New Air Jordan 11 Low Colorways Are Dropping Next Year

When news broke that the Air Jordan 11 Low Columbia was dropping next year, a lot of people got hyped real quick. Now we got word that the Columbia colorway is not the only Air Jordan 11 Low set to release next year. A total of three brand new colorways will be making their debut in 2017, and were here to give you all the info that’s been provided.
Aside from the Columbia 11 Lows, there are already talks stating that the Air Jordan 11 Low Barons will also release. This shoe will come in Black/Metallic Silver and White. In addition to the Barons, there will also be two GS GG exclusive colorways dropping, the Air Jordan 11 Low in a Blue Moon/Sunset Blue-Binary Blue-White and an Air Jordan 11 Low in a White and Pure Platinum collection said to be a part of the Heiress collection. As of right now, the retail price of the Barons is set at $175 ($5 more than this year’s 11 Lows), as is the Jordan 11 Low Heiress, while the Jordan 11 Low in Blue Moon/Sunset Blue-Binary Blue-White is priced at $130 . Get Up Close With The Air Jordan 1 High OG Bred That Releases This Weekend

The wait is almost over. In less than 48 hours we’ll be seeing the triumphant return of what may be the most iconic sneaker of all-time.
Jordan Brand has decided to bring back the Air Jordan 1 Bred only three years after it last released back in 2013. This time around the popular colorway utilizes a premium leather composition in the timeless Black/Varsity Red color combination. A white midsole adds some contrast the shoe that will also comes with the extra pairs of red and white laces so you can spice things up if you’d like.
Look for the Air Jordan 1 High OG Bred at select Jordan Brand retailers on Saturday, September 3rd for a retail price of $160. GS sizing will also be available for $120.

Who Is Ready For The Air Jordan 4 Premium Obsidian

The latest $400 Air Jordan is releasing later on this month. While 2015 was the year of $400 Air Jordan 1s, 2016 is the year of $400 Air Jordan 4s. The next colorway set to drop on September 17th is the Air Jordan 4 Premium Obsidian you see above.
Coming in tonal fashion, the Jordan 4 is mainly constructed out of an Obsidian quilted leather consisting of an array of different stitch work placed all over the shoe. The stitched leather motif is also utilized on the tongue and the paneling where the netting is usually placed. Other luxurious features include the leather lining, leather laces, the copper accents noted on the eyelets and heel, and the embossed branding on the tongue and heel. I really like the look of the shoe. I really hate the price tag on it. This is a shoe I like, but I also don’t see myself wearing it a lot. It’s a little too fancy for my taste.
The Air Jordan Heiress Collection Continues With An Air Jordan 12 And Air Jordan 1

Remember the Jordan Brand Heiress Collection that dropped earlier this year? Well, it looks like Jordan Brand will continue to build on that collection as two more Heiress retros are on the way.
Above you will see the Air Jordan 1 Heiress and Air Jordan 12 Heiress. Both models take the luxurious route that give the shoes much more of a lifestyle look. Hues consisting of Light Bone, Plum Fog and Metallic Gold Star give both offerings that “Heiress” feel. Our first look at the Air Jordan 12 Heiress shows that the shoe comes in a Light Bone tumbled leather upper complimented by the matching mudguard. The tonal look is broken up by the Plum Fog hits noted on the lining and outsole. Hits of Metallic Gold Star are also noted on the eyelets to help give the shoe even more of a luxurious feel. The Air Jordan 12 Heiress will retail for $160, while the Air Jordan 1 Heiress will retail for $110. No official release date yet, but there are rumors saying that the shoes could actually end up releasing on September 10th. Blake Griffin Wears An Oklahoma Sooners PE Colorway of The Air Jordan 11

When it comes to some of the best Air Jordan PE colorways, Chris Paul is one of the names that comes to mind due to his long ties with Jordan Brand. But today it’s another Los Angeles Clipper that takes the spotlight.
Fellow teammate and Jordan Brand athlete Blake Griffin was recently spotted wearing a super clean PE colorway of the Air Jordan 11. The shoe features a white mesh upper with maroon accents on the patent leather mudguard, inner liner, the Jordan branding, and the outsole. Griffin was wearing the Oklahoma Sooners PE colorway of the Air Jordan 11 while he was coaching the sixth annual University of Oklahoma Legends Alumni Game.

New Look At The Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle Metallic Gold

The Air Jordan 6 will get dipped in gold this year as a new vibrant colorway of the celebrated silhouette will be releasing during the 2016 Holiday season.
New images have surfaced of the shoe today which comes covered in a full Metallic Gold glossy upper with contrasting hits of White landing on the upper part of the tongue, inner liner, heel tab, midsole, and outsole. The laces and lace lock have also been done in gold while translucent detailing lands on the outsole.

The Air Jordan 6 is not one of my favorite Air Jordan silhouettes, but I do like it. However this colorway is just too flashy for me. Easy pass on my end.
This Air Jordan 1 is said to take inspiration from the OG Bred, Royal, and Chicago colorways of the Air Jordan 1. Today we get a first look at what are believed to be first images of the shoe. As you can see, the shoe does indeed incorporate features from the Bred, Royal, and Chicagos all mixed together into one shoe. It is still not confirmed whether these are indeed legit, but we should find out soon enough.

“Black/Red”. “Bred”. “Banned”. Whatever you want to call them, there’s no debate that the original black and red colorway of the Air Jordan 1 is one of the most legendary sneakers of all time. As you probably already know, the fabled shoe is releasing once again this weekend (its sixth release in the original high-top silhouette). So to celebrate we’re taking a look at the black and red Jordan 1’s most memorable moments on and off the court throughout the last 31 years. These are the shoe’s “greatest hits” that have made it into the icon it is today.
The Air Jordan 1 High Rare Air will be returning later this year in a couple of different colorways. What differentiates this pair of 1s from the traditional Air Jordan 1 High is the fact that the “Wings” logo by the ankle has been removed and replaced with the words “Air Jordan.”
What was once only a sample version of the Air Jordan 1 has made it to retailers last year and will be releasing in at least two new colorways late this year. The first pair will come in a combination of Max Orange, White and Black, while the other one decides to use no color and rocks a white, black and grey combination. Both pairs are finished off with Nike Air branding on the heel, the Air Jordan branding on the ankle, and a Jumpman on the tongue.

Jordan Brand will be giving the “Timberland” boot look to the Air Jordan 4 as we take a look at a brand new colorway of the iconic silhouette today.
Covered in a wheat from head to toe, this Air Jordan 4 utilizes a smooth leather upper with perforations added on the side panels and tongue. Other details include tonal hits on the branding, inner liner and misole, while a gum rubber outsole finishes off the look.

I’m a really big fan of the Air Jordan 4 but my first opinion is that I don’t like this colorway. Maybe when I see more images I may change my mind, but right now I’m not a fan.
USC Trojans Greeted With Air Jordan 12s For Entire Team

The perks of being a college football player for a major program like the USC Trojans means that brands like Nike and Jordan will be offering up free gear throughout the season – just as long as a player doesn’t try to sell or profit off of the gifts in any way. You can imagine the Trojans players were excited when they entered the locker room to see free Air Jordan 12s waiting for each and everyone before their trip to take on Alabama opening week. Killing The Hype: Its Time To Make The Air Jordan 1 Bred Always Available

The Air Jordan 1 is the easiest Air Jordan of them all to cop.
Wait, scratch that. Lame Air Jordan 1s are the easiest Air Jordans to cop.
Look inside any sneaker store at the mall or specialty boutiques and you will find the Air Jordan 1 in some shape or form. But chances are that shape and/or form is going to be a mid or a low that you probably don’t care for, it?s going to have a strap that ruins the aesthetic of the shoe or it?s going to use materials that are subpar. Sure, you could buy those 1s just for the sake of having something that might resemble the most iconic sneaker ever, but why settle?
The truth is you want the OGs. You want the Chicago, the Royal, the Black Toe and the Breds (but not the Metallic Blue despite being a legit OG but whatever, I guess). If you?re feeling sporty, you hope that Jordan Brand brings back other OG colorways or unique one-offs like the black and gold or the China 1s. Jordan Brand should be flooding stores with those classics, but instead we get, well? stuff (yeah, that?s the non-profane word I was looking for) that we don?t like.
The past 18 months has proven that retros can sit on shelves regardless of their historic value or how they are tied to Michael Jordan if Jordan Brand makes enough stock for people to buy. Legendary colorways like the Air Jordan 8 Aqua, the Air Jordan 6 Maroon and new colorways like the Air Jordan 11 Low Closing Ceremony are not selling out as quickly nor are they going for as much as they would have several years ago on the resale market. Unlike previous years and unless it?s something insanely rare like a PSNY or OVO collab, most people that want to get retros will be able to get most of them without too much hassle.
The fear was that seeing these retros in shelves would hurt the man himself. But really, has Michael Jordan taken a hit in popularity just because we can still find his retros in stores? If MJ still has image consultants, I?d be more concerned about the waning use of Crying MJ memes before I worry about a pair of Black Metallic 5s being available at Foot Locker a week after it dropped.
This weekend Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Bred (or Banned) is coming back this weekend and by all accounts every major retailer is going to be stocking and have plenty of pairs for most people who want to go through the raffle process. That?s great and all, but Jordan Brand should finally take the next step and just make the shoe available perpetually. I don?t just mean the Bred; I want to be able to walk inside a WSS or a Robert Wayne Footwear (props if you know those stores) and buy the Royal, the Chicago or the Black Toe at any time.
But at the same time, I understand Jordan’s motivation for “holding back.” They want maintain that aura of exclusivity for the 1s, especially the Air Jordan 1 Bred. I just think nobody outside of the echo chamber gives a crap about that stuff anymore; people just want their Js. And if Nike is steadfast in not wanting to see one of their most prized products just chilling on a shelf, they can make them “made to order” either online or through their app, a la NIKEiD. Personally, I’d be fine if they introduced a Jordans Within Reach program, but I have money to pay that premium. Most people just want Jordan Within Reach (But Also Affordable).

Sacrificing the ?sanctity? of the Air Jordan 1 would be a worthwhile endeavor for Nike. With so many 1s in all sorts of styles, it?s not going to really hurt the brand to have the 1s people actually want to own readily available. A thirtysomething who saw MJ in his prime and maybe even had the 1985 OGs when they just ?sneakers? and doesn?t really pay that much attention to sneaker culture should not have to compete with the sneakerhead who has employs bots or has the time to build relationships with stores. From moms who want to buy kicks for their kids to hypebeasts that, well, hypebeasts wouldn’t be chasing these because they wouldn’t be exclusive anymore, so we all win. Unlocking the Jordans would be seen as an act of goodwill by the brand, something many in the community believe they don?t do enough of already.

No matter how the sneaker or how much it shifts from the norm, someone somewhere is always going to try to give a Nike sneaker the ?Bred? look.
