Author’s Take

I’m a Ken Griffey Jr. fan but I’m not a fan of this colorway. I’d rather pickup the Freshwater colorway instead of this pair.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low OG Green Is Releasing

Last month, we got word that the Nike Air Force 1 Low will be getting the remastered treatment. Although we still don’t know which colorways will be remastered, we now know that one of those colorways will be the white and green version.

Said to be constructed to almost the exact specifications of the 1982 OG release, the Air Force 1 Low OG releases will come dressed with premium quality leather upper accompanied by vintage branding on the heel and side panels. The shoe will come with the classic ?Nike Air? branding on the heel and tongue to give it that vintage look we all know and love. This particular colorway has the shoe come in a white upper contrasted by the green placed on the outsol, Nike Swoosh, heel tab and tongue branding. No word yet on when these will drop, but expect these to drop sometime this Summer. Hot or not? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Author’s Take

I was a fan of the Air Force 1 High getting the remastered treatment, I’m sure I’ll be a fan of the Lows as well. I really liked the leather used on the AF1 High OG pairs, if they use the same quality on these, I will be all over them. Nice to see these classics getting remastered.

SKYLAR DIGGINS NIKE HYPERREV PE 1 SKYLAR DIGGINS NIKE HYPERREV PE 2 SKYLAR DIGGINS NIKE HYPERREV PE 3 SKYLAR DIGGINS NIKE HYPERREV PE 4 SKYLAR DIGGINS NIKE HYPERREV PE 5

Although she is recovering from a torn-ACL injury, Skylar Diggins is still one of the best players in the WNBA. When she comes back, Nike will welcome her with her very own Nike Hyperrev PE. Not only will she get her very own PE, she also got the chance to put a little something special on the shoe that’s dedicated to her mom.

The Nike Hyperrev 2016 PE comes dressed in a orange upper paired up with 3m reflective piping that definitely adds some pop to the shoe. Providing some contrast to the shoe is the black midsole and the marbled outsole. If you take a look at the inside part of the midfoot strap, Skyler pays homage to her mother with the catchphrase ?you do you? and her mom?s nickname for Skylar ? ?Shug?. The shoe will be a limited release on May 7th, are you looking to pick up a pair? Let us know in the comments below.

Double-whammy. Not only does she get her own PE, she also got the chance to pay tribute to her mom. Pretty dope!

Our First Look At The Nike Air Max 2017

It looks like we finally have our first look at the next installment of the Nike Air Max series. Above you will find the first image of what is said to be the Nike Air Max 2017.

Some of the main features you notice on the shoe include the ridges placed on the the majority of the mesh constructed upper. The Nike Swoosh is placed right in the center of the side panels, while the clean Air Max sole unit is placed below. No other information has been provided regarding the shoe, but keep it locked to find out how much and when the shoe will release.

Author’s Take

First impressions mean a lot, and as of right now I like the 2015, and 2016 version better. Aside from the ridges, everything looks pretty basic on the shoe.

Is The NikeCourt Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit Game Royal On Your Pick-Up List

Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit Game Royal 2 Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit Game Royal 3 Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit Game Royal 4 Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit Game Royal 1

Since we already took a look at the Wolf Grey colorway of the NikeCourt Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit, we’ll now give you a closer look at another colorway that is also up for grabs right now.

Instead of going light like the Wolf Grey pair that we saw earlier, for this pair Nike decided to go bright by outfitting the Tennis Classic in a Game Royal Flyknit upper. Even the Swoosh, tongue, inner liner, heel tab and laces have also been covered in Game Royal. Serving as the only touch of contrast is the Ultra sole which has been done in white.

You can pick up your pair now at select Nike retailers for a retail price of $150.

Author’s Take

I usually don?t look twice at the Nike Tennis Classic, but this new Ultra Flyknit version definitely gives it a better look. I wonder how the comfort lever is with the new technology and materials. This colorway would have looked better with some contrast on the upper.

Will We See More Air Jordan 3s With Nike Air Branding Release In The Near Future

On Black Friday of 2016 we’re expected to see the return of the Air Jordan 3 True Blue with the OG “NIKE AIR” branding on the heel. When the news broke this came as a surprise to all of us since Jordan Brand announced just a couple of years ago that the Air Jordan 3 would be “going in the vault” for an unspecified amount of time.

But will the True Blue colorway be the only OG Air Jordan 3 that will be releasing? Maybe not. According to DJFolk, we’ll be seeing more of the Air Jordan 3 with the OG NIKE AIR branding in 2017.

That means it could be the Black Cement, Fire Red, or the White Cement colorway (which we recently saw in 2013). What colorway would you like to see return the most? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Also make sure you keep up with our Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue launch page for the latest news and updates.

Author’s Take

I hope this is true. I would love to own the Black Cement 3s with Nike Air on the heel. Hell, I’ll take them with the Jumpman logo. I just need a pair.

Are You Feelin The New Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 Laser

Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 Laser 1 Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 Laser 2 Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 Laser 3

The Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 has just received a brand new look for 2016 in the form of new laser detailing.

The sneaker of tennis legend Andre Agassi has gotten a makeover in 2016 that makes it look like a brand new silhouette instead of the 25+ year old veteran that it really is. Available now in two different colorways, today we get a closer look at the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 Laser in the black colorway courtesy of some new on-feet images. This Air Tech Challenge 2 features a full black upper done in a combination of leather and suede with laser detailing appearing on the side panels and toe. Down below is a white sole unit that provides some contrast.

For anyone looking to cop a pair, you can do so now at select Nike retailers for $140.

Author’s Take

This new Laser version of the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2 makes me want to pick up my first pair ever. I don’t own any Tech Challenge 2s yet but this may have to be my first.

The NikeCourt Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit Gets A Wolf Grey Upper

Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit Wolf Grey 1 Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit Wolf Grey 2 Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit Wolf Grey 3 Nike Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit Wolf Grey 4

Last week Nike took the time to officially introduce the all-new NikeCourt Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit. As the name suggests, this revamped version of the Tennis Classic now comes equipped with a Flyknit upper and Ultra tooling on the sole.

This week we’ve been treated to new colorways such as the Wolf Grey pair that you see up above. As you can see, Wolf Grey Flyknit dominates the upper on this new Tennis Classic while contrasting hits of White land on the Flywire, tongue, laces, Ultra sole, and the leather heel and Swoosh.

Not much else to this clean and simple colorway of the Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit. Cop your pair now from select retailers for $150.

Author’s Take

One of the better colorways of the Tennis Classic Ultra Flyknit that I’ve seen but still doesn’t make me want to buy a pair. I’ll wait for a color with some more “pop.”

Who Picked Up The Nike Air More Uptempo Today

Nike Air More Uptempo 1 Nike Air More Uptempo 2 Nike Air More Uptempo 3 Nike Air More Uptempo 4 Nike Air More Uptempo 5 Nike Air More Uptempo 6 Nike Air More Uptempo 7

It seems like more and more retailers are finally getting their hands on the Nike Air More Uptempo White / Varsity Red. It was even noted that Nike’s online store would be carrying them this morning. I just went to their site, and unless they sold out in minutes they are nowhere to be found. While we wait for a wider release, there are still boutiques/shops out there that have pairs.

The white leather sneaker is sharply contrasted by the Varsity Red placed on the Nike and ‘AIR’ branding placed on the side panels of the shoe. Although only two colors are used, there is no doubt that the model is eye-catching. Let us know, have you been able to get a pair? Ar they as dope in person as they are on images? Let us know what you think about the shoe in the comments below.

Author’s Take

I’ve never been much of a fan of the shoe, but this colorway really caught my attention. The White and Varsity Red work so well together. It’s a really nice looking shoe.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Varsity Royal Releasing Soon

The flashback to 1996 continues as Nike is ready to drop a retro colorway of Ken Griffey Jr’s first signature, the Air Griffey Max 1. These popular Griffeys first released back in 1996 and made its first-ever return back in 2009. With 2016 serving as the 20th Anniversary celebration of this silhouette, Nike has already brought back the “Emerald” pair and plans to unearth this new concoction that features royal blue, black, and volt. These did in fact release a few years back, but here’s your chance to cop ’em again. Stay tuned for the official release on May 24th.

Is This The Last Nike LeBron 13 Elite Of 2016

LeBron James has yet to lose a playoff game this post-season and with the Cavaliers firing on all cylinders, what are the chances that they drop Game 2 at “The Q” tonight? LeBron is shooting for more than his 6th straight NBA Finals appearance, as he’s aiming to finally grab that elusive Cleveland world championship that’s avoided the city for over 50 years. The Nike LeBron 13 Elite has been holding King James down for the better part of the past month and a half, as Nike Basketball has approached this year’s Elite tooling with a different thought process than year’s past. The overall construction is simplified to the bare-bone essentials with a lightweight yet supportive Kurim cage. The durable synthetic adds lockdown support while a carbon fiber shank adds stability while shedding extra weight to help LeBron maintain his explosiveness well into the 100 game mark this season. This Black/Reflect Silver pair could just be the last pair to release at retail unless LeBron grabs that championship and we get some celebratory ‘The Land’ pairs after the accomplishment. Do you think it will happen? In the meantime, check out the latest LeBron 13 Elite colorway and pick up this pair on May 26th for $275 USD.
