Official Images Of The Nike Air Max 95 Metallic Gold

The Nike Air Max 97 “Metallic Gold” is near the top of our list of must-haves for May 2017 and we already know that similar to the “Silver Bullet” Retro Collection, this pair will be accompanied by a number of other retro running models featuring a similar colorway. There’s a women’s exclusive Nike Air Max Plus and Nike Air Max Jewell as well as this upcoming Nike Air Max 95, each slated to release on May 18th. The Nike Air Max 95 “Metallic Gold” features the side panel waves in a head-turning sheen of 24k opulence to match the mesh upper but interestingly enough skips out on Varsity Red for the ankle Swoosh for a simple Black outline. The All-New NikeLab City Knife 3 Flyknit Releases Next Week

Originally inspired by the foldable design of a paper bag, the first Nike City Knife shoe, released in 2002, had similarly foldable creases for flattened packability. Before it came the Pocket Knife, from 1998, a collapsible ACG shoe embraced by outdoor athletes.

Today, the new NikeLab City Knife 3 Flyknit draws from the versatility of both models, providing a breathable, sock-like fit through a one-piece, 360 Flyknit upper that’s encapsulated in a translucent rubber outsole (sharp lines on the outsole reference the geometry of the original). A rubber strap keeps the foot locked down. The shoe’s minimal design ? made of only five pieces without any stitching ? enables it to flatten easily.

The NikeLab City Knife 3 Flyknit will be available in three different colorway on May 11th in women’s sizing via selecr NikeLab location and nike.com. The shoes will come with a special travel bag.

Best Look Yet At The Nike LeBron Soldier 11

LeBron James has been dominant in the Eastern Conference Playoffs for the past 7 seasons and he continues to flex his muscles against the Toronto Raptors yet again. LeBron broke out a PE version of his highly anticipated Nike LeBron Soldier 11 earlier in this postseason (you can see the player exclusive pair here in more detail) and today we get a look at that White/Metallic Gold-Black colorway in greater detail. The LeBron Soldier 11 adds a fourth lockdown strap to the high-top laceless slip-on design while a Zoom-infused midsole unit is hit with contrast speckles to coincide with a premium Metallic Gold Swoosh on the heel shank. An icy blue outsole displays bold ‘LJ’ branding with his signature King’s crown while a triangular grid structure maximizes grip. An initial box photo displays a suggested retail price of $130, a $10 price decrease from last year’s Soldier 10 model. It’s also worth noting that there’s a Nike LeBron Soldier 11 “Strive For Greatness” colorway with a May 31st release date, so stay tuned to see if that’s this pair or not in the near future right here on Sneaker News.

The Nike Air Vortex From 1985 Is Returning

Fans of Nike’s vintage 1980s runners have something to get excited about, because the Air Vortex is back. One of the three models from the mid-80’s V-Series (also including the Vector and Vengeance), the Vortex may look simple now, but at its time it was one of the most teched-out runners on the market, featuring a mix of nylon and suede on the upper with reflective hits all above an Air-cushioned sole. Designed as the perfect everyday trainer combining a lightweight upper with a supportive sole, the Vortex returns to retail for the first time in years this summer for a lifestyle option, releasing in your choice of three OG-inspired looks of navy/white, black/grey, and red/white. Expect all three to arrive at select Nike Sportswear accounts and Nike.com soon.

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro Island Green To Release This July

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro isn’t slowing down anytime soon, as this new “Island Green” colorway is set to release this July. The Nike Foamposite Pro Island Green is fairly similar to the Foamposite Pro “Retro Blue” colorway that dropped back in 2011 and had people adding pink laces to the ensemble back when that South Beach colorway was so popular. The most notable difference is the side panel Swoosh update with a head-turning Metallic Platinum adding a chrome mirror-like finish while an icy outsole adds a clean finish.
Stay tuned for a Release Date in the near future right here on Sneaker News.

Detailed Look At The Nike VaporMax Violet Dust

Most Nike VaporMax colorways either already released or previewed so far have been in grey or blue color palettes, but this women’s colorway switches things up with a pleasing shade of purple. The “Violet Dust” VaporMax can finally be previewed in detail with its official Nike images, and by the looks of things, it should be the most anticipated women’s colorway of the innovative shoe yet thanks to the calming light violet hue from top to the tinted full-length Air bags. If you’re after pair, mark their June 1st release date (along with the rest of the “Day to Night” pack) on your calendar, because they surely won’t be available long after they drop.
