Jordan Melo M12 Jade

Melo is going to be spending another year without a playoff appearance, but that doesn’t mean that the future looks as grim as it used to for the New York Knicks and their superstar. A certain Latvian rookie has been showcasing his skills under Melo’s mentorship, and Carmelo’s Jordan Melo M12 is still going strong with a number of new colorways on the way for Spring 2016. The latest “Jade” aesthetic utilizes an inspired contrasting medial side, a Hyper Jade teal on the unique heel construction, and just the right amount of Chrome accents on the Jumpman branding for an enticing Melo offering. Are you a fan of the look? Check out official photos below and we’ll let you know when this pair arrives at retailers in the near future.

First Look At The Air Jordan 17+ Bulls

Earlier this month we found out that a new colorway of the Air Jordan 17 would be releasing in May of 2016.

Today we get a first look at this new colorway of the Air Jordan 17 that has been dubbed the Bulls colorway. This colorway features a Black leather upper with Gym Red accents on the eyelets, tongue, and around the heel. White detailing then lands on the outsole to complete the Bulls theme. It’s being rumored that this colorway is inspired by Michael Jordan?s 30,000th point he scored as a Wizard while playing against the Chicago Bulls on January 4th, 2002.

Take a first look at the shoe above and let us know your thoughts down in the comments. This Air Jordan 17+ Bulls is currently expected to release on May 29, 2016 for a retail price of $250.

Author’s Take

This is not the best picture of the shoe so it’s hard to tell what it actually looks like. I do like the black upper I just wish the shoe had more red on it. If it will retail for $250 like expected though these are an easy pass for me.

Hyper Turquoise Covers The New Jordan Reveal

Jordan Reveal 1 Jordan Reveal 2 Jordan Reveal 3

Just yesterday we gave you a look at the new White/Metallic Silver colorway of the Jordan Reveal, Jordan Brand’s newest lifestyle silhouette.

Less than 24 hours later we get a look at yet another new color option that takes a much brighter route in comparison to the White pair from yesterday. This Jordan Reveal comes with a full Hyper Turquoise mesh upper and a white midsole/outsole. Black speckling then lands on the midsole along with a black Jumpman by the heel to complete the clean Spring look.

Take a look at the on-feet images above and look for this colorway of the Jordan Reveal to arrive at stateside retailers later this Spring.

Author’s Take

Now that I’ve seen this turquoise colorway I’m excited to see what other colorways Jordan Brand comes up with in the future. I’d like to see a nice burgundy pair or maybe navy blue. I just may pick up a pair down the line.

Could This Be A First Look At The Air Jordan 1 What The

At the beginning of the month a new rumor surfaced about an Air Jordan 1 What The possibly releasing later this year. The only image that was available at the time was a photoshop creation by @kickposters that showed the Air Jordan 1 Bred, Chicago and Royal colorways all mixed together to create one shoe.

Today a new image surfaced of what could actually be the Air Jordan 1 What The. As you can see the Air Jordan 1 above features various colors all over the shoe from past Air Jordan 1 releases and has more of a “What The” look to it unlike the previous version that only featured three colorways. This could be the real thing or just another photoshop edit. Stay tuned for updates on this potential release.

Would you be happy if this was the real thing? Let us know your thoughts down in the comments below.

Author’s Take

Way too many colors on this Air Jordan 1. To be honest I don’t think Jordan should even mess around with creating a What The colorway of the Air Jordan 1. This should be called the Air Jordan 1 Multicolor instead.

Look For A Gold Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle To Release This Holiday Season

Last year Jordan Brand decided to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1 by releasing a handful of colorways as a part of the Pinnacle Collection. Each colorway from this collection featured premium materials and metal detailing throughout the shoe for that luxurious look. Each pair also retailed for $400.

Jordan Brand will now be releasing the Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle as a part of their Holiday 2016 collection. This luxurious Air Jordan 6 will feature a Metallic Gold and White color scheme and is rumored to somewhat resemble the Gold Oscars PE that was created for Spike Lee.

There is no images of the sneaker yet but the Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle is expected to release in December of 2016. Make sure you stay tuned to Kicks On Fire to keep up with any and all updates on this release.

A gold Air Jordan 6? Sounds like it may be too flashy for me but I’ll save my thoughts until I see pictures of the shoe.

There Will Be An Air Jordan 3 With A Wool Upper Releasing In December

When it was announced last month that the Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue would be returning on Black Friday we thought that it would be the only colorway releasing for 2016 since Jordan Brand had just placed the silhouette in “the vault” back in 2004. Then earlier this month we also learned that a black and white Air Jordan 3 would be releasing on Cyber Monday.

Today we find out that we can now add a 3rd Air Jordan 3 release for 2016 as a Wool version of the iconic silhouette is set to drop later this year. This new colorway of the Air Jordan 3 will be composed of a wool material on the upper and the colors on the shoe will include Dark Grey, Dark Grey and Sail.

There is no exact release date at the moment but the Air Jordan 3 Wool is expected to release some time in the month of December. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for more updates on this release.

An Air Jordan 12 Wool Will Also Release In 2016

Adding to the news that there will be an Air Jordan 3 with a wool upper releasing some time in December, we can now add another Jordan silhouette to the wool collection.

With Jordan Brand releasing a nice amount of Air Jordan 12s this year, we have just found out that there will also be an Air Jordan 12 with a wool upper dropping in the Fall. This new colorway of the classic retro will feature a premium wool material on the upper in a Dark Grey, Metallic Silver and Black color scheme.

There is no images of the sneaker yet but the Air Jordan 12 Wool is expected to release this October. Make sure you stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for release updates as soon as they become available.

Just like the Air Jordan 3 Wool, it’s going to be interesting to see an Air Jordan 12 utilizing a wool upper. I look forward to seeing the pictures.

First Look At The Air Jordan 17+ Retro Bred

Unsurprisingly, the return of the Air Jordan 17+ Retro in the OG “Copper” will be accompanied by some new colorways for the shoe, which we can see here with a first look at an all-new “Bred” edition. Originally released in 2002 in only the Copper version with croc-skin paneling at the heel, the Air Jordan 17+ finally gets a second colorway, featuring the classic black and red Bulls color scheme?even though MJ wasn’t playing for his former Chicago team when the Air Jordan 17 was originally on the shelves. Enjoy this first look at the Air Jordan 17+ “Bred” and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more information and a release date.

Air Jordan 8 Cigar & Champagne Pack Releasing In June

Jordan Brand looks to continue the string of Michael Jordan’s Championship celebrations with the third installment of the Air Jordan “Cigar & Champagne” Pack. This year’s release will feature the Air Jordan 8 Retro, the shoe MJ wore during the 1993 Finals against the Phoenix Suns. With the Cigar & Champagne theme being the anchor to this mini-series of release, expect some sick details in the form of lace-locks in the shape of Championship rings and materials that mimic the festive nature of the theme. Expect these in June with a price-tag of $250 per pair.

An Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack Is Releasing This Summer

The last two years we have seen Jordan Brand commemorate Michael Jordan’s 1st and 2nd NBA Championships with the Air Jordan 6 Championship Pack and the Air Jordan 7 Championship Pack, respectively.

Now since the Air Jordan 8 is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year we’ll be seeing an Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack that celebrates Michael’s 3rd NBA Championship and the Bulls first three-peat season that took place in 1992-1993. At the moment there is no images of the shoes but the pack will include two colorways of the Air Jordan 8, one in black and one in white. As was the case with the previous two Championship Packs, each shoe is expected to be inspired by the look of Champagne bottles and Cigars and will feature premium materials.

The Air Jordan 8 Championship Pack is currently scheduled to release some time in June 2016 with each pair retailing for $250. Make sure you check back with Kicks On Fire for the latest updates on this latest Championship Pack from Jordan Brand.

I’m not a fan of the Air Jordan 8 so I can’t say that I’m looking forward to this pack. I am curious to see what the shoes look like though.

Theres A Triple Black Colorway Of The Jordan Spike 40

The Jordan Spike 40 Low showcased Spike Lee’s dedication to Jordan Brand this past October, as the famed film director moved on past the styles of the Son of Mars, Spiz’ike, and more to claim his very own original lifestyle model with the Jumpman. The latest colorway exudes a certain premium quality, as a “Triple Black” look is accented by Metallic Gold hits throughout for a look reminiscent of Drake’s OVO Jordan 10s. A reflective 3M even manages to bring a Gold Foil brilliance when light hits the ankle collar and heel. No word yet on a release date, but you can check out more photos below.

First Look At The Air Jordan 11 Low Navy Blue

With the Spring/Summer seasons here it should be no surprise to see that lots of brands will be releasing low-top renditions of some of their most classic sneakers. Today we get a first look at an upcoming colorway of the Air Jordan 11 Low.

Dressed in Navy Blue upper on the ballistic mesh upper and the patent leather mudguard, this new colorway of the Air Jordan 11 also features a white midsole for contrast and a gum outsole. The gum outsole is a welcomed sight since we’ve never seen an Air Jordan 11 with a gum outsole.

Take a first look at the sneaker above that will be releasing later this year and stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for release updates.

via: sungi_j

Author’s Take

A navy blue Air Jordan 11? I like how Jordan Brand is thinking outside the box a bit and giving us a completely new colorway. The gum outsole is also a really nice look. The only thing I’m not too happy about is that it’s a low-top. Maybe once I see better pics I’ll be able to give better judgement.

Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle In Gold Releasing In December

Holiday 2016 won’t disappoint, according to Michael Jordan’s son Marcus who recently saw his father’s brand’s winter product preview. One of the Jordan releases that will surely cause is a stir is the rumored Air Jordan 6 “Pinnacle”, which is described as a gold/white colorway releasing in December. While no true images exist, we can speculate that the Air Jordan 6 “Pinnacle” could look something like Spike Lee’s PE that was made for him for the Oscars. On the other hand, there’s a chance the hits of gold could be more selective, as seen on the original Air Jordan 6 DMP or the Air Jordan 6 Golden Moments. We’ve got more previews for Holiday 2016 coming soon so stay tuned and let us know what you think about the rumored “Pinnacle” 6s for December.
