Jordan Brand’s Holiday releases are always some of the most sought after sneakers of that year, and 2016 looks to be no different thanks to the retro of the iconic Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam”. Nike Europe has just confirmed that the Air Jordan 10 London will be a Europe exclusive only.

Sporting a tonal grey hue across its premium leather upper, the finish essentially represents one of city’s nicknames — “The Big Smoke.” This was given to the city due to the 1950?s era when London residents would use coal fires to keep their homes warm. The smoke combined with fog essentially covered the sky and is reminiscent across the sneaker’s profile.

To provide a premium look, gold accents adorn throughout the silhouette, in particular, the stitched “LDN” along the collar.

Priced at $190, the silhouette is releasing at select JB and Nike accounts overseas only, starting this Saturday, June 18th.

I?m a fan of the silhouette overall and I?m biased towards these shades. The colorway looks solid and versatile, and I was actually considering on purchasing. Now, it’ll be more difficult and the resale on this pair just went up a bit more.

In six months from now we’ll be seeing the annual Air Jordan 11 arrive at retailers. Last year it was the 72-10 colorway that commemorated the Bulls’ historic 1996-96 season.

This year we’ll be seeing the return of the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam in honor of the 20th anniversary celebration of the movie. The 20th anniversary version of the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam features a black mesh upper with a matching patent leather mudguard that has been cut higher than recent retro releases to mimic the original pair from 1996. Other details include an embroidered “45” on the heel instead of 23, a Concord Jumpman logo, Nike Air branding on the insoles, a white midsole and an icy blue outsole.

Rip Hamilton will be remembered as an NBA champion who always wore some crazy Air Jordan heat.

Having played a large portion of his career with the Detroit Pistons, Rip recently decided to show us some of his favorite Air Jordan PEs from his time with Pistons.
