The Air Jordan 12 Deep Royal Blue Will Be A Test For Sneakerheads (Video)

The Air Jordan 12 Deep Royal Blue is a real thing that’s dropping in a few weeks. Coming off the heels of the PSNY x Air Jordan 12 release late last year, it looks like the next stage for the iconic silhouette are monochromatic colorways that will challenge sneakerheads all over the world. Sure, an all-grey Air Jordan 12 is easy to match with any outfit, but what about the Deep Royal Blue? With a suede and leather upper in a shade of blue that would make any Chicago Cubs fan proud, it will be most interesting to see what fits the community comes up with these uniquely colored kicks. It’s not like you can go to a blue-tie affair everyday…

The Air Jordan 1 GS Storm Blue Releases Tomorrow In Europe

We still have to wait a little while longer for the Air Jordan 1 “Storm Blue” to arrive stateside (the original 1985 lifestyle colorway returns on December 23rd in a full family size run for the U.S.) but for those of you living in Europe, you’ll be treated to the Air Jordan 1 Storm Blue tomorrow, November 1st exclusively in a grade school size run.

There are only a few colorways that haven’t seen an official retro in the Jordan Brand archives, and the Air Jordan 1 Storm Blue is one of them. The Kentucky Wildcats-esque colorway features a simple combination of white and a royal blue known here as “Storm Blue” throughout for a simple takedown of the iconic Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG. Classic ‘Nike Air’ branding hits the tongue tag to coincide with the simple yet iconic ‘Wings’ logo on the ankle collar.

While the Air Jordan 1 Storm Blue will play a part in the Jumpman’s Holiday 2016 plans stateside, this is an untraditional rollout that sees grade school sizes dropping first in Europe with more availability to come in the near future. What do you think of this colorway? Check out a better look below and stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.

Author’s Take

The design is pretty clean, although, it seems somewhat generic. The strap obviously defines its aesthetic, and in this colorway, it’s appealing overall. I’m not interested though.

The Alternate Version Of The Air Jordan VII Doernbecher

We’ve known that an Air Jordan 7 “Doernbecher” was on the horizon for months now, but over the weekend we finally got to see official teaser photos of the latest partnership between Nike and the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital for the latest Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. Slated to drop on December 17th, the Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher utilizes a premium construction of black textured leather overlays while a base color of maroon harkens back to the days of the Air Jordan 3 Doernbecher with splashes of Metallic Gold serving as an accent. But did you know that there are alternate samples floating around of an all black pair?

Today we get a look at an Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher Alternate Sample that ditches the premium accents of maroon and Metallic Gold for a simple all black upper with white Jumpman branding. The premium touches of fractal textures still remain on the numerous panel overlays while a marron shade is relegated to the midsole to contrast an icy outsole. What do you think of the look? Check out more detailed shots of the Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher alternate sample below and stay tuned for more of the latest release date updates right here on Sneaker News.

Author’s Take

It’s almost a perfect colorway of the 4. The only thing I’d change would be the color of the outsole. A gum bottom would be perfect on this pair.

Presenting The All-New Jordan Deco Fly Heiress

JORDAN DECA FLY 1 JORDAN DECA FLY 2 JORDAN DECA FLY 3 JORDAN DECA FLY 4 JORDAN DECA FLY 5 JORDAN DECA FLY 6 JORDAN DECA FLY 7

It seems that Jordan Brand has a “thing” for velvet burgundy sneakers this Fall/Winter because they continue to use the rich color scheme on more and more silhouettes.

First it was the Air Jordan 1 (which is already beginning to arrive at select retailers) which will be followed up by the Air Jordan 11 that releases in December. The latest silhouette to join this “Heiress” Collection is a new one known as the Jordan Deco Fly. The new model resembles a trainer and features a velvet, nubuck, and mesh upper done in a rich Night Maroon hue. Metallic Gold is then seen on the Jumpman branding on the ankle and tongue, along with a White outsole.

So what are your thoughts on the all-new Jordan Deca Fly “Heiress”? You can find this shoe at select retailers now for $100.

Author’s Take

Even though this is a women’s sneaker, I actually like it. It might just be the colorway, but I think it looks pretty dope.

Were You Able To Pick Up The Air Jordan 4 Premium Ginger This Morning

Air Jordan 4 1 Air Jordan 4 2 Air Jordan 4 3

The Air Jordan 4 dropped this morning in another premium colorway. Were you able to cop? As of writing this the shoe is already sold out on the Nike SNKRS app as well as a bunch of other retailers that made it available.

We know that the biggest bash on this sneaker was its $400 price tag, but apparently a good amount of people liked the shoe enough to dish out the money for it. I personally was one of those people that did like it, but $400 is a little too steep for me right now. The materials and colorways are very nice though, and you have to give Jordan Brand props for creating a nice Fall-inspired sneaker. If you’re still on the hunt you may be able to track a pair down at select retailers/boutiques. Let us know down below if you copped.
