The Nike Air Huarache International just recently made its return, but that’s not stopping Nike from releasing premium versions of the shoe. Today we take a look at what is being called the Nike Air Huarache International Premium Cloud And Sky Pack.

Inspired by thy sky and clouds from above, the two-pair pack dons tonal looks that we usually see above our head. Coming in a Blue Lagoon or Wolf Grey upper, the nubuck, neoprene and mesh constructed upper take on the monochromatic look all over the upper which includes the branding and laces on the shoe. Both pairs come with white speckled midsoles sitting on top of gum bottom outsoles. A white inner lining cleans things up a bit to balance out the look of the shoe. Thoughts on the Cloud and Sky theme on the Nike Air Huarache International Premium? Let us know in the comments below, and while you’re at it, pick up a pair of your own at select retailers.

I like the tonal look paired up with the speckled midsole and gum bottom outsole. I just wish it was done on the Nike Air Huarache Run on not on the International.

Now it’s being rumored that it will be making a return on Air Max Day (March 26th) in larger quantities and will not be limited to just the SNKRS app. In addition to the return of the yellow and white colorway there’s also a possibility that a brand new white/purple colorway will be releasing that same day as well.

Take a look at these images of the yellow and white pair and stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for additional information regarding the Air Max Zero.

I passed on the yellow and white colorway and if the new colorway will be white and purple then I also plan on passing on that pair. Hopefully more colorways are released in the future. Maybe red and white?

Rumor: Air Jordan 3 True Blue With Nike Air Branding To Release On Black Friday

It is being reported by Sole Collector that a retailer has confirmed with them that the Air Jordan 3 True Blue will be returning on Black Friday 2016 with the beloved Nike Air branding on the heel.

The Air Jordan 3 True Blue last released in 2011 but has never been retroed with the Nike Air branding on the heel. After Jordan Brand announced in August of 2014 that the Air Jordan 3 silhouette would be put into the vault for an undisclosed period of time and nobody really knew when we would ever see the sneaker again. It looks like we have our answer now.

If things stay the same then we expect the Air Jordan 3 OG 88 True Blue to retail for $220 and for it to release on November 25th.

Note: The picture above is of the 2011 pair and not the 2016 version.

Author’s Take

Fans of the silhouette and colorway will be hyped for this release. I’m a fan of the Air Jordan 3 but would have preferred to see the Black Cement colorway instead.

Air Jordan 3 True Blue With Nike Air Releasing On Black Friday

Black Friday is always a time to expect brands to come forward with some of the best releases of the year. Sole Collector reports that Jordan Brand won’t disappoint this Black Friday 2016, as a retailer has confirmed with them that the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue”, complete with Nike Air on the heel, will release to the masses. This is exciting news for Jordan fanatics considering Nike Air hasn’t appeared on this particular colorway since the original release in 1988 (as seen in the photo above), because the 2003, 2009, and 2011 Retro versions all had that original logo on the heel-tab. Stay tuned for more updates, but keep the True Blue 3s in mind as we approach Black Friday 2016.

The Spring Will Bring Us This Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit Low In University Red

Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit 1 Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit 2 Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit 3

The Nike Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit is one of Nike’s most popular silhouettes at the moment ever since it arrived on the scene a few weeks ago. So it makes perfect sense for Nike to give us more colorways of the new lightweight lifestyle shoe.

One of those new colorways that will be arriving at Nike Sportswear retailers later this Spring is this University Red option that you see above. Coming in a low-top cut that is better suited for the warm weather of Spring and Summer, this Air Force 1 Ultra Flyknit features a full University Red upper with Flyknit dominating most of the shoe and leather detailing landing on the Swoosh and heel tab. Serving as a touch of contrast are white hits on the tongue branding and midsole/outsole with translucent hits on the outsole.

What are your thoughts on this Spring colorway of the new and improved Air Force 1?

Author’s Take

I think this is going to be one of the most popular colorways of the Spring/Summer because what’s not to like about a red Air Force 1, especially when it’s made of Flyknit?

Nike Air Huarache International Premium Cloud And Sky Pack

Nike brought back the Huarache International in style by re-issuing the original colorways while introducing this premium tier of selections playfully dubbed the “Cloud And Sky” Pack. Featured here is the classic silhouette from 1994 with tonal Blue Lagoon and Wolf Grey uppers, speckled midsoles, and lifestyle-friendly gum soles for that elevated look. This approach isn’t quite new, because we’ve already seen Nike go these lengths for the Air Huarache, Air Huarache Light, and pretty much every retro runner born inthe 1990s, but seeing that the aesthetic is a good match, why stop? Peep the Nike Huarache International Premium “Cloud And Sky” Pack and grab these Huaraches now at select shops.

It’s only a matter of time before most of our posts consist of bold and vibrant sneakers that are ideal for the upcoming Spring season. Ladies, if you’re looking to stay ahead of them game, take a look at these three bright new colorways of the Nike Air Huarache Ultra.

Opting to go for the monochromatic look, all three pairs will come with matching colored laces, Nike branding, lining, heel cage and sole unit. The Life: Walking Around The Riviera In The Nike Flyknit Chukka Golf

Last week, Nike Golf unveiled their new initiative for the modern golfer and it was definitely an eye-opener. The two-day event in Los Angeles included a presentation featuring Nike Golf’s up-and-coming athletes as well as a trip to the Riviera Country Club to check out a practice round at the Northern Trust Open. As somebody who grew up watching the buttoned-up, argyle-wearing, ivy cap styles of the late 80s to the ultra baggy polos and pants that Tiger Woods got away with during his early run, seeing the fit evolve to athletic, slim and sleek was great to see.

As many people would argue, the style of golf has always catered to the older set and that doesn’t really appeal to the younger generation. Like, at all. It takes Nike randomly dropping a Jordan retro with golf spikes to get people in the sneaker community talking, but even if the shoes are there, the apparel just doesn’t match. It is something Nike has slowly tried to get on board with since their stable of golf athletes is skewing younger and last week’s unveiling was the first big step to that.

Nike Golf Trip 11
It would look so much better if the Riviera groundskeepers didn’t keep looking at me suspiciously while I took pics. Like they’ve never seen an outfit grid before. Ok, maybe they haven’t…

One of the first things that I got to see because I came to the presentation early and totally walked in on stuff that I wasn’t supposed to see was the Nike MM Fly Blade Polo and Nike MM Fly Roll Polo. The shirt design feels like a modern polo that you would see at the mall, but the materials are definitely made for competition. But the biggest aesthetic changes comes in the form of the collar, which is a lot shorter and slimmer than what you’re used to seeing on the course. Trying them on for the first time, I agree with the sentiment that it didn’t feel like I was wearing a polo but rather a Nike shirt made for competition. Personally, I can’t see myself wearing the Hyperwarm tights because they’re just a bad fit for me, but for those who swear by it, I can’t wait to see the looks on PGA Tour officials when somebody tries to rock them on the course.

I don't think you understand how much I need that jacket. Like, I need it...
I don’t think you understand how much I need that jacket. Like, I need it…

But that doesn’t mean that everything Nike had out there was just purely made with the world’s best golfers in mind. For hacks like myself who want to be able to keep it simple and wear the same thing we had on the course into the club house and maybe for a night out to dinner, Nike had several pieces that look straight out their Sportswear division, including possibly the greatest golf jacket I have ever seen. Dubbed the Enemies Of The Course collection, the print inside the jacket is so good, I would totally consider wearing it inside out like I was the Fresh Prince.

Of course, the highlight for us was the Nike Flyknit Chukka Golf. I admittedly was not a fan of the original Flyknit Chukka because it just felt too flimsy to ever be a viable piece of footwear so there was skepticism going in. As somebody who loves Flyknit Kobes in both high-cut and low-cut, the mid just didn’t make sense to me. And then there’s the precedent set by the Nike TW 15 with its Flyweave upper that featured that right level of comfort and support for my needs and it was a low-cut.

Nike Golf Trip 20

Walking around the Riviera in the Nike Flyknit Chukka Golf alleviated a lot of my fears the more time I got with them. First of all, the NikeSkin layer that you see wrapping around the bottom half of the upper is not only waterproof but also provides a level of support that simply isn’t there on a regular Chukka. Now I can’t speak for the shoe if it’s pouring rain, but it was smart on Nike’s part not to completely cover the upper in NikeSkin because that still allows the Flyknit to flexible and breathable on the top half. It’s a nitpick I had with the Kobe 9 and 10 in that they were not true Flyknit shoes; the Chukkas with NikeSkin gives us the best of both worlds.

Nike Golf Trip 14

As for the sole, it’s an evolution of Nike’s Free-inspired movement that started with again, Tiger’s shoes. But what makes this better and more suited for the casual player like myself is that I can easily wear this both on and off the course. With a post-round cleaning, they are basically Flyknit Chukkas with better support and perfect for the modern day sneakerhead who might wear slimmer pants or joggers with their kicks. I’ve even worn them to get my wisdom teeth removed and nobody wondered why I was wearing golf shoes.

Nike Golf Trip 19 Nike Golf Trip 8 Nike Golf Trip 6

My time at the Riviera was really like a dream come true. We got to walk around the course at a very leisurely place since it wasn’t open to the public and watch old mainstays like Vinjay Singh and Fred Couples do their thing on the range and on the course. I even got a chance to step inside the Nike Golf Tour Truck (no pictures inside sadly) which is where the Nike Golf athletes are able to make adjustments to their gear on the fly. Literally thousands of dollars worth of club heads, shafts and other gear can be found in that truck in all sorts of configurations designed to fit each player’s needs. I literally geeked out seeing the folder that was just marked “Tiger” nonchalantly as if he wasn’t the GOAT. And of course, the biggest kick I got was seeing tour pros, media types and people that work at the Riviera just flock to the free In-N-Out truck because there was free In-N-Out. Yeah, even though I’m surrounded by the best golfers in the world and Nike Golf is out there making a big statement, the world stops for In-N-Out. All is right in the world.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Flyknit University Red

Nike’s new Flyknit edition of the Air Force 1 is ready to head right into summer with colorways like this vibrant look in “University Red”. The most ideal version of the timeless silhouette ever for summer, the traditionally bulky Air Force 1 is transformed into a light and breathable sneaker thanks to the Flyknit upper and retooled ‘Ultra’ sole unit. You’ll be able to find this low-top AF1 featuring a mix of red and black Flyknit arriving at select Nike Sportswear retailers later this spring.

Aaron Gordon Destroys Nike Shoes While Performing An Insane Dunk

Coming in second place never felt so good. The Orlando Magic’s Aaron Gordon has deservedly gotten a boost in reputation after a dunk contest for the ages and his insane high-flying slams are now translating in-game too. Gordon recently put on an acrobatic display against the lowly Philadelphia 76ers with one minor mishap – his Nike Hyperrev 2016s fell apart as a result. Perhaps the model couldn’t withstand the altitude. Check out a few photos of his destroyed kicks and watch a video of the dunk that could’ve done it below.

Nike Evolves Skate Shoe Design With Eric Kostons New Signature Shoe

After nearly three years in rotation, the Nike SB Koston 2 is ready to take a back seat as the legendary Frostman is getting a new signature shoe from Nike this March. This time around, the Swoosh brings forth proven design elements and combines it with newly discovered cues – namely the sock-like ankle cuff that’s been prevalent in its football boots as of late. Dubbed the Nike SB Hyperfeel Koston 3, this new signature shoe promises the superior fit boasted by the Nike Flyknit Hyperfeel that debuted in 2014 and the unparalleled performance that riders have enjoyed over the last few years. No word on if a take-down version (aka a version without the cuff) will be available, but Nike SB has plans on launching the shoe this March after it hosts a shindig this weekend in Los Angeles. Get a full detailed photo gallery ahead and let us know if you think this is the most innovative skate shoe of all-time.
