I like it. The blend looks nicely done and I’m pretty biased towards the colorway as well. It’s something familiar but a bit different, and still a solid offering.

Release Reminder: Nike KD 9 Premiere

Nike KD 9 Premier 3 Nike KD 9 Premier 1 Nike KD 9 Premier 2 Nike KD 9 Premier 4 Nike KD 9 7 Nike KD 9 6 Nike KD 9 5

In less than an hour the NBA free agency period officially gets underway and players can (verbally) agree to terms with an NBA team and then sign next week (July 8th). Kevin Durant is the biggest fish out on the lake as he’ll have to decide between staying in OKC or playing for another team for the first time in his career. Warriors? Spurs? Celtics? Clippers? Heat? We’ll have to wait and find out. Personally I hope he stays with the Thunder cause I know there’s no chance he can sign with my Raptors at this point. Haha.

What we do know for certain is that KD will be playing for Team USA in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. He is the clear cut leader of the team and he’ll hope to bring the gold home with him. What sneakers will he be wearing? Well the all-new Nike KD 9 of course. Tomorrow we’ll see this patriotic KD 9 arrive at retailers that features a white Flyknit upper with complementing accents done in University Red and Royal Blue.

Retailing for $150, is the Nike KD 9 Premiere/USA a pass or cop for you tomorrow?

via: Sole Heaven

Author’s Take

I love the new Flyknit upper on the KD 9 but I’m not too excited about this colorway. I look forward to seeing future colorways and hopefully I’ll pick up a pair.

Nike Presents The SBxFB Collection, Where Skating Meets Soccer

Nike 2 Nike 1 Nike 3

Nike has taken three popular Nike SB models and given them some soccer inspiration. This isn’t anything new as Nike has been known to do this in the past.

The Swoosh has taken the Nike SB P-Rod 9 Elite, Nike SB Stefan Janoski, and the Nike SB Eric Koston and given them new leather uppers with quilted and perforated detailing. The pack which is known as the SBxFB collection is scheduled to release via Nike SNKRS on July 6 at 10 a.m. EST.

Are you interested in picking up any of these next week?

via: Nike

Author’s Take

I’m not a huge fan of any of these silhouettes but it’s definitely cool to see Nike give each silhouette a new look. Each show now has more of a lifestyle look to it.

Vachetta Tan Leather Covers The Nike Air Trainer 2

Nike Air Trainer 2 1 Nike Air Trainer 2 2 Nike Air Trainer 2 3

The Vachetta Tan “trend” has slowed down considerably after seeing lots of sneakers dressed up in the luxurious colorway over the last year or so. Attempting to bring back the trend is the Nike Air Trainer 2.

Signature sneaker of all-time sports great Bo Jackson, this new colorway of the Nike Air Trainer 2 ditches the “athletic” look and instead goes for some lifestyle appeal by being covered in a beautiful Vachetta Tan leather upper with mesh detailing on the side panels. A white sole unit then wraps things up along with white laces and orange branding.

You can purchase a pair now from select Nike retailers for $110.

via: Lapstone & Hammer

Author’s Take

The Vachetta Tan leather upper looks nice, but the mesh netting and orange branding just don’t look like they belong.

Our First Look At The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Hyperfeel

The Nike SB Stefan Janoski has become a classic in the short amount of years that it has existed. Although the OG Janoski isn’t considered a classic when it comes to the amount of time it has existed, Nike continues to find ways to improve the shoe. Their latest venture has them create the Nike SB Stefan Janoski Hyperfeel.

The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Hyperfeel is a newer version of the model that improves the skater’s boardfeel. Adding a Hyperfeel sole to the shoe does just that. Other new features placed on the shoe include the gusseted tongue, drop-in Lunarlon midsole and thin web rubber cupsole. So not only does the shoe perform better, it also feels better. Available now, pick up this and four other colorways for the retail price of $100 each.

Author’s Take

What’s not to love. Great additions to the shoe. I’m just surprised it took this long to do it.
