For quite some time, we’ve known that the Air Jordan 12 would release in a brand new colorway that also came with a brand new material we had never seen on the shoe before. Today we finally get our first look at the Air Jordan 12 Wool.
Spotted at the Jordan Flu Game Pop-Up shop in Salt Lake City, Utah, the Jordan 12 in the Wool variation was displayed side to side next to all the Jordan 12s that have released as well as the ones that are also scheduled to release. The Jordan 12 Wool comes with an upper that comes in a predominantly Black wool construction. A Black textured leather mudguard and all-Black sole unit create a tonal look on the shoe. Metal eyelets provide the only form on contrast on the entire shoe. Said to be releasing on October 16th, there’s no doubt that the shoe will be a popular option for the Fall/Winter season. Thoughts on the shoe now that you’ve seen it? Let us know in the comments below.

Author’s Take
I’ve been seeing mixed reviews on the shoe, but I actually like the the wool construction myself. The fact that Jordan decided to give the shoe a tonal look was also a good idea considering that wool was used. I’m looking forward to this release.
