It was only a matter of time before Shane McMahon made the leap of faith in a pair of Air Jordan 1s and landed on an episode of Sneaker Shopping. The son of WWE Vince McMahon and wrestling legend in his own right (Google “Shane McMahon Kurt Angle street fight” if you don’t believe Shane can go) made an appearance on the popular video series on Monday and talked about his love of classic Air Jordans, namely the Air Jordan 1 in all colors and the Air Jordan 3 True Blue (which will be making a return this year). Shane also touches briefly on the Air Jordan XXX PEs that we wore for Wrestlemania 32 against the Undertaker but don’t expect him to reveal who his plug is that made those 1/1s a reality.

As the world of professional wrestling beings to branch out and invade other parts of “the culture” (see: Enzo Amore, The Rock getting signature Under Armour trainers, etc.), Shane is also asked how he feels about Kanye West’s obscenely expensive signature shoes, whether he would rock John Cena’s K-Mart kicks and what sneaker heat his father might have in his closet.

WWE also shares this bonus clip where Shane talks about the timing of when he wears certain pairs of Js. He might not be the craziest know-it-all sneakerhead you know, but Shane-O-Mac is definitely an OG because he lived through the old days and was there on the ground floor, with Wrestlemania and Air Jordans really taking off around the same time frame.

The Air Jordan 12 has been one of Jordan Brand’s retro selections of choice throughout 2016. Not only have such classics as the “Flu Game” and “French Blue” arrived at retailers, but the Jumpman have also managed to recapture people’s interest through a number of new colorways. The latest Jordan 12 release will be a kid’s exclusive perfect for the back to school season, as a candy-coated “Purple Dust” color will be releasing at retail in the near future.

The Air Jordan 12 “Purple Dust” takes a new Blue Cap shade throughout the leather upper while Purple Dust accents land on the outsole, lining, and laces. The unique mudguard inspired by Japan’s rising sun flag is actually rather subdued here thanks to a matching Blue Cap shade. Metallic Silver accents linger on the lace eyelets for a premium touch. While we were able to provide you with a sneak peek of the boxing for the highly-anticipated 2016 Air Jordan 11 Space Jam, new detailed images of the packaging have now released.

The exterior of the box is draped in all-black with a large ?45? embossed on the top portion to acknowledge its OG makeup, while the number 23 juxtaposes the top cover as well, which is comprised of a deconstructed Bugs Bunny cartoon graphic. Furthermore, a ’45’ wrapping paper is included and pays homage to when this pair first appeared during the 1995 playoffs.

Look for the silhouette to return at select JB and Nike retailers on Saturday, December 17 for a price tag of $220.

We still have over four months before the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” arrives at retailers, but we have a pretty good understanding of what this year’s holiday retro release will entail. The Jordan 11 Space Jam will release on December 17th featuring a remastered construction that brings back original ’45’ PE branding, a unique patent leather mudguard shape that more closely resembles original 1995 samples, and an added icy hue on the outsole.

Today we get a look at the Space Jam 11’s packaging. The special edition box features unique ’23’ cartoon artwork while the usual slide out feature returns for yet another release. Don’t look now, but the Air Jordan 5 Olympic is less than one week away! We found out about this shoe quite some time ago, so it’s kind of crazy to see the shoe releasing next Saturday.

Inspired by the Gold Medal the best of the best get at the Summer Olympics, the shoe is done in a White leather upper accented by the Black and Metallic Gold hits found throughout the shoe. The Metallic Gold can be seen on the tongue as well as on shark teeth of the midsole. A translucent outsole, clear netting, White laces and Black lining round out the main parts of the shoe. While the Barons colorway debuted today, another variation of the Air Jordan 12 GS is introduced, as this particular pair is expected to make its arrival sometime later this Fall 2016.

Defined by dark purple dust gracing the outsole, inner lining and laces, the leather upper is comprised of a light blueish tone to cap off its respective colorway. This palette also suggests that it might be inspired by the Charlotte Hornets. Further detailed with metallic silver upper eyelets and matching pull tabs, the retail price is listed at $140.
