I really like this silhouette in varsity red only, but this pair is pretty solid. The color combo is great and it should still garner a lot of attention.

I’m still kind of on the fence with this colorway. I like the combination of the Midnight Navy upper and the gum outsole, I just wish it was the original mid-top.

Author’s Take

The more I see this Air Jordan 5 I’ll admit the more I like it. I just wish it was an original midtop instead of a low because I don’t like the Air Jordan 5 Low at all. Oh well, that’s $200 I’ll keep in my pocket.

Why The Upcoming Air Jordan 11 Release Should Not Be Called Space Jam

The all-black Air Jordan XI with the icy soles and hits of royal blue will always be called the “Space Jam”, as it is commonly connected with the 1996 movie that featured MJ in an intergalactic basketball game with the Monstars in a battle for the universe. However, the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 11, which is revealed to have “45” on the heel, Nike Air branding on the insole, and an “OG” style cut of the patent leather mudguard, should point to another iconic moment in Jordan sneaker lore.
