Additional detailed images of the upcoming Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 10 Christ The King is showcased once again, as the sneaker is scheduled to arrive in the coming days ahead.

Noted as an homage to one of the top NYC basketball schools — Christ the King High School — the performance basketball sneaker is essentially treated in the school?s respective signature palette, while also coordinating perfectly with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Team Red simply drapes the entire upper, distinctive straps and midsole unit, while subtle pops of metallic gold are prominent on the heel via Swooshes. Finally, a clean white rubber sole unit finishes off its rugged profile.

Priced at $130, you can purchase this pair at select Nike retailers starting Saturday, October 15th.

Author’s Take

The colorway is appealing in general. Although I don?t like the silhouette aesthetically, this should still garner some attention, especially for those who attend the NYC high school too.

Fall Tones On The Latest Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Flyknit

Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Flyknit Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Flyknit 1 Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Flyknit 2

The Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Flyknit is introduced in a new colorway of neutral olive/black this Fall 2016, as this variation of the silhouette is essentially its lightest interpretation yet.

Revamped with a flyknit upper that offers breathability, stretch and support where you need it most, the Ultra midsole is cored out in targeted areas for reduced weight without sacrificing durability, while it also combines the iconic Max Air heel unit for superb cushioning. Additional elements include no-sew film overlays to enhance its overall structure.

Priced at $160, you can purchase this standout pair at select Nike retailers worldwide and directly through its online shop now.

Author’s Take

A Closer Look At The Nike Air Zoom Talaria Safari

Recently offered in black/gold, the revived Nike Air Zoom Talaria is treated in the classic Safari theme for its latest iteration this season.

The 1997 retro runner essentially stays true to its original design, as the low-top sneaker is draped in a two-tone combination of clay orange and black across its leather and breathable mesh composition. The defining safari print theme is prominent across its toe cap and collar section, while it’s all adhered a complementing black/white rubber sole unit. Notable branding on the tongue and rear finishes off the design.

A release date for this pair has not been announced yet, but, stay tuned to KicksOnFire for more updates.

Author’s Take

I’ve always been a fan of this exotic theme and colorway. You can’t go wrong with a retro runner and this pair is a nice offering.

Self-Lacing Nike Mag Sells For Over $100,000 In Hong Kong Auction

Entries for the 89 pairs of Nike Mags have officially been closed, but Nike has embarked on a three-city auction tour of the only pairs that can actually be purchased. It started with a live auction in Hong Kong that just came to a close, and according to a live stream video posted in the SneakerheadUK Facebook group, the winning bid was 84,872 GBP, which converts to $104,267 (according to Google). The next auctions for the last two remaining Nike Mag shoes will take place in London and in New York City, and we expect that final bid to be even higher. We’ll have a video from the live auction event soon.

If Nike Auctioned The Mags, How Much Would They Sell For Heres What 10,000 People Think

Today is the final day for entrants to submit tickets to the Nike Mag raffle. Just 89 pairs will be given out on random, with winners being notified on October 17th. But what if Nike decided to auction them off on eBay, just like what they did with the 2011 release? For one, not many would be happy, because the shoes would be almost unattainable given the predicted prices. We asked the Twitter community what they thought the final average selling price for the self-lacing Nike Mags would be, and with almost 10,000 votes tallied, we have a better idea of what the sneaker community values these shoes at. Of course, there are some philanthropists with deep pockets whose sole focus is to benefit the Michael J. Fox foundation, so these numbers could be higher.

We posed four price ranges, starting from $10,000. See what Twitter thinks the average selling price would be, and remember, Nike is planning on doing live auctions for three more pairs in November (London, Shanghai, and New York City). You can still enter the raffle here until October 11th, 2016.

Women’s colorway or not, these are pretty dope. If I were to hoop, these would seriously be considered an option.

I don’t hate the Nike Air Cruz but I don’t love it either. It’s a decent looking shoe but I don’t see myself wearing a pair. This all-black colorway should be a nice pick up for fans of the silhouette though.

Ladies, Nike is hooking you up this Fall season. The timeless Nike Air Force 1 Mid is re-imagined once more and this time around the shoe is done in a premium offering that sees it constructed out of both wool and leather.

The mid-top classic starts off with a clean wool constructed base that is nicely accented by the hits of Vachetta tan leather strategically placed on the heel, strap, Nike Swoosh and tongue tag. Tonal laces and an all-White sole unit round out the main features of this premium rendition of the Air Force 1 Mid. Available internationally and expected to drop stateside in the near future, is this something you see in your Fall sneaker rotation?

Author’s Take

Very nice. Combining wool with Vachetta tan leather is always a good look in my opinion. Imagine if the Jordan 12 Wool came with some tan leather hits? It’s be game over!

Today Is The Last Day To Enter The Nike Mag Raffle

It took almost three decades, but Nike has finally delivered on their promise to make the power-lacing Nike Mag from Back To The Future Part II a reality. Today is the last day to enter the Nike Mag raffle, and while this year’s offering is incredibly limited – 2011’s Nike Mag release saw 1,500 pairs hit eBay while this year you’ll have a chance to win 1 of only 89 pairs – you still have one last shot to win a pair, and here’s how to do so.

The only way to enter is through purchasing a $10 lottery ticket. There’s no limit to how many tickets you can purchase and all proceeds from the Nike Mag lottery will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s Disease. To purchase a ticket, download the Nike Plus App or visit mag.rallyup.com. Winners will be notified on October 17th. Due to the adaptive fit technology used in the Nike Mag, the only size options are 7, 9, 11, and 13.

Be sure to check out our own video featuring the power-lacing technology found in this year’s Nike Mag below and stay tuned for more updates regarding this fiction-to-fact creation right here on Sneaker News.

This Upcoming Nike Kyrie 2 Release Is Wet

Did Kyrie Irving out splash the Splash Brothers in last year’s NBA Finals? Over the last three games of the series, Kyrie was on an absolute tear, and Nike Basketball wants to remind you just how wet his jumper can be with this upcoming grade school exclusive known as the Nike Kyrie 2 Wet.

The Nike Kyrie 2 doesn’t have too much longer before being replaced by the Nike Kyrie 3, a shoe that we eagerly wait the unveiling of. Nike is keeping the silhouette busy though by adding new water splash graphic options on the midfoot strap, made even more enticing by a metallic patent leather in a Game Royal shade. The Orlando Magic-like vibe is finished off with a black bolstered mesh base while a marbling on the heel adds another dimension.

What do you think of the Nike Kyrie 2 Wet? You can grab your pair on November 11th for $100 USD, but so far this pair will be available only in a kids size run. Check out more detailed shots below and know that we have more of the latest release date updates right here on Sneaker News.

The Nike LeBron Soldier 10 Christ The King Works For LeBron Too (Video)

Wine Red, White, Gold. Nope, those are not just the colors of your reigning, defending, undisputed NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers (who came back from a 3-1 deficit against a Golden State Warriors team that had the best regular season and unanimous MVP), but also New York’s Christ The King high school, one of the most well-known programs in the country. For nearly a decade now, Nike Basketball has paired LeBron James up with the school, producing some of the most sought-after player exclusives in Bron’s extensive sneaker history.

This year the general public is getting a taste of the exclusive life with the release of the Nike LeBron Soldier 10 Christ The King on Saturday, which you could argue is so close to the colors of the Cavs that it might as well be an “Away” colorway of the Soldier 10. Regardless of what Nike and the sneaker community decides to call them after release, I think it’s time to start calling them what they really are: LeBron’s real signature shoes.

Introducing The Hybrid Nike Air Zoom Spirimic

Air Zoom Spirimic 1 Air Zoom Spirimic 2 Air Zoom Spirimic 3

Any guesses on which two currently existing Nike running models make up the hybrid Nike Air Zoom Spirimic? Go on take a guess. Give up? Alright, let’s take a first look at the shoe.

The Nike Air Zoom Spirimic is said to be a lifestyle model that combines the aesthetics of both the Nike Zoom Seismic and the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon. The Seismic was at its prime back in the late 90’s while the Spiridon was recently brought back to the spotlight by Nike. The brand new Spirimic utilizes the tooling of the Spridon, while the nubuck and mesh upper is inspired by the Seismic. For the most part, hybrid sneakers get a bad rap, but do you see yourself giving these a shot? Let us know in the comments below an stay tuned for a release date.

Author’s Take

Eh, I’m not too impressed. It’s not that impressive, I’d just rather pick up a pair of the Spiridons.

Nike Combines The Spiridon And Seismic

Following up the Air Zoom Chalapuka, Nike Sportswear creates another fashion-minded lifestyle sneaker that combines two classic runners in a re-imagined premium way. Like the Chalapuka which features a redesign of the Chapuka upper atop the sole of the Talaria, once again the upper of this latest creation takes inspiration from a slightly obscure model of the Swoosh’s late-90s/early 2000’s catalog: the Zoom Seismic. This new Air Zoom Spirimic utilizes the tooling of the recently-returned Spiridon, and features a streamlined upper in nubuck and mesh for a thoroughly modern interpretation. Get your first preview of the Air Zoom Spirimic here, and stay tuned to Sneaker News for further release details.
