Everyone who I know that I owns a pair of Kobe 8s always talks about how comfortable they are. I’ve never tried on a pair personally but if it has lunarlon cushioning I can already imagine. When I see this colorway this is all I can think of though.

Up next in the Nike Kobe Black Mamba Pack is the Nike Kobe 9 which represent a new drastic change for the Kobe line. This was the first Kobe sneaker that utilized a Flyknit upper which seems to be the norm with many shoes these days. (See KD 9)

Nike decided to release the Kobe 9 as an Elite High version that features the crazy extended ankle that many people either love or hate. Other versions include an Elite Low (Flyknit) and an engineered mesh low option. The shoe features a full Anthracite color scheme and of course a Flyknit upper. At first most people were skeptical about the Kobe 9 but when many basketball players began wearing it on court and people actually tried them on their opinion completely changed.

This colorway reminds me a lot of the Detail colorway that featured a combination of light and dark grey throughout the upper. This Black Mamba colorway isn’t that bad but it’s also one that I think people may pass on.

While switching from grey to black Nike thought it was a good idea to throw in a couple of different colors into the mix in the Nike Kobe Black Mamba Pack.

The Nike Kobe 7 will come dressed in a Blux Fox colorway that is essentially a dark blue hue. Some unique features of the Nike Kobe 7 silhouette include the textured lines that can be found throughout most of the upper and the leather tongue. Kobe Bryant also wore the Kobe 7 while capturing the Gold Medal during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

I’ve never been a fan of the Nike Kobe 7 silhouette. Even now that I actually know more about Kobe sneakers I just feel like the shoe is a little too plain for my liking. Maybe it’s just this colorway.

The Nike Kobe 6 comes in a full River Rock colorway and the upper resembles snake scales inspired by Kobe?s nickname Black Mamba along with Flywire for support and a sockliner to mold to a player?s foot. The Swoosh branding on the side panels has been done in a lighter shade of grey along with gold detailing on the insoles.

What immediately stand out the most to me on the Kobe 6 is the snakeskin-inspired upper. That feature/reason alone makes this one of my favorite Kobe silhouettes of all time.

Yesterday we gave you an official look at the Supreme x Nike Air Max 98 shoe coming in the white/sail colorway. Today we take a look at the black colorway from the upcoming collaboration between Supreme and Nike.

Coming in a tonal offering, the black version of the Supreme x Nike Air Max 98 opts to come in a luxe aesthetic as the mudguard is done in a patent leather construction, while the rest of the shoe appears to be made out of mesh. Red accents are placed on the insole and outsole to help give it a little bit of a Supreme vibe. Tonal Nike branding appears on the side panels, Air Max branding on the tongue and dual-branding on the insoles. No price point or release date information has been announced, but expect these to drop sometime in the Spring.

The Nike Air Max 98 is a 6 out of 10 Nike Air Max model in my opinion. Having it collaborate with Supreme does nothing for me. I still see it as a 6 out of 10.

The women are about to be blessed with a brand new version of the Nike Air Huarache Run. Considered to be a premium version of the shoe, the Nike Huarache comes dressed with hits of premium suede covered in a texture that we’ve never seen on this model before.

The shoe starts off with an off-white upper contrasted by the copper placed on the heel cage of the shoe. The neoprene upper is paired up with tonal premium suede paneling that has a wavy design to them to give the shoe a new and refreshing look. Completing the aesthetics of the shoe is the gum bottom outsole to give it that classic touch. Said to be dropping internationally, it’s only a matter of time before we see these stateside. As mentioned above, the Kobe 4 marks a huge change in the Kobe line as it was the first low-top Kobe sneaker and Nike has made every Kobe since then a low-top. In my opinion this is one of the better shoes from the pack.

A few days ago we gave you a first look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low 07 LV8 Woven coming in a black upper paired up with a white sole unit. Today we take a look at the same model but this time we find it dressed in a royal blue upper paired up with hits of white placed throughout the shoe.

This version of the Air Force 1 Low comes equipped with woven nylon construction hits strategically placed on the side panels and toebox of the shoe. The rest of the shoe comes constructed out of leather coming in a royal blue colorway. The same tonal hue appears on the midsole which sits right above the all white outsole. Additional white hits are spotted on the branding seen on the tongue, heel tab and midsole. Lastly, patent leather can be seen on the tongue tag, heel tab and Nike Swoosh on the shoe. Good looking shoe, but what would make it look great is if you substitute the white outsole for a gum bottom. The woven placement is nice, I could do without the patent leather hits though. I do prefer the black colorway over this one though.

This one goes out for the small-footers looking to add some pop to your footwear. The Nike Air Force 1 Mid GS Hyper Pink comes dressed in a bold colored upper that will definitely cause some people some people to do a double take.

The mid-top is constructed out of a smooth leather coming in white and Hyper Pink hues. The white is placed on the toebox and side panels, while the bolder color of the two takes care of the rest of the upper. A white midsole/Hyper Pink outsole combination blends in nicely with the upper. Nike branding is placed on the side panels, heel tab and tongue of the shoe. The Nike Kobe 5 marks the second consecutive low-top shoe in the Nike Kobe line that weighed in at an astonishing 10.6 ounces making it the lightest Kobe sneaker to that point. Some features of the Kobe 5 include a Hyperfuse upper done in Tumbled Grey and Flywire for lock-down support on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe. Kobe Bryant also won his 2nd consecutive and 5th overall NBA Championship wearing these shoes which would go on to be his final one.

I know many people that say that the Kobe 5 is their favorite Kobe silhouette of all time. I’m not exactly sure why but if I had to take a guess I would say because of how lightweight and comfortable it must be. The colorway on this pair is not bad but I think Nike could have done better.

There are two sneakers in the Nike Kobe Black Mamba Pack that aren’t part of Kobe Bryant’s real signatures line, the Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 and the Nike Hyperdunk 2008.

The Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 already released yesterday and next week we’ll be seeing the release of the Hyperdunk 2008. Kobe debuted the Hyperdunk 2008 during the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing which is why they are closely attached to him. This colorway form the Black Mamba Pack features a tonal dark grey upper with lighter hits of grey on the Swoosh branding and gold detailing on the insoles.

Over the years we’ve seen several hybrid versions of the Nike Air Max 95, but none have been this odd looking as the footwear you see above. Simply dubbed the Nike Air Max 95 Boot Empire, this boot version of the classic runner is here to celebrate Nike Air Max Day.

The Nike Air Max 95 Empire will feature a modern cut-out design placed on a black tonal upper made out of a combination of suede, leather and mesh. The black silhouette is partnered up with a white sole unit that also comes equipped with Air bubbles to keep the classic aesthetics of the Air Max 95. Release date and price of the boot should be available in the next few days but expect these to drop on or around Nike Air Max Day (March 26th).

Although it’s not official yet, there’s a good chance that the boots will be made exclusively for the women. If that is in fact true, that makes sense since I just can’t see a lot of guys wear these.
