Nike broke some serious ground this past weekend in Monza, Italy as Eliud Kipchoge ran in insane 2:00:25 26.2-mile marathon, a mere 25 seconds away from breaking the two-hour mark. As part of this journey, Nike outfitted Kipchoge as well as Zersenay Tadese and Lelisa Desisa with the new Nike ZoomX VaporFly Elite footwear, which features the brand new ZoomX cushion technology (you can see the innovation breakdown here). Those shoes will never release to the public, but Nike does plan on releasing the ZoomX VaporFly 4% on June 8th in the “Ice Blue” launch colorway as well as a white/black colorway.

The shoes are currently listed on Nike’s global portals for ?1,899 and 200 GBP, which places the USD MSRP at approximately $275.

Mountain Dew makes more than just soda. What you see above is one of the 32 kits of the Nike Kyrie 3 K.A.R.E. Kit. This special edition sneaker set was inspired by Kyrie’s ability to break his opponents ankles. Let’s take a closer look.

The Nike Kyrie 3 K.A.R.E. Kit (Kyrie?s Ankle Recovery Equipment) is more than just shoes. Aside from the White and Lime Green Kyrie 3, the kit also comes with iPad preloaded with some of Kyrie’s best highlights on the court, a first aid kit, five limited edition cans of Mountain Dew dedicated to Kyrie, an autographed X-Ray of a broken ankle and an emergency phone. As mentioned above, only 32 kits were created and none of them will be sold at retail. No word on how to get a pair yet, but our bet is that it’s a Friends and Family release.

In case you forgot or weren’t aware, Nike will be releasing the Air Presto Safari Pack tomorrow which will include the colorway that we see above which is sure to be one of the most popular pairs from the bunch.

This Air Presto features a White neoprene and mesh upper with University Red detailing on the inner liner and the Swoosh logo on the midsole. Grey can be seen on the Swoosh on the toe as well as on the TPU cage and toe cap, which have been covered in black safari print. You can pick up your pair beginning tomorrow (May 11th) for $140.
