Nike has announced official details of their BREAKING2 race, which will see three of the brand’s top marathon runners attempt to break a 2-hour marathon this Saturday, May 6th. The BREAKING2 initiative will take place in Monza, Italy on Saturday morning when Eliud Kipchoge, Lelisa Desisa and Zersenay Tadese will all attempt to do what no runner has ever done before: run a complete marathon in under 2 hours. All three racers will be wearing Nike Running’s latest innovation, the Zoom VaporFly Elite, the brand’s new racing shoe featuring ZoomX foam that is said to be the fastest racer ever with the ultimate energy-returning cushioning system.

The event in Italy is closed to the public, but anyone with internet access can watch the race unfold by tuning into Nike’s livestream. Here’s what you need to know to watch:

Sign up HERE to receive a notification reminder for when the attempt is happening. Live Breaking2 coverage will begin about 15 minutes before race start. See the time zone conversion chart below to know when to tune in based on where you live.
You can access the show through two of Nike?s social platforms:
1) Nike?s Breaking2 landing page on Twitter: You don?t need a Twitter handle or login to watch from here. Because Nike will be live tweeting the event from this handle, this will be the most informative and robust viewing experience.

2) @nike Facebook: You will need a Facebook login to view the livestream on this platform. And if for any reason you miss the stream, you can replay the attempt here for up to one week after the event ends.

Imagine this. With the grace of the sneaker gods you were able to get through online last week and scoop up the extremely hyped/coveted Supreme x Nike Air More Uptempo. So now you’re patiently waiting to get them in the mail. Then they arrive and you see them covered in….mold? WTF!?! Sounds like a made-up story, right? Well unfortunately it’s not because this actually happened to someone.

A person with the username @remzashoedle on Instagram posted pictures of the red pair that he received in the mail this week, and as you can see, the shoes are damaged with mold before he even got a chance to wear them. It also appears that the box has water damage on it, so that explains the mold. Check out the photos below to see the condition that this guy’s sneakers came in. Hopefully someone at Nike/Supreme gets wind of this and they right their wrongs.

Being a lineman might not be the sexiest position in football – the rare players that do et head-turning PE cleats or even the chance to have a signature off-the-field model are usually the wide receivers and defensive backs capable of making highlight plays – but Nike is about to change that with their latest football cleats inspired by the Incredible Hulk. The NFL totes some of the largest, strongest humans in the world. At 300+ pounds the guys protecting the quarterback and opening up holes for running backs have gone unloved by the footwear industry, until now. The Nike Force Savage Elite was designed with both offensive and defensive linemen in mind and features revolutionary twisting triangular studs on the outsole for 360-degree traction. Kurim returns here for the triangular structures on the outsole while a foam forefoot shield from stud stabs. Lineman also often wear tape to support their ankles, so Nike updated the ankle collar with a wrestling boot inspiration that locks the foot and ankle into place. Lead Footwear Designer Erin Cochrane wanted the Nike Force Save Elite cleat to display linemen’s oversized personalities too, saying: ?The linemen dance and have fun ? and for the first time, we?re designing for their physical demands and personalities. Linemen wear what everyone calls big uglys. Our goal was to make linemen look cool, to give them big sexys for once.? Yesterday we got word that Virgil Abloh’s OFF WHITE will get an immersive collaborative run with some of the most sought after models in Nike and Jordan Brand’s respective catalogs with a 10 pair collaboration in the works. We don’t know when exactly this awesome collection will release or if it will all be at the same time, but detailed looks of some of his creations have started to roll in.
