Quietly making their debut this past week are these three new colorways of the NikeLab Air Force 1 Low Jewel. Rocking a premium construction in colors ideal for the warmer months, it’s kind of surprising Nike didn’t advertise these a bit more than they did, right?

Coming in your choice of Mushroom, Silt Red or Sail, each iteration of the shoe comes dressed in a premium leather upper paired up with tonal hits by way of the laces, lining and heel tab. Distinct features on the shoe include the jewel Swoosh, the leather lining and the classic perforated hits on the toe box. About one year ago today, Kobe Bryant played his final game in the NBA. The Black Mamba has moved on from the game he loves, or has he? We just got word that Kobe Bryant is back in the game, but it’s not what you expect.

Kobe has teamed up with Nike to create what is knows as the Mamba League. What exactly is the Mamba League? It’s a basketball program made exclusively for the inner city youth ages 8-10 in Los Angeles.

He may be from Philadelphia but Lakers legend Kobe Bryant continues to give back to his adopted hometown of Los Angeles.

?The Mamba League is a fun league,? Bryant says. ?It?s to learn the game, have fun and also to understand the connection the game has with life in general. And to convert that into being a better son, a better daughter, a better student.?

Kobe’s decision to create the Mamba League promises to be a breath of fresh air as it’s main focus is on the technical aspect of the game

Per Bleacher Report?s Andrew Gould:

The Mamba League will instruct boys and girls aged 8-to-10 using a lower hoop, which the former Los Angeles Lakers star said will help them focus on technique and build confidence.
