Gold Detailing Highlights The Nike Cortez Glitter Pack

Nike has taken the Cortez silhouette and created a new pack exclusively for women with a punch of color.

Known as the Nike WMNS Cortez Glitter Pack, the classic sneaker has been covered in a leather upper in three different colorways of white, black, and the same Arctic Orange hue that was just seen on the Just Don x Air Jordan 2. The defining feature on all three pairs is the addition of gold on the fat Swoosh logo and the Nike branding on the tongue. All three pairs are then finished off with contrasting white sole units.

Check Out The Nike SB Dunk High In Violet Dust

Up next for the Nike SB Dunk High is this brand new Violet Dust colorway. Already available internationally, it’s only a matter of time before these drop stateside.

The Nike SB Dunk High comes in a predominantly suede construction done in the aforementioned Violet colorway. Complimenting the suede quite nicely is the White hits of leather noted on the Swoosh branding on the side panels. Tonal laces, additional White branding on the tongue and the all-White sole unite complete the look of the shoe. Thoughts on this new Nike SB Dunk High? Expect these to get a stateside release in the near future.

Nike Celebrates 45th Anniversary Of Cortez With Tribute To Long Beach County

There’s no sneaker in history that represents a specific region so rigidly like the Cortez does with Los Angeles. This classic running shoe has become synonymous with LA gang culture for decades, and this upcoming release for the shoe’s 45th Anniversary may be an indirect homage to the Crips, the Los Angeles-based gang known for its signature blue colors. This “Long Beach County” version features special “LBC” embroidering on the heel with special insoles that commemorate the 45th Anniversary, which only suggests a much larger celebration of the shoe this Summer.

Expect the Nike Cortez XLV “Long Beach County” to release on Nike.com on June 1st.

Nike KD 10 Oreo

Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors erased a 25 point deficit in the 2nd half and ended up stealing Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals against the Spurs at home Sunday afternoon. Durant even managed to put up another 30-point game in his upcoming signature model, the Nike KD 10 in an “Anniversary” colorway with a multi-colored Swoosh that pays homage to all of the different uniforms KD has worn over the years from college to the pros. You can check out official detailed images of the KD 10 after getting a look at this upcoming Nike KD 10 Oreo colorway slated to release later this summer. The KD 10 Oreo is a standard combination of black and white Flyknit throughout the mid-top upper while that unique lacing system is somewhat camouflaged thanks to a matching speckling on the laces. The Zoom Air midsole unit returns once again on this model and manages to keep things clean thanks to a simple all-white look. Expect this colorway to arrive in the near future and stay updated on a coming Release Date right here on Sneaker News.

Multicolor Detailing Hits This Nike Air Force 1

The Nike KD 10 Is Officially Unveiled

After countless leaked looks, Nike has finally officially unveiled the Nike KD 10 as it is scheduled to make its debut later this month.

Nike describes the Flyknit construction on the KD 10 as the best yet on a basketball shoe ? engineered precisely for flexibility, breathability and support just where needed.

?I got a pair of the Flyknit Racer during the 2012 games in London and immediately loved them. That shoe is so stylish, so innovative and so comfortable. I?ve been asking for Flyknit in my shoe and the KD10 is my best shoe yet,? says Durant.

Flyknit advancements allow designer Leo Chang and his Flyknit engineers to create the most advanced Flyknit ever produced for basketball; a tour de force of the technological capacity mixing low stretch, high-tenacity (think seat belt) yarn at stress points and a high stretch yarn at the collar and across the forefoot. This blend yields a perfect balance of basketball-specific support and a sock-like hug.

The unconventional lacing system is designed to keep the foot snugly supported to the midsole. On the underfoot lies the full-length Nike Zoom Air unit debuted in the KD9, enhanced for durability and tuned for maximum impact cushioning. It?s taken on the reputation as Nike?s best basketball air bag.

The Nike KD 10 will makes its debut on May 26th in the Anniversary colorway that is done in a faint blue, with a Swoosh featuring intermixed team colors from Durant?s teams since college that include the UT Longhorns, Seattle Sonics, OKC Thunder, and Golden State Warriors. This mélange, bespoke Swoosh celebrating a 10-year anniversary is a first for Nike. Next up we’ll see the Still KD (white) colorway drop on June 1st.
