Marquette University recently showed off their own PE version of the Air Jordan 2 Low. Now it’s North Carolina’s turn to let us know they’re also worthy of getting their own Air Jordan 2 Low.

This Air Jordan 2 Low UNC PE comes dressed in a baby blue suede upper accented by the hits of white and black throughout the shoe. Adding to the UNC theme is the graphic lining and the large UNC logo placed on tongue of the shoe. Is this better than the Marquette pair? Let us know in the comments below.

The shoe is cool, being that I’m not a fan of the baby blue upper, I would have made the shoe white and use the baby blue as the contrasting accent color.

Last year we saw Jordan Brand release a colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Mid that had some Lance Mountain vibes thanks to its appearance on the upper that featured black leather with some red detailing.

Today we take a look at the second pair that completes the unofficial Air Jordan 1 Mid Lance Mountain Pack. This Air Jordan 1 Mid comes dressed in a white leather upper with Gym Red detailing on the outsole, inner liner, tongue patch, and outlining various parts of the upper. Black laces finish off the look on this Air Jordan 1 Mid that won’t break the bank but still has a pretty clean look. Look for them to arrive at select Jordan Brand retailers this Spring.

The more I see the Lance Mountain Air Jordan 1s the more I get bummed out that I slept on the release and didn’t at least try to grab a pair. This is a pretty cool alternative except that the paint won’t change colors like the real pairs.

Jordan Brand has decided to give us a surprise tomorrow and release a Jordan retro in the middle of the week. Unfortunately for many this pair will only be releasing in grade school sizes, but some of you may still fit into a pair thanks to the new extended sizing.

This new colorway of the Air Jordan 4 will comes dressed in a white leather upper and Wolf Grey accents on the toe to provide a slight contrast. We then see Hyper Orange detailing on the Jumpman branding on the heel and tongue and finally Deep Royal Blue accents landing on the midsole, eyelets, wings, outsole, tongue patch and heel tab.

In my opinion this colorway would have looked better without the Hyper Orange accents and with a bit more Wolf Grey detailing. It?s not that bad but if I wore GS sizes I wouldn?t cop.

Even though Michael Jordan played for the rival Bulls, the New York Knicks are inevitably tied to MJ’s legacy. The 90s rivals met Chicago in the playoffs a handful of times and were victim to Mike’s infamous Double Nickel game that saw him post 55 points to solidify his return to the NBA after his first retirement. There’s also that Spike Lee connection too, as Jordan Brand enlisted the die-hard Knicks fan to direct the now legendary commercials featuring his Mars Blackmon character. The kids are getting an exclusive Air Jordan 4 tomorrow that resembles the Knickerbockers’ color scheme, as a combination of Deep Royal Blue and Hyper Orange land in accents on a supple white leather base and nubuck Wolf Grey toecap. It’s a unique look that’s rather subdued for a kids-centric release and has us wishing a full family size run would be available. See if you can find the pair right now on eBay.

Wait? What are we looking at here? Is this picture photoshopped or is it real?

NBA legend Penny Hardaway was recently spotted wearing an all-red pair of Air Jordan 11s. There was lots of rumors of an all-red Air Jordan 11 releasing during the 2015 holiday season but nothing legit ever came to fruition. Now with this new picture it’s sure to start the rumors up once again.

There is no confirmation whether this pair is in fact authentic or a custom or if Jordan Brand ever plans on releasing it, but it definitely has people wondering whether we’ll ever be able to get our hands on it. Would you have liked to see this all-red Air Jordan 11 be this year’s holiday release instead of the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam?

If these were to ever release it would be absolute chaos. I would definitely love to get my hands on a pair.

The low-top version of the Air Jordan 2 Retro is certainly trending these days. Just yesterday, we saw a special make-up for the Marquette Golden Eagles that features the school colors with the tongue acting as a billboard for the team logo. It looks like other Jordan Brand-outfitted colleges are getting the AJ2 Low treatment as well because UNC just revealed their version of the historic low-top Jordan shoes. The colorway is the familiar powder blue, while the famous argyle print acts as the sock-liner for that signature contrast. Don’t count on these hitting retail, but if you’re more interested in shoes that you can actually obtain, peep these all-red Air Jordan 2 Lows revealed by Gio Gonzalez.

Once again delving into the pages of sports history, Mitchell & Ness celebrates another historic moment of Michael Jordan’s career with a commemorative jersey. With the 30th anniversary of Michael Jordan scoring 63 points in a playoff game against the Boston Celtics coming up, M&N remembers the legendary performance of young MJ  with a replica of the jersey he wore on that night of April 20, 1986. With the Bulls in Boston Garden for Game 2 of the Eastern Conference opening round series, Michael and his teammates wore the red road uniform, which is reproduced here with all details considered including the screen-printed graphics the Bulls’ jerseys featured at the time. The legendary performance by Jordan in only his second NBA season (and after missing most of that regular season with a foot injury) still stands as the most points ever scored in a playoff game, and proved he was becoming a force to be reckoned with in the league. The Bulls ultimately lost the game in overtime and then the series to Larry Bird and the Celtics, but there was no mistaking that a new superstar was born.

Shane McMahon made his return to Monday Night Raw last night for the second time in three weeks and once again he was wearing a sweet pair of Air Jordans.

When Shane O Mac made his surprise return to WWE two weeks ago he did so while wearing the Air Jordan 1 High OG Chicago. Yesterday he took a more modern approach and decided to rock the Air Jordan 2 Wing It that released over the weekend. But Shane didn’t have to go out to his local Foot Locker to get his hands on a pair, he was given the shoes (along with a few others) directly from the source. As you can see in the tweet below Shane thanked Jordan Brand for sending him out a few pairs of kicks.

What we all wanna know though is what pair of sneakers will Shane be wearing when he faces The Undertaker in a Hell In A Cell Match in Wrestlemania 32 on April 3rd?? We’ll have to wait and see.

If you’re familiar with baseball then you probably already know who Gio Gonzalez is, if you’re not then he’s a pitcher for the Washington Nationals.

Gio also happens to be a Jordan Brand athlete who constantly gets hooked up with the latest Air Jordan releases months in advance. Back in December he showed us his latest JB haul that included sneakers like the Air Jordan 4 Alternate 89, Air Jordan 12 The Master, Air Jordan 2 Radio Raheem and others. Yesterday he was back at again as he gave us a glimpse of some upcoming Spring Air Jordan releases. Included in the picture are the Air Jordan 17+ Copper, Air Jordan 10 NYC, Air Jordan 1 High OG David Letterman, and a pair of all-red Air Jordan 2 Lows that caught lots of people’s attention.

There is no release information on the Jordan 2s yet but we’ll keep you updated here at Kicks On Fire as soon as we know more.

According to reliable source @baltsneakershow on Twitter, Jordan Brand looks to add another Flight 23 retail store, and this one appears to coming to the city of Baltimore.

If you’re from the Baltimore area, you may be familiar with the Mondawmin Mall. It is currently being rumored that that is the location in which the next Jordan Flight 23 store will be located. For those who aren’t too familiar with the Jordan 23 Flight 23 stores, they’re brick and mortars that have a retail partnership with Footaction, so that means that they’re usually connected and built next to a Footaction store. Stay tuned to find out when Jordan Brand confirms this rumor.

It seems like more and more people are showing off their gifted Air Jordan Kobe Pack. Some of the most recent people to be blessed by Jordan Brand include Zach Myers and Travis Scott. Who’s next? You know it was a given that Marcus Jordan (Michael Jordan’s son) has dibs on every single exclusive release.

He recently took to social media to show his followers the Air Jordan PEs that Kobe wore when he was considered a sneaker free agent. The Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 8 coming in the Lakers team colorway also come with some pretty cool exclusive packaging. The pictures Marcus shared with us show that both shoes come in a large box where the outside of the box has Kobe’s 24 and Jordan’s 23. White dust bags house both pairs, while the inside of the box has the numbers 3 and 8 to represent the shoes that make up the pack. “JORDAN” appears on the side of the box, while a Jumpman appears front center to complete the main features of the packaging. Although many people seem to be receiving their own pairs, we still have no information regarding this pack being a potential release to the public. Would you like to see these drop? Marcus Jordan, son of Michael Jordan, will be opening up his own sneaker store this Spring named Trophy Room and he already received a special gift to celebrate the upcoming launch.

Marcus was given a custom pair of Air Jordan 11 Bred Lows that features the logo of the shop on the heel of both sneakers. According to Marcus we won’t be able to get our hands on these because they were a special gift from Nike designer Mark Smith who is know for creating these lasered masterpieces in the past.

A few days ago, Sneaker Internet had a mixed reaction to the possibility that Jordan Brand would be jumping into the deep end and releasing a “What The?” edition of the Air Jordan 1. Unlike previous Nike What The shoes like the original Nike SB Dunk Low and the less-than-good-actually-terrible Nike LeBron 12 that borrowed colors, concepts and themes from dozens of pairs, the supposed Air Jordan 1 What The is allegedly a mash-up of the Air Jordan 1 Chicago, Black/Red and Royal colorways. Based on the mock images, the What The 1 has the same kitsch appeal of the Lance Mountain SB 1s and would mostly likely sell out just as fast.

But now a new image has surfaced and this time the What The concept has been brought to the Air Jordan 3. You can already picture Sneaker Internet losing their damn minds.

Like the supposed What The Air Jordan 1, this What The Air Jordan 3 only uses four OG colorways for inspiration: the Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement, the Air Jordan 3 White/Cement, the Air Jordan 3 Fire Red and the Air Jordan 3 True Blue (note: the True Blue is rumored to be returning on Black Friday).

Again, this is just an image that surfaced online and it’s hard to say whether or not these are sample pairs, another mock image or just somebody who just couldn’t wait for April Fool’s Day. We’ll have more on this story as it happens.

In addition to the White leather on the upper we see Deep Royal Blue accents on the tongue patch, waffle eyelets, midsole, heel, and the reinforcement wings by the ankle. Wolf Grey can then be seen on the toecap and inner liner while Hyper Orange adds a spark of color on the Jumpman branding on the heel and tongue.

Look, the kids love their retro Jordan as much as their adult counterparts, but the benefit of being a kid is that the competition for the smaller Js – this past weekend’s Air Jordan 12 Dynamic Pink launch notwithstanding – not as tough as you might think.
