Perforations can then be seen on the tongue, side panels, and around the ankle. One unique feature about the Kobe 2 is the inner bootie that hugs your foot once you put on the shoe.

Author’s Take

The Kobe 2 features uses one of the best colors our of the entire collection but I’m just not a huge fan of the silhouette. I would have preferred to see this shade of white/grey on another shoe.

A New Nike Kyrie 2 Colorway Has Surfaced

The Nike Kyrie 2 colorways keep coming and coming. This weekend you will be able to pick up the Nike Kyrie 2 Easter, but we recently came across a brand new colorway that we know nothing about. Let’s take a first look at the shoe.

This version of the Kyrie 2 will come dressed in several shades of grey taking care of the majority of the upper. Contrasting the tonal look of the shoe is are the blue hits placed on the branding seen on the tongue and outsole of the shoe. A white outsole is also visible on the first image of the shoe. No word on the name, theme or inspiration behind this colorway but as we find out we will be sure to let you know.

Author’s Take

I wish it had a little more blue on the upper aside from the branding hits. It is what it is though. Solid colorway but nothing I’d go crazy over.

Nike To Released An Air Max 90 With Pendleton Materials

Portland-based Pendleton has always benefited from their close proximity to Nike headquarters, as the famous wool manufacturing company has seen its bolstered material land on winterized NIKEiD offerings in the past quite frequently. This Nike Air Max 90 collaboration doesn’t look to be a customizable option though, as the premium wool material contrasts with a Vachetta leather interior while an array of traditional Pendleton patterns hit the mudguard. What do you think of the look? No release info is available yet, but check out official images below and we’ll keep you updated in regards to this AM90 Quickstrike in the near future.

You Might Not Like What Nike Did To The Air Max 95

The Nike Air Max 95 isn’t new to being subject to weird transformations. We’ve seen the zippered “Zen” version and even the knee-high boot version called the Zen Venti, but at least those maintained the signature gradient upper that made the shoes so famous. This upcoming release, called the Air Max 95 Empire, takes on the signature Max Air midsole and attached a weird boot-like design that features open vents and Huarache-like gaping holes on the upper. They look nothing like the 95 at all with the exception of the toe-box, and we are aware that these aren’t intended for the purists. These will likely be at NikeLab locations, so stay tuned for release info.

Colored Straps Are Coming To The Nike Sock Dart

Sock Dart fans have plenty to look forward to this summer, as Nike continues the resurgence of the futuristic silhouette in new colorways and constructions. As you could see from our Sock Dart preview back in February, colored straps (usually clear) are going to become commonplace with colorways like this one we get  better look at today in Racer Blue. The tonal blue upper sees white accents and speckles on the midsole for good measure, making for what should be a colorway that won’t sit on the shelves for long. Expect the “Racer Blue” Sock Dart at select Nike Sportswear retailers soon.

The OG Nike Air Max Zero Is Releasing On Air Max Day

This Air Max Day 2016 will bring us two Nike Air Max Zero releases. That’s right, the OG colorway featuring a “Rift Blue” palette is slated to hit retailers on Air Max Day – that’s March 26th, 2016 – alongside the new vibrant yellow rendition to help those of you that missed out on the offering last year. Once only a Tinker Hatfield sketch during the design phase of the Air Max 1 during the late-80s, Nike Sportswear shocked everyone with the introduction of the “new” model last year. A slip-on construction features a traditional AM1 outsole while a seamless upper is accented with fuse and tape supportive overlays. Be sure to check out a better view of the original Zeroes below and let us know if you plan on picking up the pair in the not so distant future by taking your thoughts to our comments section.

Nike Is Releasing A Pinnacle Running Collection, Including The Air Max 90 And More

Not to be confused with the ‘Pinnacle’ Air Jordans, Nike Sportswear brings some premium constructions to some classic running silhouettes this spring just for the ladies. Not quite as luxurious, and definitely not coming with price tags over $100 from the normal price of each model like the Jordans, the Air Max 90, Air Max Thea, and Pre Montreal Racer all receive stylish tonal colorways in Light Bone or black, each constructed in soft premium leather. The Pinnacle runners are arriving now at international Nike Sportswear retailers, and should hit the US soon.

A Detailed Look At The Nike Kobe Black Mamba Pack Pre Championship Years

From 2000 to 2002, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers won three straight NBA Championships – all while wearing adidas. The Nike era of Kobe’s shoe career began in 2003 and the individual and team success didn’t quite follow; despite being a perennial contender, the Lakers were a shell of their former near-dynasty self, and Kobe shouldered some of the blame – even if he was getting better and better every year. It wasn’t until 2006 that Nike issued the Black Mamba his first signature shoe; those three models at the time weren’t quite the widespread hits (despite the 1 and 2 getting the most love from the Prelude Pack), but it set the table for Eric Avar to step in and usher in the low-top Kobe era that we all have come to love today. While Bryant didn’t win any rings during the span of the first three signature shoes, there was the of course the 81 point game, his first MVP trophy, and his first trip to the NBA Finals since 2004. Over the course of the next week, Nike will release the Kobe 1, 2, and 3 from the Black Mamba Collection, so enjoy a detailed look here and stay tuned for the official release of the Kobe 1 tomorrow.

Nike Flyknit Air Force 1 Nike Flyknit Air Force 1 1 Nike Flyknit Air Force 1 2

The modernized Nike Flyknit Air Force 1 receives its latest colorway, with this particular finish specifically inclined just for the ladies.

Sporting an Easter-like theme with varying pastel tones across its intricately woven upper, the breathable component is essentially shaded in radiant emerald, alongside touches of green, pink and more to create a subtle, yet eye-catching profile.

To perfectly complement the theme, white is utilized for the remainder of its composition, particularly the leather Swooshes, flywire system, laces, tongue, inner lining, heel tab and revamped sole unit with a translucent outsole.

You can find this latest pair at select Nike retailers overseas first, while a stateside release is imminent.

I’m a big fan of this revamped design. Even though it’s listed for women, I think it’s versatile enough for men as well. It does coordinate well with the upcoming holiday.

Author’s Take

I’m a fan of the silhouette in general. I’m over bright tones, but this execution is pretty solid. The predominantly white finish makes it more appealing in my view.

A Summer-Appropriate Nike Air Icarus

Nike Air Icarus 1 Nike Air Icarus Nike Air Icarus 2

With this year marking the 25th anniversary of the Nike Air Icarus, it only seems right that the retro silhouette is set to receive a variety of colorways throughout the seasons.

Following its original crimson finish this past January, the classic 90’s sneaker is treated in another warm weather-appropriate palette with cherry consisting as the focal point. Specifically prominent on the collar and rear, the majority of the model’s profile is dipped in white to perfectly complement the theme.

Additionally, purple accents are located on the tongue label and Swoosh branding. All resting atop a matching clean white midsole unit and black/cherry outsole, you can find this pair at select Nike accounts overseas now.

Author’s Take

I have a soft spot for retro runners. The aesthetic of this design is pretty appealing, but this colorway really wins it for me. It’s perfect for both males and females too.
