Nike has a good thing going on with the use of Vachetta Tan on their sneakers. It seems like every time they utilize the hue on any model it automatically looks and feels better. Up next is the Nike Air Max 90 Woven. Initially previewed back in February along with two other colorways, today we get another look at the Nike Air Max 90 Woven Vachetta Tan.
The woven version of the Air Max 90 comes with an all Vachetta Tan leather upper. Woven construction is placed all around the mudguard region/heel area to give the shoe a look of its own. Embossed/Debossed Nike branding can be found on the side panels, heel tab and tongue of the shoe. Adding some contrast to the shoe is the all-white sole unit seen below. No word yet on when these will arrive stateside, but they have already been spotted in some stores overseas, which means a stateside release is imminent.
Author’s Take
Still on the fence when it comes to how I feel about the model. One thing is for sure though, I love the use of Vachetta Tan, so if I were to pick up any pair, these would be it.
