Nike Air Max Day takes places on March 26th and it looks like the Swoosh will be celebrating it in a big way this year.

A new page just launched on nike.com advertising what they’re calling “Air Max Con” which will be taking place in New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong. So what exactly is Air Max Con? Here is how Nike describes it.

This multi-day sneaker convention will bring sneaker lovers together on an epic journey through the heritage, design and innovation story of Air Max. Step into the shoes of a designer, meet the Masters of Air and share your experience with the sneaker community.

Sounds like a fun-filled few days that guide you through the history, present and future of Nike’s legendary line. It’s still unclear when Air Max Con will take place, but registration for NYC opens on March 8th. Visit the site here for more information and updates.

Adding to the Light Charcoal colorways of the NikeLab Air Force 1 Low and Mid that we showed you yesterday, we have now found out that Nike will also be releasing a matching NikeLab Air Flight ’89 on the same day.

Utilizing the same light shade of grey as the two pairs of NikeLab Air Force 1s, this NikeLab Air Flight ’89 keeps things tonal on the upper as the shoe uses premium leather all throughout. The only hit of contrast comes courtesy of a White midsole/outsole. Unlike the Air Force 1s, the NikeLab Air Flight ’89 does not come with the icy blue translucent outsole.

You can expect this colorway along with the Urban Haze version to release on March 3rd but if anything changes we’ll be sure to let you know.

I like how Nike/NikeLab are attempting to give us a luxurious take of the Air Flight ’89 but I’m just not a fan of the silhouette no matter the colorway or materials that are used.

The Nike Air Presto has been one of Nike Sportswear’s best bring backs for the past few months, with the neoprene slip-on upper once heralded as a ‘t-shirt for your feet’ returning in a number of awesome OG colorways to restore some nostalgia. Nike Running is showing Lunarlon some love with their upcoming “Lunar Midnight” Pack. Just like the Nike KD 8 Elite that we looked at earlier today, the most eye-catching feature of this Koston 3 Hyperfeel is the extended collar. I’m not really sure how I fee about this shoe. I don’t skateboard but I’d probably need to see it in person to give a better opinion. In pictures it looks very “different.
