First Look At The Nike Kobe AD NXT

nike-kobe-ad-nxt-preview

Kobe might not be playing basketball anymore, but that hasn’t stopped Nike Basketball from getting experimental with his signature series. First, the imprint debuted the Nike Kobe AD, a performance juggernaut that we all know and love complete with a unique heel construction and a lightweight engineered mesh upper that perfectly co-exists with a natural motion-inspired Zoom Air outsole unit. While the Kobe AD skipped out on the numbered installments to signify Kobe’s retirement, it’s still very much in line with his brand identity.

That’s why we’re scratching our heads with the upcoming Nike Kobe AD NXT, a model that introduces a head-turning alternative lacing system with a drawstring construction while a mesh shroud overlay hides the unique lockdown support that doubles as somewhat of a Dynamic Flywire. The bold midsole branding looks a little Hyperdunk in nature while the traction pattern is comprised of Kobe’s sheath logo. Check out a full preview of this upcoming Kobe oddity below and stay tuned for a Release Date right here on Sneaker News.

Nike Dunk High Retro Cargo Khaki

After bringing back almost all of the original “Be True To Your School” colorways last year, Nike is now dropping the Dunk High in the classic color block once again, but with all-new colors. Earlier this week we saw a “Violet Dust” shade of purple hit the silhouette, and now we spot another two-tone look in Cargo Khaki?or simply olive green?and white. The result is a look reminiscent of the “Celtics” colorway in green and white that dropped a few years back. Dunk fans can expect these soon at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike.com.

The Nike Air Max 95 Fresh Mint Is Ready For Summer

Previously offered in dusted clay, the women?s Nike Air Max 95 is treated in a more vibrant option to perfectly coordinate with Spring/Summer.

Dipped in fresh mint, the eye-catching tone essentially covers the classic runner?s upper — comprised of breathable mesh, textile and textured suede paneling.

Subtle black accents are applied along the tongue, branded heel and outsole to further complement the palette, while it?s topped off with crisp white midsole unit featuring the signature visible air bubble inserts throughout for superb cushioning.

Look for this pair at select Nike retailers overseas first, although, a stateside release is imminent.

Nike Air Max LD-Zero Pearl Pink

There’s already two colorways of the Air Max LD-Zero releasing this Sunday, March 26th for Air Max Day. While those two colorways alternate between monochromatic tendencies of all white and Pure Platinum options for a blank canvas of the old school meets new school silhouette, today we get a look at something a bit more vibrant thanks to the pastel aesthetics of the Nike Air Max LD-Zero Pearl Pink, also available from select sports this Sunday in a women’s exclusive size run.

The Nike Air Max LD-Zero takes the classic LD-1000 running model, an iconic running model favorited by Hiroshi Fujiwara featuring an oversized vintage Swoosh on the side panel, and updates the outsole with what was the most recent advancements in Air Max technology before the Nike VaporMax was introduced to the world. This Pearl Pink rendition ups the lifestyle credibility thanks to a perfect light pink throughout that even translates over to the full-length Max Air window.

Check out more detailed shots of this Air Max Day offering below and grab your size on 3/26 via Nike.com.

NikeLab Teams Up With INVINCIBLE For Incredible Air Max 1 Flyknit Installation

Nike’s Air Max Day is bigger than ever this year, and one of the most notable drops is definitely the “VisionAirs” collection with three renowned innovators of fashion, design, and technology all creating their own Air Max designs. Compared to Riccardo Tisci’s Air Max 97 Mid and Marc Newson’s VaporMax, Arthur Huang’s Air Max 1 Flyknit is the most traditional silhouette, but it may just be the most meaningful. The CEO of Miniwiz, a company dedicated to recycling consumer trash and industrial waste into useful and beautifully designed products, Huang created a sleek all-black version of the Air Max 1 Ultra 2.0 Flyknit built with premium leather paneling. Every pair of the shoe will be housed in a lightweight plastic box made entirely from post-consumer materials.

See the shoe with its packaging at a special pop-up space set up at INVINCIBLE in Taiwan, and cop your pair on Air Max Day, this Sunday, March 26th. The shoes are available now in-store at Invincible.
