Kevin Durant’s tenure as a Texas Longhorn may not have been long, but he got to work, broke records and made a name for himself during his small stint at Texas. You’re probably thinking to yourself what that has to do with this Nike KD 9 Oklahoma PE. Well, if you know college basketball, you know that Texas and Oklahoma are arch rivals, which is why I find it kind of odd that Nike and Durant decided to give the school their own PE. Maybe due to the fact that Durant played for the Oklahoma City Thunder for all those years may have something to do with it, but who knows.

Nike surprised everyone on Christmas morning when they released the Nike Kyrie 3 Samurai as part of their “12 Soles” Holiday Collection. The shoe released on the SNKRS app without any warning and was gone in a few minutes.

If you missed out and would like to pick up a pair then we have some great news for you because Nike will be giving us a wider release next month. The Nike Kyrie 3 Samurai features a Dark Obsidian upper with bold red detailing on the ankle/heel area as well as on the inner liner. A silver sword-inspired Swoosh and a contrasting white sole complete the look.

The Nike Kyrie 3 Samurai will release on January 26, 2017 for a retail price of $120.

Vachetta Tan has been a hit over the last couple of years as we’ve seen it used on a variety of different sneakers, mainly from Nike and Jordan Brand.

The latest sneaker to get hit with the luxury treatment is the Nike Air Zoom Talaria Mid Flyknit. The modified high top runner features a grey Flyknit upper with black suede overlays on the side panels. Nike has officially unveiled their first Air Jordan 31 release of 2017 with the introduction of the Black Toe colorway.

Inspired by the original Air Jordan 1 of the same name, this Air Jordan 31 features a Black to White gradient Flyweave upper that starts with Black at the toe and transitions to White on the heel which is made out of leather. The Swoosh on the side panels and the Jumpman on the ankle have also been done in Black while hits of red have been placed on the Flywire cables, midsole, and the translucent outsole.

Nike Sportswear continues to experiment with the Nike Air Force 1 outside of the collaborative realm. We’ve seen fresh updates like the Nike SF-AF1 burst onto the scene to promote the lifestyle sensibilities of Bruce Kilgore’s iconic 1980s basketball model while NikeLab has overhauled the silhouette in premium leather and tonal colorways throughout the year. This new Nike Air Force 1 Low features a number of premium features ranging from alternating panels of tumbled and smooth white leather to hints of that coveted Vachetta Tan natural leather shade on the heel and tongue. The tongue also sports an updated patch that looks like actual hardwood based on the dye process of the Vachetta Tan overlay that displays the classic ‘Nike Air’ branding in a contrasting white. You can choose to swap out the optional patch for an underlying white-on-white velcro ‘Nike Air’ tab underneath. What do you think of the look?
