How Many Of You Got Early Access To The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Royal

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Royal is less than 48 hours away, but it seems like Nike gave a couple of us early access to this highly anticipated release. Just like they’ve done several times in the past, Nike provided early access to the shoe by providing a code to unlock the release. Only thing is, this code is only given to select users. How they decide who to give the code to remains unknown.

How do you find out if you got a code? Log into your Nike account here and click on unlock, if you’re given a access code, you’re in the clear!. Rumors are also going around that if you weren’t given access to the shoe you can try to log out and log back in and sometimes the access code is provided the second time around. Give it a shot, you have nothing to lose.

For the rest of us, the shoe drops at select Nike retailers on April 1st (Saturday) for $160. This has to be a must-cop, right?

Be sure to click and bookmark our official Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Royal (2017) launch page now for additional imagery, the latest info and release details.

Notable elements include the iconic wings logo across its collar and Jumpman branding on the tongues.

Priced at $110, this pair is currently available at select Nike and Jordan Brand retailers nationwide now.

Inital Look At The Air Jordan 5 Camo

With camouflage last appearing on the Air Jordan 5 via the Supreme collaboration last year, it seems that Jordan Brand will be offering another camo iteration of the silhouette this season.

These leaked images showcase the sneaker with a premium grey suede upper and the defining camouflage detail gracing its tongue, as well as the heel wrap. In addition, vibrant red accents adorn the lining, branded tongues, midsole and distinctive logo on the heel for a complementing finish. Finally, an icy translucent outsole caps off the design.

Official Images: Air Jordan 1 Mid New Love 2017

With the announcement of its return last month, official imagery of the Air Jordan 1 Mid New Love (2017) is now revealed, as it was notably a part of the classic Air Jordan 1 Mid ?Old Love, New Love? Pack from 2007.

While the 2007 OG counterpart incorporated a jeweled wings logo across its ankle, the 2017 version features the iconic symbol in a traditional stamp. Overall, the sneaker maintains its classic color scheme with a black and yellow upper.

Further detailed with Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel, the silhouette is topped off with a white midsole unit and a slightly translucent yellow outsole.

Blake Griffin To Wear Custom Jordan Super.Fly 5 To Benefit Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles

Blake Griffin has teamed up with 11-year old Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles patient Justice Griffith to create a custom Jordan Super.Fly 5 that BG will lace up against the Wizards tonight. The pair is nicknamed the “Just 5” and will be auctioned off after the game with all proceeds being donated to the CHLA in honor of the annual Make March Matter fundraising celebration.

This original Jordan SuperFly 5 Just 5 features the running five motif given that five represents ‘power’ in numerology. Justice Griffith is currently battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia and has been a frequent patient at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, but that hasn’t deterred his love of all things sports. ?CHLA is an amazing organization and this was a cause I was excited to be involved with,? Blake said. ?I was lucky to get to know Justice and impressed by how he knew exactly how he wanted the ?Just 5? to look like. I can?t wait to show it off on the court and help raise money for CHLA patients like Justice who need help.?

You can bid on the pair right now through April 13th via Clippers.com/auction.

Air Jordan 1 Royal Wedges Anyone

Remember those Air Jordan 1 Wedges in the Bred colorway we shared with you last month? Well, it looks there’s also a Royal version of the hybrid one. If Jordan wedges are your steeze, check out the Air Jordan 1 Royal Wedges you see above.

Recently shared by Jordan Brand’s Global Communications Specialist Samantha Baker, the Air Jordan 1 Royal Wedge is said to be an exclusive design that Jordan Brand has no intentions of releasing. Rocking the some color scheme as the upcoming Jordan 1 High Royals, the main difference is that the basketball silhouette is transformed into a wedge. Now you know I have to ask this question: How many of you ladies would be down to pick up a pair of the Jordan 1 Wedge if Jordan Brand ever decided to make the available?

Camo Prints Return To The Air Jordan 5

We first saw camouflage uppers on the Air Jordan 5 thanks to a memorable collaboration with Supreme back in 2015. It appears that a different style of the army-grade graphics are returning on the silhouette, but only on select locations of the shoe. The heel and tongue take on the camo prints while the rest of the shoe take on a grey suede upper, a red lining. and the signature translucent sole. There’s also a unique logo on the heel that we’ve yet to see on an Air Jordan shoe. A Girls-exclusive colorway of this same exact style in grey and pink is releasing as well. Stay tuned for updates on our Jordan release dates page.

Theres Something New About The Air Jordan 1 Mid New Love Retro

air-jordan-1-mid-new-love-2017-retro-official-photos-01

We’re all currently focused on how we’re grabbing a pair of the Royal 1s this weekend, but there’s more good news on the horizon for you Air Jordan 1 lovers out there: the Air Jordan 1 Mid “New Love” will be getting a proper retro ten years after it originally dropped in 2007 in the not-so-distant future.

There is a bit of difference here though when compared to a preview from not so long ago: that ‘Wings’ ankle collar branding no longer features that transparent plastic pendant stitched into place that was found on the original 2007 release and instead, the ‘Wings’ get the traditional stamp of approval like so many AJ1 Highs today. We still don’t have an official Release Date yet, but check out a full detailed look at the Jordan 1 Mid New Love below and stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.

The Air Jordan 1 Mid has always seemed like the unloved stepchild of the Air Jordan 1 line. The lows have always been a great summer staple recently revamped by the OG rendition getting prime Wings placement on the heel. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG of course, features all of the 1985 original branding complete with ‘Nike Air’ stamps of approval on the tongue tag and more, and Jordan Brand continues to bring our favorite original colorways back in an act of valor. But what about the Mid? Today one of the best releases in the mid-top’s history gets an official look featuring that head-turning Wu-Tang Clan-esque finish of Black and Varsity Maize while Jumpman branding returns to the heel and tongue.
