be something you’ve always wanted, you can find a pair soon along with accompanying pastel versions of the Air Cruz, Air Force 1 High, and Air Force 1 Low at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Sneakersnstuff.

This Nike LeBron 14 Is Inspired By Bricks

A LeBron 14 inspired by bricks? It doesn’t seem like an ideal inspiration to land on a signature model, especially when LeBron is shooting a career worst from the charity stripe at a 67% clip, but missed shots aren’t the actual motif behind this University Red LeBron 14 pair. Instead, the Nike LeBron 14 Red Brick Road is inspired by LBJ’s hometown gym where his basketball odyssey started. The inner tongue lining features the ‘Just A Kid From Akron’ callout while vibrant red is contrasted by black hints throughout to honor the long road to becoming one of the game’s greats. Grab your pair this Saturday, April 15th for $175 USD. Check out more detailed shots of the LeBron 14 Red Brick Road below and stay tuned for more Release Dates right here on Sneaker News.

It’s playoff time, which means we’re about to see LeBron break out his signature Soldier series for his quest to make his seventh straight NBA Finals.
