A woven textile overlay encompassing the silhouette provides a subdued, yet eye-catching element, as the model is rounded out with a white midsole unit and gum accents on the heel.

Author’s Take

I’m really a sucker for this colorway. The silhouette itself is stylish as well, so it’s a really attractive pair. If you’re in the market for something different, this is a nice option.

Nike Almost Called The Roshe Two Something Much Different

Ahead of their launch tomorrow, Nike SNKRS takes a behind the scenes look at the production of the all-new Nike Roshe Two. With the shoe’s designer Dylan Raasch offering some insight, the story of the updated Roshe is told with one big surprise: it was originally not intended to be the official sequel to the Roshe, but just another update to the zen sneaker design. The Roshe Two began as the “Roshe Plush”, an updated version of the original with even more comfort and soft feel. The plush feel was achieved with a full redesigned upper featuring an even more sock-like construction and fit, paired with a dual-density foam outsole with added flexibility to make you feel like you’re walking on clouds.

Check out the full story behind the Roshe Two from Nike SNKRS, and don’t forget that the shoe arrives tomorrow, September 1st for both men and women at select Nike Sportswear retailers.

Nike Air Force 1 Mid Light Bone

Bruce Kilgore’s iconic Nike Air Force 1 has seen its fair share of updates recently, from the new Flyknit construction to Ultra outsole tooling that cut down on that vintage weight given the shoe’s three-decade run as a lifestyle go-to. The latest Nike Air Force 1 Mid pair is a casual near all-white-everything but instead of the iconic white on white look, the upper swaps in a Light Bone for a minor change.

This Air Force 1 Mid benefits from suede panels throughout for an added premium finish while a simple and elegant White Swoosh branding matches the midsole/outsole unit. What do you think of the look? Grab your pair today from spots like Titolo.

Is Nike Releasing Another Huarache ACG Pack

Back in 2007, Nike Sportswear released the Nike Air Huarache “ACG Pack”, an homage to the crossover appeal of another Tinker Hatfield gem, the Nike ACG Air Mowabb. The trio of Nike Huarache pairs utilized premium constructions and colorways found on the original 1992 run of the Mowabb. While we never expected to get a true and through retro of those colorways, if there was any time to do it, it would’ve been last year when the Mowabb finally saw a retro release.

There’s still hope though, and today we get a look at two upcoming Nike Huarache colorways that look an awful lot like they were inspired by the interesting and eclectic Nike ACG aesthetic. A Gold Leaf and Hyper Cobalt combination ditch any hints of tan, but those accents were originally found on the Nike Mowabb. Throw in a perforated toebox and an aggressively speckled grey midsole, and this look reminds us of the All Conditions Grear imprint and then some.

There’s also a Pure Platinum and Pink Blast combination that’s a bit more subtle than the previous selection. Shades of a vibrant yellow contrast on the heel cage while dashes of different greys create a tonal effect throughout. While this might not be the Nike Huarache “ACG Pack” from 2007, it’s great to see that NSW is still tinkering with new ways to make the Nike Air Huarache retro an exciting offering for Fall 2016. Check out more photos below and stay tuned for more updates right here on Sneaker News.
