Author’s Take

I’ve liked a bunch of colorways of the LeBron 13 Low so far, but this one won’t be added to the list. I just don’t think it looks good on the silhouette.

Giancarlo Stanton Wins Home Run Derby Wearing Mike Trouts Nike Signature Cleats

Giancarlo Stanton took home the hardware during last night’s Home Run Derby in San Diego, belting a ridiculous 61 home-runs in three rounds tournament-style play. He took the batter’s box wearing brightly-colored Nike cleats, which happen to be a special colorway of Mike Trout’s latest signature shoe with Nike – the Zoom Trout 3. Stanton, undeniably the best power-hitter in the game, wasn’t even selected to be on the All-Star team due to a “down” year, but that didn’t stop him from showing the world that his power is a force to be reckoned with. Check out a recap of last night’s events below.

New NIKEiD Multicolor Options Are Available For The LunarEpic Flyknit Low

We’ve been seeing a lot of multicolor colorways on the new Nike LunarEpic Flyknit Low lately, so it makes perfect sense to see that the runner from Nike has now landed on NIKEiD.

At the moment there is two different multicolor options that you can choose from, one that comes in red/blue and the other green/volt. Both options don’t feature as much color as maybe most of us would have hoped, but those of you that have been waiting for a multicolor option can take full advantage now. If you’re interested you can create a pair now directly from nike.com and it’ll cost you a cool $200.

The more I see this model, the more I like it. I just wish it didn’t come with a Nike Free sole. That’s the deal-breaker for me.

This Set Of Nike Air Force 1s Is Another Tribute To The Dream Team

The Olympic sneaker saga continues with Nike Sportswear’s reference to quite possibly the greatest basketball roster of all time, the Team USA’s 1992 Dream Team, through the release of four premium Nike Air Force 1 colorways. Nikes Sequel To The Magista Football Boot Is Coming Soon

Nike focussed on creating a football boot so dynamic and lightweight that it could answer the question of ‘what if the foot had actually evolved to play the game of football?’. Designer Phil Woodman returned to answer that question with the Nike Magista 2, the latest soccer silhouette featuring a mid collar and the evolution of Nike’s coveted Flyknit technology. Created with the attempt to be an organic extension of the foot, Nike made the boot as lightweight as possible by mapping the Flyknit in a completely new way through the use of negative space. The Nike Magista 2 utilizes a new Dynamic Fit Collar, skipping out on the normal tongue construction so that the silhouette could utilize a light padding under the laces for added coverage to one of the foot’s most highly contacted areas. The “Heat Map” colorway actually mirrors the set of data collected when Woodman and Nike studied the foot’s high contact areas when playing the game of soccer – the darker the Flyknit section, the more likely the foot will contact the ball there. The Nike Magista 2 will be available July 24th on the Nike Football App. Check out a detailed look below and stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.
