An On-Feet Look At The Nike Classic Cortez Dark Team Red

The Cortez is alive and well. The Swoosh is celebrating the model’s 45th anniversary this year and by doing so they have released a handful of special edition colorways, collabs and versions of the shoe. What’s next, how about this simple and clean Nike Classic Cortez Dark Team Red.

Already available internationally, this version of the Cortez comes dressed in a Dark Team Red upper constructed out of a traditional nylon and suede combination. Creating contrast on the upper is the use of White on the Swoosh branding, heel, and tongue tag. The midsole also comes in White, while the Black hits noted on the tongue branding and stripe (on midsole) finish of the shoe’s most notable traits. We’re unsure if these will arrive stateside, but if they do we will be sure to let you know.
