Last offered in Bronze, the Air Jordan 5 is expected to return in 2017 with this new colorway of olive/tan.

Elevated with more lifestyle appeal, the basketball sneaker is revamped with a premium upper covered in dark olive green, while tan leather tongues further add luxe flair, as well as complementing its overall scheme perfectly. Other notable details include its traditional mesh netting on the sides panels refined in a more minimalist finish, as it’s topped off with waxed rope laces and icy translucent outsoles.

In the next few weeks we’ll be seeing a couple of different colorways of the Air Jordan 9 arrive at retailers. First we’ll see the Kobe Bryant PE colorway release a week from today, which will be followed up by this OG White/Black/True Red colorway in early December.

Earlier this week we were informed that Jordan Brand is now referring to this OG colorway of the Air Jordan 9 as the Space Jam colorway since Michael Jordan wore it in the actual movie 20 years ago. I’m not sure whether or not the new name is going to help its sales, or if anyone really cares, but we’re sure that fans of the silhouette are excited to see this colorway make a return.

Jordan Brand pulled out all the stops for Veteran’s Day as they’re laceinh up their basketball athletes in a variety of exclusive PE sneakers.

Up above we take a look at the Jordan Brand Veterans Day PE Collection that includes special camouflage colorways of the Air Jordan 16, Air Jordan 31, Jordan CP3.X, Jordan Melo M12, and the Jordan Super.Fly 5. Every pair was designed in two different camo colorways of desert camo and green camo. Jordan Brand athletes wore these sneaker during last night’s NBA games and will continue to do so throughout the weekend.

Noted as a GS exclusive colorway, this Air Jordan 12 features a combination of Wolf Grey and Cool Grey on the tumbled leather upper as well as on the inner liner, laces, mudguard, heel, midsole, and outsole. The shades of grey are broken up by hits of Vivid Pink on the branding that appear on the tongue, heel, and side panels.

The Air Jordan 12 GS Vivid Pink will be arriving at retailers a week from today on November 19th 2016 for a retail price of $140. Any ladies plan on scooping up a pair?

Last week we brought you new images of this new colorway of the Air Jordan 12 that doesn’t have many details at the moment. We now return with more detailed pictures of the shoe as well as a possible theme/story behind the colorway.

This colorway of the Air Jordan 12 is believed to be a special pair that celebrates Chinese New Year, which will take place on Saturday, January 28th 2017. Looking at this colorway of the Air Jordan 12, we see that it features a 3M white leather upper which is then contrasted by black detailing on the outsole, mudguard, inner liner, and the special tagging on the tongues, which reads ???? that translates to the number ?12? in Chinese. The mudguard features textured detailing along with wood accents on the upper eyelets, aglets, and the branding on the side panels.

I don’t know about y’all, but I can’t wait for the Air Jordan 3 True Blue to drop. If you were to ask me to name my top 3 Air Jordan of all time, this pair would easily make the list. I own the pair that dropped a few years back, but the paint chipping on the midsole and the yellowing on the heel tab suggest it’s time to re-up on a fresh new pair. As a cherry on top, Jordan Brand blesses the True Blue 3s with Nike Air branding on the heel, which is usually more than enough of a reason for people to want to buy a pair or two. Last year’s release of the PSNY x Air Jordan 12 brought on that dope tonal look that the Air Jordan 12 wasn’t really prone to. Typically, the AJ12 takes on the two-toned look because the design makes it conducive to that contrasting look, but whatever the color-blocking is, the shoe just looks that good. Tomorrow’s release of the Air Jordan 12 “Deep Royal” exemplifies just that, with a Don C-esque full blue capturing the silhouette that MJ won his 5th NBA title with.

In two colorways each, the 16 and 31 each receive a tan desert camo and olive woodland camo, while the SuperFly 5 receives the same two color schemes and Chris Paul’s latest signature appears in the desert camo only. All four models will be worn by Jordan Brand athletes across the NBA for tonight’s schedule of games. Jordan Brand surprised us all this morning by releasing the Air Jordan 11 Suede at Concepts NYC and Kith Brooklyn without any type of warning.

The shoes were only available in-store, so if you weren’t local to the area you really had no chance at picking up a pair. Featuring a Cool Grey premium suede upper, this Air Jordan 11 also comes with leather laces, a debossed Jumpman logo by the ankle, leather quilted insoles, and a semi translucent outsole.

Anyone in New York able to pick up a pair this morning? The retail price for these was $400, just like the most of the other Pinnacle releases that Jordan Brand has released these past two years. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates on a potential wider release.

We miss the old Kobe, the 35 points per game Kobe, the Huarache & occasional Jays Kobe. You get the point. The Black Mamba is now celebrating his historic career through venture capitalism and the Nike Kobe AD. The parallels between Michael Jordan and Kobe are eerily familiar – you’ve seen the videos of Kobe mimicking MJ’s fadeaway, dribble drives, and up-and-unders by now. Jordan Brand is honoring the legendary no.24 with a brand new release in the upcoming Air Jordan 9 Kobe Bryant on November 19th for $190 USD.

The Air Jordan 9 “Kobe” mimics a random sample that appeared back in 2010, although the particular shade of purple found on the patent leather mudguard is a bit more Laney-like than initially expected thanks to the inclusion of the Jumpman’s iconic Concord hue. The leather upper is accented by metallic silver lace eyelets for premium effect while Lakers’ Tour yellow arrives on the branding and ’23’ PE branding (no, these won’t have any official homage to the Black Mamba in the form of no.8 and no.24 shoutouts). Still, the fact that the Jumpman is giving us a general release of a sought after Jordan 9 Kobe PE from year’s past this Holiday 2016 season is reason enough to be excited.
