The Nike Kobe 11 Sunset consists as the next colorway of the last on-court sneaker of Kobe Bryant’s hall-of-fame career this season.

Composed of an engineered mesh upper, the sneaker’s defining theme consists of a gradient effect, which is essentially reflective of the sunset. Fans of Nike’s late-90s retro running slate will remember the Nike Zoom Spiridon from 1997 and have reason to get excited, as the running model is getting its second retro treatment ever this summer. The full-length Zoom cushioning on the midsole, mesh overlay, and oversized Swoosh branding made this pair a must-have and it’s a bit odd that we haven’t seen a retro release sooner. If you know even a little Nike Air Max history, you know the Air Max BW from 1991. You’re also definitely familiar with the original and iconic “Persian Violet” colorway of the “Big Window” sneaker.
