New On-Feet Images Of The Air Jordan 9 Low Black/White
By SoleInsider
The month of April will bring us a brand new colorway of the Air Jordan 9 Low. With the Spring season right around the corner it’s a welcomed sight to see a low-top Air Jordan hit retailers.
This new colorway of the Air Jordan 9 Low features a full leather upper done in black and white. Black covers the entire upper with snakeskin textured leather covering the entirety of the mudguard and the heel. Adding some color are hits of Gym Red on the inner liner, and the branding on the heel, midsole and outsole. Finishing things up is a white outsole.
Take a look at these new on-feet images and remember that the Air Jordan 9 Low in Black/White releases on April 16th for a retail price of $170. Also make sure you visit our Air Jordan 9 Low Black / White launch page for additional images, videos and other updates.
I don?t really mess with the original Air Jordan 9 so a low-top version doesn?t make me look twice. The colorway is decent but Jordan Brand should have made this a mid.

The Air Jordan 4 White/Cement To Restock At Only Three Retailers
By SoleInsider
Missed out on the Air Jordan 4 “White/Cement” featuring that classic ‘Nike Air’ branding? Plenty of you did when the pair first dropped during the NBA’s All-Star Weekend festivities, but don’t let that happen to you this time around. Tomorrow, March 16th, Mike’s iconic White Cement 4s offering will be restocking at Foot Locker, Eastbay, and Champs Sports. And just in case you aren’t too confident in your ability to catch the retail release, prices aren’t too bad on eBay.
The Air Jordan 5 Low Knicks Will Finally Give New York Fans Something To Cheer About
By SoleInsider
New York Knicks fans don’t really have much to cheer for these days. Having been saddled with mediocrity for the past several years now, it’s hard to see a light at the end of the tunnel, but with the emergence of rookie phenom Kristaps Porzingis, there is hope yet for the one of the greatest basketball cities in the world. Jordan Brand is sharing in the optimism – or trolling depending on who you ask – with the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 5 Low Knicks, a new colorway that is perfect for the blue and orange style of the Big Apple. Will you be rocking the Knicks 5 with your Porizingis jersey? Chances are we’ll be seeing more of that combination this summer than any other Knicks player.
For more information on this upcoming release, be sure to check out our Air Jordan 5 Low Knicks launch page for all the latest news, images, information and links to buy on release day.
The last Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Jordan of Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls reign is indeed the Air Jordan XV, a radically designed sneaker that took cues from fighter plans and made use of woven uppers. Originally releasing in 1999/2000, the Air Jordan 15 doesn’t quite hold the esteem as earlier Tinker-penned designs, but it did mark another Player Exclusive era for Jordan Brand. The Air Jordan 15 has never been re-released with the exception of the Jordan Flight Club release in 2007 and the Countdown Pack release in 2008, but it looks like the fifteenth Air Jordan in the legacy is set for a return in Spring 2017. Your thoughts on this Air Jordan model?
The “Nouveau” line of updated constructions for the Air Jordan 1 continue with this stylish new snakeskin edition. The colorway stays traditional with a classic Bulls-friendly black, white, and red mix, but the materials go contemporary in an all-black faux snakeskin build with cut-out Swooshes revealing mesh behind. Enjoy this first look at the Air Jordan 1 High Nouveau “Snakeskin”, and stay tuned to Sneaker News for release information.
The Air Jordan 1 Low OG White / Midnight Navy Releases This Weekend
By SoleInsider
The Air Jordan 4 Dunk From Above won’t be the only retro release from Jordan Brand this upcoming weekend. Also hitting retailers on March 19th will be the Air Jordan 1 Low OG White/Midnight Navy.
This instant classic colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG uses a classic color combination by dressing up the majority of the upper in a smooth White leather while Midnight Navy detailing appears on the Swoosh branding on the side panels, inner liner, outsole, and the OG Nike Air branding on the tongue. White laces and a white midsole along with the Wings branding on the heel tab cap off the look on this simple but effective colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG.
Remember that this Air Jordan 1 Low will be releasing on March 19th for a retail price of $130. Don’t forget to visit our Air Jordan 1 Low OG White/Midnight Navy launch page for additional images and other updates regarding this release.
There?s only a handful of Air Jordan 1 Lows that really catch my eye that I would even consider buying. Unfortunately this isn?t one of them. Clean and simple colorway but just not for me.
The Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone Makes Its Debut This Summer
By SoleInsider
The Spring/Summer is the perfect time of the year to release, buy and rock low-top sneakers without having to worry about getting them all trashed because of rain, snow or other crazy weather. Jordan Brand plans on releasing a few different low-top sneakers this Summer including a couple of different colorways of the Air Jordan 9 Low.
Releasing for the first time this June will be the Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone. Pictured above, this low-top version of the Air Jordan 9 features a full University Blue leather upper with contrasting white detailing on the sole unit. Black accents also make an appearance on the inner liner, tongue branding, and heel logo.
Look for the Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone to release on June 11th at select Jordan Brand retailers for a retail price of $170 since this is a low-top sneaker. Do you plan on picking up a pair? Let us know down in the comments below.
The low-top version of the Air Jordan 9 doesn’t actually look that bad. However I’m not a fan of University Blue so I wouldn’t pick up this colorway. I’m sure that many people do look forward to this release though.
A Restock Of The Air Jordan 4 OG 89 White Cement Is Going Down This Week
By SoleInsider
Considered one of the best (if not THE best) release of 2016 so far, the Air Jordan 4 OG 89 White Cement released almost exactly one month ago today during NBA All Star Weekend. Everyone was happy to see an OG colorway of the Air Jordan 4 return especially since it featured Nike Air branding on the heel. While the shoe didn’t sell out instantly as many people expected, it did sell out a day or two after the release date. But not everyone was able to pick up a pair. Some people may have not liked it intially when looking at pictures but when they saw them in person they changed their mind. Others maybe didn’t have the money to buy them at the time. The point is that there’s many reason why people who wanted or want a pair now weren’t able to grab one last month.
Whatever the reason may be today we have some really good news for those of you that are looking to add a pair to your collection or even those that want a 2nd or 3rd pair. The Air Jordan 4 OG 89 White Cement will be restocking this upcoming Wednesday (March 16th) at retailers that include Foot Locker, Eastbay and Footaction. The restock will have pairs in mens and GS so everyone will get a second chance. Will you be picking up a pair when the restock goes down?
Sneakers In 4K: Air Jordan 4 Dunk From Above (Video)
By SoleInsider
Set to drop this weekend is the Air Jordan 4 Dunk From Above, the continuation of the Air Jordan Dunk From Above that also includes the Air Jordan 5 Low Dunk From Above. While the 5 Low was a mildly controversial with its low-cut look, the 4 is dropping in traditional cut but in a bold new colorway that is surely to get people talking one way or another. Considering how popular the Air Jordan 4 silhouette is, don’t expect this to stay on store shelves too long, especially after people see this pair in stunning 4K HD as part of our Sneakers In 4K video series.
For more information on this release, check out our Air Jordan 4 Dunk From Above launch page where you’ll find more images, news, videos and places where you’ll be able to buy them on release day.
It was only a matter of time before Jordan Brand made the infamously exclusive ‘Pantone’ colorways available at retail. The Air Jordan 9 Low “Pantone” is first up, as that North Carolina shade of University Blue dominates the upper in all of its monochromatic nature to contrast a simple black lining and white midsole. The silhouette choice is a surprising one – we haven’t seen an Air Jordan 9 Low in quite some time, but the Jumpman does plan to bring snakeskin materials to a Bred theme along with an all-red affair in the foreseeable future. This “Pantone” look is rumored to release at retail on June 11th for $170 USD. Be sure to check out more of this Jordan 9 Low below and we’ll keep you updated on all of the latest Jordan release dates right here on Sneaker News.
Someday in the near future there will be an actual Air Jordan Day. It could be the day Michael Jordan was born or the day he signed with Nike or the release date of the very first Air Jordan. Whatever the case is, sneaker culture will absolutely go apes**t over an Air Jordan Day because we already do it every Saturday (Want proof? Wait until the Air Jordan 12 Flu Game and Air Jordan 11 Space Jam come back.), so why not make it official?
On that hypothetical Air Jordan Day, there will be a Vote Back, similar to what they’re doing with Air Max Day right now. Nike will let us choose one and only one Air Jordan to retro once more. Regardless of its rarity before, this time it will be a general release and for everybody that votes for the winning shoe, they will be guaranteed an opportunity to buy a pair. That’s right; no worrying about bots, resellers and hypebeasts. All you need to make your dream come true is a vote and hope that your pick wins.
So what will you choose? The Air Jordan 4 Playoffs that MJ wore to take down the Cavs with The Shot complete with “Nike Air” branding? How about the elusive Air Jordan 2 Eminem that any Jordan collector would consider a must-have? What if you could bring back the Air Jordan 5 Tokyo 23? The Air Jordan 11 Silver Anniversary with a Jumpman for everybody? Or maybe you missed out on something recent like the Air Jordan 10 OVO White and/or Black and just want a clean shot at the kicks. Are you a Slam Dunk fan and you couldn’t believe that you took the L on the Air Jordan 6 tribute? The choice is yours.
Unlike the Nike Air Max Vote Back, where sneakerheads are just picking the latest models that just dropped and forgetting about the OGs, there’s a good chance that won’t be the case with a possible Air Jordan Vote Back. With so much information and attention being paid to Air Jordans both new and old, everybody that claims to be a sneakerhead owns everything there is to know about Air Jordans. They may not know what Roman Numerals are, but they know their Js.
While the Air Max Vote Back has 100 choices, let’s keep it simple and limit the picks to 20 (mostly because the poll would explode if it had to go above 20). It’s a mix of retros that have been brought back a million times over, some of the most hyped general releases of the past few years and a few rarities. What will you choose?
Air Jordan 4 White/Cement Restocking On March 16th
By SoleInsider
Good news for those of you that missed out on one of February’s biggest releases: the coveted Air Jordan 4 White Cement will be re-stocking at retailers like Eastbay, Champs, and Foot Locker on March 16th. This year’s Air Jordan 4 Retro was special given the fact that the Jumpman branding was replaced throughout by a more traditional ‘Nike Air’ branding. The $220 price point reflected the change, as Jordan Brand attempted to release a one-to-one replication of Mike’s 1989 classic. Will you be vying for this pair on the restock? For those of you that can’t wait for this upcoming release, know that the White/Cement 4s are available right now on eBay.
Jordan Brand Has Big Plans For The Air Jordan 12 In 2016
By SoleInsider
Already dropping the popular new “The Master” colorway, things look to be getting even more serious for the Air Jordan 12 Retro as the year progresses. Today we get a first look at two more brand-new colorways for the iconic sneaker, headlined by the “Wings” version. Rumored to be limited to only 12,000 pairs, the premium Air Jordan 12 “Wings” will feature the classic “Playoffs” colorway with a couple of twists: premium black leather and metallic gold midfoot tabs inscribed with WINGS?apparently a nod to the famous Michael Jordan “Wings” poster. Somewhat less notable but still what looks to be a great new colorway, the Air Jordan 12 will be dropping in a clean grey, white, and blue look. Preview both new Air Jordan 12s here, and stay tuned to Sneaker News for further details and release information for each.
These past few days have brought us several different images of the Air Jordan 9 Low Pantone that managed to give us a pretty solid look at the entire shoe. Not too long ago, all we had was a close-up shot of the shoe that didn’t really show much, but these latest images of the shoe show it from different many different angles to give us a real good feel for what the shoe is going to look like.
The new images show that the shoe will in fact come in an all-Pantone (Carolina blue) upper done out of a leather and suede construction. The tonal appearance of the shoe is contrasted by the white accents found on the sole unit and “23” branding on the tongue. In addition to the white accents, there are also hits of black placed on the Jumpman globe branding on the heel, lining and tongue tag of the shoe. An additional Jumpman is spotted on the midsole to complete the major attributes of the shoe. Once we get the release date, will these Air Jordan 9 Lows be on your watch list? Sound off in the comments below.
This has potential to do well since the Pantone colorway is highly coveted on Jordan Brand sneakers. This Air Jordan 9 Low may actually do well for itself.
