This news comes after Kendrick had been in partnership with Reebok for the last few years and even released a few collaborations with them. Now that he’s with Nike we can surely expect some kind of collaboration(s) to release hopefully in the near future. Above you will see the custom Nike Hyperdunk sneakers Karl-Anthony Towns decided to wear for this year’s Kentucky Basketball’s Alumni Game. The customs sneakers came with loud and clear messages that read “Love Trumps Hate,” as will as with an anti-racism logo noted on the toe. President Trump’s response to the recent events in Charlottesville, VA and the overall state of the country is probably the main reason why Karl-Anthony Towns opted to go with these sneakers for the event. Much respect to Karl-Anthony Towns for using his platform to deliver his message. In addition to the shoe, he also published an article on The Players’ Tribune to comment on the recent events in Charlottesville and Donald Trump’s response.
