Jordan Brand will be giving us a double dose of releases tomorrow for Cyber Monday. In addition to the Top 3 colorway of the Air Jordan 1 that hits retailers, we’ll also be seeing the first luxurious colorway of the Jordan 31 hit shelves.

Dubbed the Air Jordan 31 Black Cat, this premium version of the 31 does away with the Flyweave and smooth leather upper and replaces them with suede and a quilted leather around the ankle. Other details include Nike Air branding on the tongue, a leather Swoosh, and the removal of the Jumpman logo on the ankle. Down below we have a Sail sole unit that adds some contrast to the shoe.

Look for the Air Jordan 31 Black Cat to release on Nike SNKRS tomorrow at 10AM EST for a retail price of $200.

I’m not sure if it’s the colorway or the materials, but I prefer the Flyweave version instead. I think if some contrasted was added on the upper it could have looked better.

After thinking long and hard about it, I don’t think this is a model I’d wear much or often. I would pick up a pair for display purposes only since the 3 colorways used on the shoe truly are iconi on the Jordan 1. But to wear, this will have to be a pass.

Did you know that actor Mark Wahlberg has a pretty impressive sneaker collection?

Usually seen rocking some of the best and rarest Air Jordans out there, Mark recently decided to stunt on the gram by showcasing one of his latest pickups. In the picture above we see Wahlberg with the Air Jordan 11 Suede that released by surprise a couple of weeks back. The caption on the picture reads “Christmas comes early when you’re part of the brand.#teamjordan.” So it seems that Mark didn’t have to wait in line or pay the crazy $400 price for this pair of 11s, instead he’s well connected with the brand.
