Honor Kobe Bryants Career With This Upcoming Air Jordan 9

After a historic 20-year career in the NBA, this forthcoming variation of the classic Air Jordan 9 is essentially a tribute to Kobe Bryant.
Shaded in the Los Angeles Lakers?s signature tones, white leather is utilized for its upper, while purple adorns the patent leather overlays that encompasses the midsole unit, throughout the rear and flows along its collar section to solidify its dominant two-tone palette.
Encapsulating the respective theme are evident with pops of yellow gracing the branding across its tongue tab, mini Jumpman logos located across its heels and outsole, in addition to more branding prominent on the rear with the number ?23? and a circular globe badge. Finishing touches include shimmering metallic silver eye stays and matching white laces.
Priced at $190, look for this model to debut at select JB and Nike retailers sometime during November 2016.

I really like this silhouette in olive/black, but, this colorway is pretty solid too. It?s a nice gesture and solid tribute. I?m sure a lot of fans will be pleased.
Following Jordan Brand’s recent image of Team USA yesterday, which unveiled the new Air Jordan 31 on Carmelo Anthony and Jimmy Butler, the forthcoming model is given a closer look, as it’s showcased on the feet of Chicago Bulls’ star guard, Jimmy Butler once again.
Dressed in a USA-themed colorway that correlates with the upcoming 2016 Summer Games in Rio, the basketball sneaker’s distinctive aesthetic takes cues from the iconic AJ 1 with a refined woven upper and the addition of Swooshes across its side panels. This particular pair will be seen on both Jimmy Butler and Carmelo Anthony throughout the Olympics.
This December, Jordan Brand will be bringing back the beloved Air Jordan 9 Retro OG White Black True Red. If you?re a fan of the 9s, this has to be considered a must-have in your collection.
The Air Jordan 9 Retro OG White Black True Red is classified as a Retro OG release for the simple fact that it will come with ?Nike Air? branding on it. While you may not be able to see it once you put the shoe on, real OG enthusiasts will appreciate the fact that it comes with Nike Air-branded insoles. Coming in a White, Black and Red colorway, the majority of the shoe is made out of leather to give the shoe its subtle aesthetic. Additional branding can be spotted on the heel, tongue and sole unit.

Andres Carrillo, News: I wouldn’t say I’m a fan of the Air Jordan 9 since I don’t own any pairs, but I think this one of the better colorways in existence. You can’t go wrong with a classic Chicago/Bulls colorway. I don’t plan on picking up a pair unless I can get it for well below retail.

Jordan Brand’s Remastering process continues with the release of the latest ‘Nike Air’ wielding Air Jordan 5 retro. The legendary Jordan 5 Black Metallic is back in a way almost identical to the way Tinker Hatfield designed them all the way back in 1990. The upper consists of a higher quality Durabuck material in jet black while the visible air unit is pre-aged with a yellowish tint. The 3M tongue returns but the real highlight here is the white ‘Nike Air’ branding on the heel replacing the Jumpman logo that took over dating back to the early 2000s. Could this really be happening?
In a couple of months we’re expected to see the Air Jordan 1 High OG Bred make a return during Labor Day weekend. Now it appears that there may be a possibility that we see another classic Air Jordan 1 also return this year.
The original Black Toe colorway of the Air Jordan 1 is rumored to be releasing later this year with the early images above serving as proof. This Air Jordan 1 features a combination of white, black, and red along with the OG Nike Air branding on the tongue. There has been no confirmation yet, but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

The world gets its best look yet at the Air Jordan 31, thanks to Jimmy Butler who is wearing a pair for the USA Basketball team’s media day and practice events. As you can see, it’s the “Olympic” colorway of the 31, featuring an appropriate red, white, and blue color scheme across the all-new Air Jordan 1 inspired minimalist design of the latest chapter in the history of Flight. You’ll have to wait a couple more days for the Air Jordan 31 to be officially unveiled, but for now enjoy this substantial look at the “Olympic” colorway to get a good idea at what you can expect to see on July 20th.
Take A Look At Anthony Hamiltons Air Jordan 1 Brown/Gum PE

Anthony Hamilton is on a roll. After giving us a look at exclusive brown/gum colorways of the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 5 the last two weeks, this week the r&b singer now showcases an Air Jordan 1.
Just like the previous two pairs of retros, this colorway of the Air Jordan 1 High also features a brown/gum combination. Brown leather dominates the upper while white accents appear on the Wings branding by the ankle and the Nike Air on the tongue. A white midsole and gum outsole complete the look on this pair of Jordan 1s. According to Hamilton, Jordan Brand sent him pairs of the Air Jordan 1-30 all in this same look, so we’ll probably continue seeing these exclusives in the near future.

The Air Jordan 14 Indiglo Returns This Summer (Video)

The Air Jordan 14 Indiglo is back for the first time since the original release in 1999. A lot has changed in the sneaker world since that time, but one thing that has stayed constant is the unique place that the Air Jordan 14 holds in the hearts and minds of sneakerheads and Michael Jordan fans all across the world. While many remember the 14 as Jordan’s final game shoe as a Chicago Bull and revere it as such, others don’t put that much stock to them and save their love for Air Jordans 1-13. Released in June of 1999, the Indiglo 14 is also unique for not having a Chicago-style colorway, which was rare for the time period. Now one of the final OGs gets a retro release later this year and it will be interesting to see how the world reacts.

After getting what we believed to be a leaked look at the upcoming Air Jordan 31 over the weekend, today things got much more official a Jimmy Butler and Carmelo had the sneakers on full display with Team USA.
The two Jordan Brand stars are pictured above wearing the Air Jordan 31 in a USA/Olympic colorway. Melo and Butler seem to be wearing the same colorway which features a white knitted upper with blue and red accents. At the moment the Air Jordan 31 is expected to release on September 3rd. Jordan Brand just unveiled a sick Team USA team photo, and they may have unveiled the Air Jordan 31 on the feet of their brand athletes Carmelo Anthony and Jimmy Butler. From afar, the shoes like Nike product thanks to the Swoosh on the upper, but based on leaked photos of the Jordan 31 in the black/red colorway, the similarities are clear. Jimmy Butler already confirmed that he’d wear the Air Jordan 31 during the Olympics, and it looks like Carmelo Anthony may as well. The rest of the Team USA roster reps Nike, with the exception of Harrison Barnes and Kyle Lowry (adidas) and Klay Thompson (ANTA). Check out the full photo ahead.

Long before Drake earned a shoe deal with Jordan Brand, there was another prominent rapper who was doing wonders for Nike. An “influencer” before the term took off, Will Smith loved to rock sneakers – especially Jordans – during his Fresh Prince of Bel-Air days that it has become one of the enduring legacies of the show. Well, besides the short jokes, Carlton Dance and Will emotes that could fill up an emoji keyboard nowadays.
While Smith wore Js of all kinds on the show, the pair that he’s most associated with is the Air Jordan 5. Will wore the 5s in various episodes and on plenty of promotional material. The bond is so tight that Jordan Brand actually created an entire collection – including a new Air Jordan 5 colorway – that were unofficially inspired by the Fresh Prince.

Mimicking the AJ 1 that released last year, the sneaker?s aesthetic is simply a clean two-tone makeup. Stealthy black covers the smooth and textured leather upper, while it’s juxtaposed against a crisp, white rubber sole unit to solidify the overall makeup. I?m biased towards the silhouette and even though it looks somewhat boring, the colorway is a classic. I?m not really into it that much yet. It might grow on me as the months pass till its official release though, but, I?ll still probably purchase since it?s a simple and clean offering.
