While we’ve already seen the AJ 9, AJ 6 and even an exclusive rendition of the AJ 11 transformed into a golf cleat, the iconic Air Jordan 1, more than 30 years after its initial debut, is now reinvented for the golf course.
With Michael Jordan known to be an advocate for the sport as well, interestingly, Michael started his interest in golf during 1984, the exact same year Nike started to develop the Air Jordan 1.
This limited offering essentially stays true to the silhouette’s iconic profile, although, with a few notable changes, such as extra padding to provide additional comfort and support around the ankle, Jumpman logo on the tongue, a fully waterproof upper and a Nike Free-inspired outsole with soft spikes which adds more depth to the overall profile.
You can purchase this exclusive silhouette in two colorways (white/black/varsity red and white/metallic silver) starting this Friday, Feb. 10th at select Nike and JB retailers, as well as online.
