Tie-Dye Prints Appear On Ishod Wairs Latest Nike SB Dunk Release
By SoleInsider
Ishod Wair’s Nike SB Dunk Low regiment has been an eclectic one, with Nike Skateboarding referencing the auto-industry, patriotism, and more. Much like how Grant Taylor skipped the signature model process en lieu of an upgraded Nike Blazer, the Nike SB Dunk Low has been Ishod’s silhouette of choice, and here a hippie-centric tie-dye aesthetic is sure to turn heads. A black base allows for splashes of Multi-Color gradients on the side panel and heel while thick white laces match the Swoosh branding and clean midsole construction. Select spots like Premier are stocking this vibrant Dunk pair today, so check out a few more photos after the break and pick up your size for $95 USD.
#MambaDay: Black And Gold NIKEiD Kicks That Pay Homage To Kobe Bryant
By SoleInsider
April 13 is going to have plenty in store for fans of Kobe Bryant as the Black Mamba makes his final trip to Staples Center to suit up for the Los Angeles Lakers. Nike will be dropping the final sneaker in the epic Black Mamba pack, a limited edition NIKEiD option for the Kobe 11, a plethora of retirement gear at the team store and a few Nike Vault surprises that will get everybody hyped for the big day. But while Nike athletes have been honoring Mamba with black and gold kicks for the past week, what if you want to be a part of #MambaDay but aren’t necessarily a fan of the Kobe 11? That’s what we’re here for…
In this special #MambaDay edition of Fun With NIKEiD, we’ve put together the sneakers available now on NIKEiD that follow the April 13 blueprint of black, gold and icy/white outsole. You can still represent the Black Mamba in your own special way with these kicks.

By SoleInsider
Proving that Nike will release no Flyknit sneaker without a multicolor version, even the new Nike Flyknit Chukka Golf shoe gets the woven rainbow treatment. The hippest golf shoe yet receives this clean look, featuring a blend of black, Blue Glow, and Bright Crimson across the Flyknit, while white adds accents and Volt Flywire finishes them off. Golfers going for extra style on the links can pick up this latest Flyknit Chukka Golf now from select Nike retailers and Nike.com.
Nike Releases More Classic Bruins, But Not Quite The McFly Version
By SoleInsider
The Nike Bruin will forever be known as Marty McFly’s other Nike model of choice, right after the infamous Nike Mags of course. NikeLab brought us a dose of nostalgia from the film franchise with the release of Marty McFly’s Nike Bruin from Back To The Future late in 2015, and now the silhouette is moving on that momentum to give us a few other classic colorway selections. The premium white leather base returns accented by Swoosh colors of either Loyal Blue or Wolf Grey for a simple, refined look. Overseas retailers like Solebox are stocking each option on April 14th.
Expect More Mini Swoosh Logos On The Nike Air Max 1 Ultra
By SoleInsider
The Nike Air Max 1 Ultra is back featuring that OG mini-swoosh branding atop two incredibly clean Spring 2016 colorways. The Ultra tooling has always meant a lightweight outsole complete with a slimmed down profile and Nike Sportswear has taken advantage of that nontraditional aesthetic by equipping each of these white mesh bases with a camouflaged Swoosh to the point where you can’t even see the main branding on the side panel. It’s an interesting look especially when paired with a contrasting mudguard to allow for the forefoot’s Mini-Swoosh to stand out as the only noticeable branding throughout. Get with us after the break to check out the latest Nike Air Max 1 rendition and know that international spots like Asphalt Gold are stocking both colorways today.
The Original Carnivore Colorway Lives On The Nike Free Huarache Carnivore
By SoleInsider
The Nike Air Carnivore was one of the craziest retro trainers in Nike’s 90s catalog thanks to a unique dual-strap construction, high arching slip-on sock-like fit, and a bevy of bold colorways complete with a marbled midsole. The Carnivore namesake returned not too far back in the form of the modernized Nike Free Huarache Carnivore in which that dual-strap on the forefoot and ankle collar returned resting atop a Free 5.0 outsole unit while touches of the Huarache series held down the upper. NikeLab brought the look in a number of monochromatic finishes, but now the OG Carnivore’s vibe returns thanks to the original midsole marbling and shades of teal throughout. It’s the perfect combination of old and new for the Spring 2016 season. What do you think of the look? Check out more detailed photos below and expect this pair to hit NikeLab retailers in the near future.
Nike And The Feds Finally Take Down Supplied PDX For Selling Fake Sneakers
By SoleInsider
If copping kicks early is your thing, then you’ve probably come across Supplied PDX one time or another. James Pepion, owner of Supplied PDX (aka Supplied, Inc. and Supplied), has built a reputation of having upcoming Air Jordans and Nikes way in advance of release dates, but heavy collectors and customers in the past have been exposing him for years for selling counterfeit product and not delivering product period.
DeMar DeRozan Debuts The Nike Kobe 11 Mamba Day In Madison Square Garden
By SoleInsider
Yesterday Nike announced that they will be releasing a special Mamba Day graphic on NIKEiD for the Kobe 11 on Wednesday during Kobe’s final NBA game ever.
The Mamba Day graphic will feature black/gold graphics comprised of numbers that signify and represent all of his achievements and records he held while in the NBA. DeMar DeRozan who has been wearing Kobes religiously for the past few years wasted no time in debuting the shoes and couldn’t wait until Wednesday so he wore them last night in Madison Square Garden. DeRozan was a big factor in the Raps 93-89 vistory over the Knicks.
Take a look at a couple of pictures of DeMar wearing the kicks in action and let us know if you plan on creating a pair on April 13th. Retail price will run you $225.
Royal Blue And Black Cover This Upcoming Nike Air Foamposite Pro
By SoleInsider
This weekend we’ll be seeing the arrival of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro University Red. It’s believed that this colorway was inspired by a Ben Gordon PE pair that was created a few years back.
Now it appears that we’ll also be seeing a blue and black pair similar to another Ben Gordon PE. This Air Foamposite Pro comes with a royal blue shell upper with black detailing on the inner liner, tongue, jewel Swoosh, heel and tongue tabs, and the eyestay and ankle which are composed out of leather just like the University Red colorway.
This blue and black Air Foamposite Pro is currently scheduled to release on August 26th for $230. Stay tuned for more images in the ner future.
If this is a picture of the real retail pair then I think Nike could have made it look better by making the outsole black as well. I feel like the blue outsole isn’t really a good look.

The Nearly Triple White Nike Free Mercurial Superfly Releases This Month
By SoleInsider
The Nike Free Mercurial Superfly was a must-have silhouette dating back to the summer of 2014. A number of incredible general release pairs flooded the market only to quickly disappear from store shelves followed by the even more exclusive HTM offerings seen on the feet of Mark Parker himself. It isn’t too hard to see why the soccer-inspired boot has been such a success. Not only does the traditional free outsole add a familiar cushion and flexibility to the ride, but a Flyknit upper and sock-like fit stylishly add a lockdown comfort that you have to try on to believe. We’re sure this near-Triple White aesthetic will follow in the footsteps of past Mercurial Superfly drops as many are eagerly anticipating the Spring 2016 release. We have some good news for those of you dwelling across the Atlantic: the Nike Free Mercurial Superfly “Triple White” will release in European markets on April 28th. Sure, there are also accents of black speckling on the midsole as well as hints of Gym Red on the heel tab, but this is as close to an all-white-everything Mercurial Superfly we’re going to see. Check out more official photos below and stay tuned for a stateside release in the near future.
The Nike Kobe 11 Draft Day Imagines What Could Have Been
By SoleInsider
Nike has been paying homage to Kobe Bryant’s career this year with different colorways of the Nike Kobe 11. Over the weekend we saw the release of the Kobe 11 Aces which drew inspiration from Kobe’s high school, Lower Merion High School in Philadelphia.
Now the Swoosh will be paying homage to another important team/moment in the Black Mamba’s storied career. This Kobe 11 is dressed up in a combination of White, Blue Lagoon and Court Purple, the team colors of the Charlotte Hornets who originally drafted Kobe back in 1996. Kobe was taken as the 13th pick in the 1996 NBA Draft and was traded on Draft Day to the Lakers. This Kobe 11 is not made up of Flyknit but instead features an engineered mesh upper like the Aces colorway and has been hit with ?6.26.96? on the heel, the day that Kobe was drafted.
You’ll be able to purchase the Nike Kobe 11 Draft Day when it arrives at retailers on April 28th for $160. Is this a cop or a drop for you?
Definitely a colorway that you would want to add to the collection if you?re a Kobe Bryant fan. This shoe signifies the beginning of Kobe?s career and what could have been if he were never traded.

The Nike Air Foamposite Pro University Red Releases This Weekend
By SoleInsider
After a long way we’ll finally be seeing the arrival of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro in University Red this upcoming weekend.
This Air Foamposite Pro features University Red on the entire foam shell upper as well as on the Swoosh on the heel and by the toe, the stripe running down the tongue, the tongue and heel pull tabs, and the Nike check on the outsole. Contrasting black detailing then lands on the outsole, jewel Swoosh on the side panels, tongue, inner liner, laces and the leather eyestay and ankle.
Making its debut this on April 16th for a retail price of $230, will you be picking up or passing on this Foamposite release? Let us know in the comments below. Make sure you visit our Nike Air Foamposite Pro University Red launch page for the latest images, release information and other important updates.
I?ve never been a fan of any Foamposites but this University Red option isn?t that bad. I just can?t see myself spending $200 or more on a shoe that I ?sort of? like.

One of those bright and vibrant colorways of the original Nike Air Presto that we can expect to release in the near future is the Total Crimson pair that you see above. This Air Presto features a tonal Total Crimson mesh upper with White detailing on the midsole, and the branding on the toebox. The final touch is a Black rubber outsole that adds a little bit of contrast to the shoe.
There is no exact release date yet for this Total Crimson colorway of the Nike Air Presto but it should be arriving on nike.com as well as select Nike retailers soon. What are your thoughts on this colorway?
#MambaDay: 10 Black And Gold Nike Kobe Kicks You Can Rock On April 13
By SoleInsider
As April 13, aka #MambaDay, approaches, Kobe Bryant fans and sneakerheads across the world are paying their respects to one of the greatest of all-time by rocking his kicks. Some already started 21 days ago with a clever hashtag like #24DaysOfMamba (note: that’s not me), while others are just getting in on the action at the last second like they’re buying a New York Yankees hat for the first time right around the time Derek Jeter was retiring. Nike started things off with their short film that highlighted what Kobe meant to Nike’s roster and of course, the famous Black Mamba pack that is nearly impossible to cop (as of this post, I have not won a single Draw… I suck…) and the special Nike Kobe 11 iD that you will only have a limited amount of time to make.
Black and Gold kicks, meet Black and Gold card (Panini)
With Nike setting up Mamba to rock the black and gold Nike Kobe 11 Black Mamba for his final game, here are some other black and gold Nike Kobe kicks that you might want to consider wearing on the 13th.
Nike Kobe 8 Elite
Eastbay
This one is a little depressing because Mamba was supposed to wear these had he made it to the 2013 NBA Playoffs. He did wear a pair of the Kobe 8 Elite as he torn his ACL so that shoe will always be infamous than anything else. Of course, if Kobe is the unrelenting jerk that he makes himself out to be sometimes, he’ll rock the Kobe 8s for his last game in one last act of spite.
Nike Kobe 10 EXT Mid
Nike
Yeah, they’re not that great but we had to fill out this list and amazingly, these are less depressing to wear than the Kobe 8 Elite. Still sad and not that great of an effort at a lifestyle release, but it could have been worse. Kobe could have torn his ACL wearing these. Ok, moving on…
Nike Kobe 10 Elite Rose Gold
gc911
Now here’s where it gets good. The Rose Gold colorway might not be the gold that we all know and love, but it has a special appeal to it that actually works better in a casual situation than your gaudy gold. Yellow gold is dope, especially if you’re rocking a chain like Run DMC or Razor Ramon, but sometimes you want some that’s a little more sedated. Rose Gold fits that bill perfectly.
Nike Kobe 7 System Elite
Foot Locker
The debut of the Nike Basketball’s Elite series back in 2011 had a lot of people hyped with their emphasis on creating kicks that were built for the rigors of the postseason. What a lot of people did not see coming was how the Kobe 7 Elite looked a lot like the Kobe 6 with the scaled upper. It’s a little jarring and with the Lakers getting knocked out of the Playoffs earlier than expected, it dampened the impact of this release. Some pairs even made it outlet stores at nearly half off. If you were lucky enough to cop, congrats.
Nike Kobe 10 Elite Low Five Rings
Nike Vault
It might not have the hook of a “Six Rings” or even better, “Seven Rings”, but Mamba’s championship count is nonetheless impressive and definitely worth celebrating. This limited Christmas release had Kobe fans lining up outside of Staples Center this past December 25th because it would also include an amazing box
Nike Kobe 11 Eastbay Edition
Eastbay
You can technically make this pair right now on NIKEiD, but there’s something satisfying about being able to cop without having to go through the design process and higher price point. It fits the criteria perfectly with the black and metallic gold and makes it shine.
Nike Zoom Kobe 6 BHM
Foot Locker
Kobe’s signature kicks have been a part of Nike’s Black History Month program for quite some time now and the Zoom Kobe 6 received the black and gold treatment. It’s a fitting pair to rock for Mamba’s last ride.
Nike Kobe 2 Prelude
Nike
Ok, this is technically cheating since it’s grey and gold, but we have to give a shout out to one of the best Kobes Nike has ever made. With a beautiful marble finish, the shoe looks right at home in a museum and not on some hypebeast’s feet. Between the Prelude Pack and the Black Mamba Pack where Kobe has brought back his old kicks, this is still stands tall as the one to get.
Nike Zoom Kobe 5 Big Stage
Titan
The 2010 NBA Finals saw Kobe wear home and away versions of the Zoom Kobe 5 Big Stage, which were special edition colorways that represented the golden allure of the Larry O’Brien trophy and Kobe’s epic resume. Mamba finally beat the Celtics rocking these kicks and in maybe the most pressure packed moment of his career, he led the Lakers to a win in Boston to force a Game 7 wearing the black version.
Nike Kobe 11 Black Mamba
Nike
Well, it is the shoe he’s scheduled to wear for his last game, so duh…
