Last summer we let you know that Nike would be bringing back the Nike Air Trainer 1 Shima Shima. Today we follow up that news with the announcement that the Nike Air Max 1 Shima Shima will also be making a return this year.

The original Nike Air Max 1 Shima Shima made its debut back in 2003 as part of Nike’s Shima Shima pack. That pack include three Nike Dunk Highs as well as two Nike Air Max 1 all done in Japanese inspired-colorways. The Nike Air Max 1 Shima Shima 2023 will not be the exact design of either Air Max 1s from the 2003 pack, rather a combination/mix of said two original colorways. Shown below, the sneaker is done in a Sail/Baroque Brown-Neutral Grey color scheme. Details include Japanese-themed tongue tags, a striped sock liner, a leather base and suede overlays. A White midsole and two-tone rubber outsole complete the look.

As of right now the Nike Air Max 1 Shima Shima 2023 does not have an official release date but current reports suggest that these will be dropping in the coming months exclusively in Europe.

In other release news, the Air Jordan 1 High 85 Black White is slated to drop next month.

Sometime during the fall of 2023, Nike will be dropping special colorway of the Nike Air Max Penny 1 inspired by Penny Hardaway?s Lester Middle School in Memphis. Penny has a long history and connection with Memphis. Aside from playing for the University of Memphis in college, Hardaway coached the Lester Lions basketball team in the 2010s before taking the Memphis job.

Yet to be unveiled, the Nike Air Max Penny 1 Lester Middle School will be dressed in Penny’s school’s colors. Though not an official collaboration with the middle school, the sneaker is expected to look similar to the OG Black and Royal pair, with the major difference being Yellow hits replacing the Royal Blue ones. The mockup below gives you an idea of what the shoe could end up looking like.

Retailing for $180, look for the Nike Air Max Penny 1 Lester Middle School to release during the fall of 2023 at select retailers and Nike.com.

Below you will get a first look at this Nike Air Force 1 Low that is given a split theme. The split concept give Nike model’s split design on certain areas of the shoe. Let’s get a closer look to give you a better understanding.

This iteration of the Nike Air Force 1 Low Split comes dressed in different shades of Grey that result in a bit of a Greyscale aesthetic. The sneaker comes constructed in a full leather upper with mesh used on the tongues and lining. Details include a White leather base paired with Grey overlays that is then detailed with the aforementioned split theme on the Swooshes, tongue labels, heels, insoles, and outsole. Completing the look is the vintage-styled midsole.

Like glow in the dark features on your kicks? How about a Nike Dunk Low that comes with glows in the dark features virtually everywhere? That’s exactly what this Nike Dunk Low arrives with.

Currently known as the Nike Dunk Low Glow in the Dark, this bold iteration of the Dunk Low is covered in a Volt upper that is constructed out of a shiny base and leather overlays. Elsewhere you will find White on the mesh tongues, laces, and midsole along with Black hits on the Swooshes, Orange heels, and Neon Green lining. The aforementioned glow-in-the-dark hits land throughout the upper as well as on the outsole. Orange hits on the heel tab and tongue branding round out the main features of the sneaker.

The Nike Air Trainer 1 will be receiving a timeless white and black colorway for its latest iteration which is suggested to make its debut in the coming weeks ahead. Clean and simple, the classic model boasts a white leather construction that is detailed with perforations on the toe box. Finally, the highlight black accent is prominent on the Swooshes, branded areas, and rubber outsole to solidify the two-tone profile.

The Nike Air More Uptempo OG in its classic black and white colorway was last offered in 2020, and it’s scheduled to return to retailers this year, according to reports. Overall, the basketball silhouette boasts its familiar black nubuck upper while the signature enlarged “AIR” lettering is outlined across its side panels in white. Additionally, while the 2020 edition is featured below, the 2023 retro will feature the same OG makeup as a black midsole featuring the distinct Air cushioning throughout rounds out the design.
