Who’s down for more premium Jordan retros? If you prefer the finer things in life and don’t mind spending a couple hundred more dollars for a pair of shoes, get a first look at the Air Jordan 5 Premium Triple Black.

Scheduled to follow up the Air Jordan 5 Pure Platinum dropping this weekend, this premium version of the Air Jordan 5 also comes in tonal fashion but instead opts for an all-Black look. The shoe is constructed out of a premium leather upper, which also happens to include the lining of the shoe as well as the midsole (right?). Distinct features on the shoe include the ribbed paneling placed on both the side panels where you usually find the plastic netting, and the tongue to help give it a but more of a luxe feel. Additional premium features include the carbon fiber-like eyelets, embossed branding, the  ?Flight? tongue tag and the smokey translucent outsole. Retail price will be $400 and is expect to release during the month of July. Will you be picking up a pair?

Earlier this month we got our first look at the sample Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High Chicago. Today we get an even closer look at the sneaker many of you want to see drop. Will it? Only time will tell.

The Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High sample comes in a Chicago color scheme where the shoe is mostly done in a Red, White and Black color scheme. Although it does use those three colors, so many more features and details are incorporated on to the design. The end-result is kind of like a deconstructed finish that kind of has a “blueprint” design feel to them, if that makes any sense. Additional OFF-WHITE and Nike/Jordan branding throughout the shoe, extra stitching and labeling a Swoosh that does not appear to be stitched on to the upper and an array of different materials used on the upper are just some of the reasons why this Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High Chicago is one of a kind. The Air Jordan 5 Premium “Pure Platinum” is set to release this weekend featuring that luxurious Pinnacle-esque construction for $400. That won’t be the last time we see the lifestyle revamp of Michael Jordan’s fifth signature silhouette either, as rumors are swirling surrounding this Air Jordan 5 Premium Triple Black, slated to arrive at shops come July 2017. The pair boasts a slightly altered construction when compared to previous Jordan 5 Premium options, as the deconstructed mesh side panel ventilation system is now ribbed to match the ribbed tongue for added texture. The overall height of the tongue looks to be diminished too to coincide with that updated ‘Flight’ lace lock system. What do you think of the look? Are you still on the hunt for a pair of the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 at retail? Well, it looks like you’re going to have at least one more chance at scooping up a pair for $350 instead of the ridiculous resell prices that have the shoe at $1,800+. Here’s what you need to know if your’e trying to pick up a pair.

Not too long ago KAWS reported that the highly anticipated collab between Jordan Brand and himself would be releasing once more through his online site, KAWSONE.com. The initial announcement simply told us that if we wanted info on how to get a pair we simply had to sign up to his mailing list where we would be getting info and details on the release of the KAWS x Air Jordan 4 sometime this week. The info and details on how to get a pair have recently been announced.

Here’s what the announcement on the latest email reads:

Log on to KAWSONE.com on Friday, April 21st at 12PM EST to register your chance to buy the items.

Is Carmelo Anthony‘s tenure in New York over? Knicks GM Phil Jackson is doing his best to smear the All-Star forward at any chance he gets while trying to prop up the remnants of the triangle offense, but due to Melo’s no trade clause, Phil and James Dolan are going to have a tough situation on their hands. We still expect this Jordan Melo M13 Knicks to be the last pair to ever feature a Knickerbockers theme as Carmelo is likely to move on to greener pastures elsewhere in search of his first championship and his first playoff appearance in over half a decade. There will be plenty of championship contenders willing to make it work, but that superstar-esque contract still stands in the way of Melo joining the likes of the Cavs, Clippers, and any other pre-approved destination where he could team up with his superfriends.

The Jordan Melo M13, meanwhile, is one of the best Melo signatures we’ve seen in quite some time. The unique Flight Web system reminds us of the wardrobe from Michael Keaton’s Birdman with an aggressive cage made up of a feather-like overlay system. That diamond texture extends to the responsive Flight Speed midsole complete with Zoom Air on the ball of your foot. As Melo’s time as a superstar carrying a team is probably over, do you see his signature line continuing next season? Or do you think a veteran Carmelo used strictly as an offensive weapon in a role position would fair better rocking the latest signature Jordan and breaking out some retro PEs? Only time will tell. The Air Jordan 13/14 Defining Moments Pack celebrates Michael Jordan’s final championship run. It comes with special versions of both the Air Jordan 13 and Air Jordan 14 since both were worn by MJ himself during his sixth and final NBA championship. The Air Jordan 13 comes with a White leather upper contrasted by the Metallic Gold accents on the midsole, heel and mudguard region. Additional notable features include the special hologram showing an image of Jordan as well as the year he was his final championship (98). The inside of the tongue comes with the phrase “THEY CAN’T WIN” (left) “UNTIL WE QUIT” (right), which is definitely a nice touch on the shoe. The Air Jordan 14 opts for a Black leather finish that’s also contrasted by Metallic Gold hits said to be a nod to the Larry O?Brien NBA championship trophy. The shoe will come in special packaging consisting of a special box that features a print of  the drawn-up play of the “Last Shot”. June 14th. $500. Thoughts?

Although it still doesn’t have a release date, today we get an on-feet look at the Air Jordan 5 Camo we hope releases sometime in the near future. A brand new iteration of the model, this version of the Jordan 5 comes with an Olive/Grey suede upper accented by the Red hits noted on the lining, branding and the shark teeth on the midsole. Giving the shoe a unique motif is the camo 3M Reflective detailing on the tongue and heel wrap. Additional features include the special branding on the heel and the icy translucent outsole. Set to release this weekend is this premium iteration of the Jordan 5. Opting to keep it’s premium aesthetics subtle and minimal, the Air Jordan 5 Premium Pure Platinum comes with an upper done in a Pure Platinum leather offset by the woven leather hits placed on the paneling. Additional premium features include the leather tongue, embossed Jumpman branding and what appears to be a leather construction on the midsole. Did you peep that custom lace lock, too? Dropping at the end of the month is this GS-exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 7. Today we hit you with the shoe’s official images to help you decide whether this could be your next potential pick up.

The Air Jordan 7 GS Hyper Pink comes in a Black and Hyper Pink color scheme. The base of the shoe consists of a Black leather upper done in both smooth and tumbled leather. The tonal look of the shoe is then offset by the hits of Hyper Pink placed on areas such as the branding, heel and outsole. Additional features on the shoe include the Black laces, Black midsole and icy outsole. Releasing on April 29th for the retail price of $140, how many small-footers are looking forward to this release?

Today marks the 31st anniversary of one of Michael Jordan’s greatest playoff performances, as he dropped 63 points in a double overtime loss to Larry Bird’s Celtics all the way back in 1986. It’s only right then that Jordan Brand’s own MVP Russell Westbrook have his own version of that game last night. As per usual, the triple-double machine carried the entire Thunder squad to what seemed like a Game 2 victory late in the 3rd quarter, only to have his teammates blow the lead when he went to take a breather minutes later. OKC would go on to lose in regulation, but that doesn’t discredit Westbrook’s ridiculous line of 51 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists. Rus might look like a machine on-court, but even machines need to refuel, and he just ran out of gas. He went just 4/18 from the field in the final quarter. When asked about his historic game, Westbrook responded in only a way he can. We won’t repeat it here but just watch the video below for his response. Rus also broke out one of our favorite Jordan 31 PEs, a tri-colored combination of the Thunder’s Photo Blue on the heel mixed with a black to orange woven gradient throughout. Of course, this was accompanied by the Air Jordan 30 outsole for a PE hybrid with a galaxy print on the midsole shank. It was a game for the ages, but the Rockets were a better team. Jordan Brand will celebrated Michael Jordan’s 1998 NBA Championship with the upcoming Air Jordan DMP Pack, releasing in adult and kids sizes on June 14th. During that ’98 Finals series against the Utah Jazz, Michael Jordan rode the Air Jordan 13 for the first four and a half games before switching to the Air Jordan 14 for the second half of Game 5 and all of Game 6. MJ then led the Bulls from behind, sealing his sixth Championship with a play simply known as the “Last Shot”.

The Air Jordan 13/14 DMP Pack features both silhouettes dressed in white and black, anchored by gold accents. Compared to DMP releases of the past, this year’s offering is a lot more subtle and aims to tell the story of Jordan’s victory through simple color-blocking rather than the ornate designs from the past.

University blue makes up the sneaker?s nubuck upper, which also reflects as a tribute to Michael Jordan?s alma mater, University of North Carolina. Contrasting accents of white are placed on the ?23? branded heel, tongue and Jumpman branding on its ankle, while a white sole unit completes the design overall.
