After being placed in the vault for over two years, the Air Jordan 3 will be returning next week in a simple tonal colorway.

The Air Jordan 3 gets covered in a premium Black leather upper for the Fall as the entire upper gets done in black including the laces, and the branding on the tongue and heel. A black visible Nike Air unit provides a clean pop over a completely white midsole and outsole.

You can look for this blacked out Air Jordan 3 to release on October 15th in men’s, GS, PS, and TD sizing for $190, $140, $80, and $60 respectively. Click and bookmark our official Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday launch page now for more images, info and release details.

Author’s Take

Gone for two years and this is the colorway that Jordan Brand decides to come back with. Way too plain and boring. Easy pass on my end.

More Images Of The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Top 3

jorda 1 top 3 2 jordan 1 top 3 1

I still can’t read what the general consensus of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Top 3 is. A group of people say they don’t like it at all and it’s hideous, while another group says this is a must-cop if you’re a fan of the Jordan 1 model. Regardless of what group you land on, this release is rapidly approaching and the closer we get to the date, the more images that begin to pop up.

The look of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Top 3 is defined by combining three of the original AJ 1 colorways ? ?Chicago,? ?Banned? and ?Royal?. Each of the three colorways is represented on the shoe as the themes are blended across the entire upper and sole unit of the shoe. Another cool feature, which can be noted above is that the left shoe rocks a different look than the right shoe, sort of giving the pair a mismatched look. Nike Air branding on the tongue and Wings branding on the ankle complete the look of the shoe. Priced at $160, you will be able to get a pair on November 28th (Black Friday).

Author’s Take

The theme of the shoe had potential, but the execution could have been better. I wanted to like the shoe, but I don’t think it’s a pair I see myself picking up.

The Air Jordan 13 White/True Red May Come With An OG Box

Although it’s not slated to release until the Spring of 2017, word is going around that when the Air Jordan 13 White/True Red ends up dropping it will come inside the shoe’s OG box.

The Air Jordan 13 in the White and True Red colorway has always been a fan favorite, so there’s no doubt in my mind that when the shoe releases next year it will be greeted with high anticipation. Done in a simple yet clean White and Red aesthetics, the two-toned make up of the shoe takes care of the majority of the leather upper. White tumbled leather is paired up with Red suede to give the shoe that classic motif we all know and love. In addition the shoe comes with Black accents throughout as well as the carbon fiber hits on the outsole noted on the new images above. Hologram branding on the heel, and the dot stitched pattern on the panels complete the look of the shoe. Oh yeah, peep the box in the picture? Would you like to see it return as well? Visit our Air Jordan 13 White/True Red hub page for more info and images regarding this Spring 2017 drop.

Author’s Take

Not bad, not bad at all. I don’t own any 13s, but I wouldn’t be inclined in owning this pair.

More Images Of The Air Jordan 6 GS Navy Suede

We got our first look at the Air Jordan 6 GS Navy Suede about two weeks ago. Not much info/images have leaked ever since. Today that changes as a brand new collection of images show the shoe from various different angles.

The GS version of the Air Jordan 6 takes the tonal route as a Navy Blue suede takes care of the entire base of the shoe. Keeping the monochromatic look going is the additional Navy noted in areas such as the plastic tongue, laces, lining, branding and lace lock. Below you will find a White/Navy midsole that adds nice contrast, all while sitting on top of a clear translucent outsole. Thought on this version of the Jordan 6? Would you have liked to see this model in adult sizes? I know I would. Stay tuned as a release date is sure to surface.

Author’s Take

Big fan of Navy Blue shoes, if this was a adult colorway I probably would have picked up a pair.

Javier Baez Wins The Game For The Cubs Wearing Air Jordan 1 Cleats

If you caught game 1 of the NLDS series between the San Francisco Giants and the Chicago Cubs last night then you witnessed Javier Baez knock it out of the park in the bottom of the 8th inning in what ended up being the game winning home-run.

The third baseman for the Cubs was wearing a very interesting pair of cleats as you can see in the pictures above. Baez laced up a custom pair of Air Jordan 1 cleats that was created using the Gold Medal colorway that released earlier this year. The special cleats were made by Custom Cleats Inc.

What are your thoughts on the cleats? Are you a fan of how they came out? Let us know in the comments below.

Drake Seen Wearing A Jordan Retro That Doesnt Release Until December

As Drake continues his Summer Sixteen Tour, he continues to wear some Jordan Brand gems that many of us can’t get a hold of unless we’re willing to pay a pretty penny. The Canadian rapper recently shared a photo on Instagram where he’s seen wearing a pair of Jordan retros that we will be able to get our hands on later this year.

Seen in the picture above, Drizzy is rocking the Air Jordan 16 Midnight Navy that will be making its official return on December 22nd. The Air Jordan 16 was last seen in 2008 as part of a CDP Pack. Who plan on scooping up a pair come December? Remember that this retro will be more expensive that most as it is expected to be priced at $250.

Be sure to visit our Air Jordan 16 Midnight Navy hub page for all the latest images and info regarding this upcoming release.

Author’s Take

I?m biased towards the silhouette and even though it looks somewhat boring, the colorway is a classic. I?m not really into it that much yet, but, I?ll still probably purchase since it?s a simple and clean offering.

Sneakers In 4K: Air Jordan 12 GS Dark Purple Dust (Video)

Depending on who you ask or what you read on the blogs (including ours), the Air Jordan 12 GS Dark Purple Dust was inspired by the Charlotte Hornets or might simply be just another exclusive colorway made for the kids. Regardless on where you stand, I think we can all agree that a larger size of these would definitely be welcome to those who are looking to have every colorway of the Air Jordan 12, not to mention that we might see these on a Jordan Brand athlete that also happens to play for the Hornets like Michael Kidd-Gilchrist or Cody Zeller in the future. We’ll see how the younger sneakerheads react as it drops tomorrow.

The Air Jordan 1 Reverse Shattered Backboard Releases Tomorrow, Will You Cop

The Shattered Backboard theme will be returning to the Air Jordan 1 once again nearly one year after it made its debut. Last year’s Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard received high praise due to its materials and color blocking, and now it makes a return not only on the Air Jordan 1, but also on the Air Jordan 31.

Dubbed the Reverse Shattered Backboards, or as Nike calls them the “Shattered Backboard Away”, this Air Jordan 1 features a premium leather upper that combines Sail, Starfish, and Black and uses the same color blocking as the Air Jordan 1 Chicago but with hits of orange instead of red. Special Shattered Backboard insoles have also been added like the original pair to complete the theme.

The Air Jordan 1 Reverse Shattered Backboard will release on October 8th in men’s sizes (8-12, 13, 14) and GS (3.5Y-7Y) for $160 and $120 respectively. Will you be looking to cop?

The Official Images Of The Jordan Westbrook 0.2 Black Camo

Jordan Westbrook 1 Jordan Westbrook 2 Jordan Westbrook 3 Jordan Westbrook 4 Jordan Westbrook 5 Jordan Westbrook 6

We’re about a week away from the Jordan Westbrook 0.2 Black Camo release date. With the time ticking away, Jordan Brand has decided to share with is the official images of the shoe. If you’re down with Westbrook’s signature lifestyle line with Jordan Brand, this will be your first chance to pick up his second signature sneaker with Jordan Brand.

Said to be influenced by both the Air Force 1 (tooling) and Air Jordan 7 (features under the lacing), the lifestyle sneaker comes dressed in a Black and Camo upper predominantly constructed out of suede. Jumpman branding appears on the heel, while Westbrook logos can be spotted on the tongue. Rounding out the look of the shoe is the White sole unit placed below. With retail price set at $140, will you be picking up a pair on October 15th? Let us know your thoughts on the shoe in the comments below.

via: Nike

Author’s Take

I will not be picking up the Westrbook 0.2 in this colorway or any other colorway. I still don’t understand why Jordan Brand did not give Westbrook his own performance signature line. I don’t see this lifestyle line working in the long run.

First Teaser Look At The Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher

Air Jordan 7 1 Air Jordan 7 2 Air Jordan 7 3

Earlier this year we found out that the Air Jordan 7 would be part of this year’s Nike Doernbecher Freestyle 2016 Collection. Today we give you a first sneak peek at the shoe.

Designed by Damien Phillips, this Air Jordan 7 draws inspiration from his love of playing the guitar as we can see him in cartoon form placed on the translucent outsoles playing a guitar with the words “SUPER” and “EXPLOSIVE.” The cartoon character is also wearing a pair of 7s which may be the Doernbecher 7s that feature a black and red color scheme.

The Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher is expected to release some time in November 2016. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

A black and red Air Jordan 7? I can dig it. I look forward to seeing more pictures of the shoe.

Possibly inspired by the Charlotte Hornets, this colorway of the Air Jordan 12 will be arriving at select Nike/Jordan Brand retailers tomorrow for $140. The shoe features a premium tumbled leather throughout the upper done in Blue Cap. Dark Purple Dust has then been placed on the laces, midsole, outsole, inner liner, heel, and the branding. Author’s Take

If the majority of the shoe was done in white with blue & purple serving as the accent colors it would have looked much better. I?m sure lots of guys would have even picked up a pair.

UNC Proudly Shows Off Their Very Own Air Jordan 31 UNC

Being that the University of North Carolina is Michael Jordan’s alma mater, it was only a matter of time before Jordan Brand gave the school their very own version of the Air Jordan 31. That “time” has finally arrived.

The school’s IG proudly showed off the Jordan 31 rocking the school’s colorway which consists of a White upper offset nicely by the Carolina Blue noted throughout the shoe including the CAROLINA branding on the outsole. The odds of these arriving at retailers are pretty slim, but it’s still pretty cool to see them in pictures, right? Hot or not? Let us know in the comments below.

The Sequel To The Air Jordan 1 Shattered Backboard Drops Tomorrow

This weekend, Jordan Brand will be releasing another retro inspired by Michael Jordan’s ‘For The Love of the Game’ clause that allowed him to play basketball wherever and whenever he wanted to. In the off-season after his rookie season, Nike took MJ overseas to Italy to showcase one of the NBA’s youngest and brightest stars, and Jordan didn’t disappoint, famously soaring through the air for a high-flying dunk only to shatter the backboard. After a well-received Air Jordan 1 “Shattered Backboard” released last year, the Jumpman altered the colorway a little for the Air Jordan 1 “Reverse Shattered Backboard” slated to release this Saturday, October 8th.

The Reverse Shattered Backboard Jordan 1 features an off-white Sail base for a vintage effect while Starfish orange panels create a near “Chicago” aesthetic. The leather quality was one of the attention-grabbing assets of the first pair, so we’re excited to see if Jordan Brand outdid themselves with the follow-up. A unique shattered backboard graphic hits the insole for a nice added touch. Check out more photos of the Reverse Shattered Backboard Jordan 1 below and grab your pair tomorrow via Nikestore.
