Our First Look At The Air Jordan 31 Fine Print

Air Jordan 31 1 Air Jordan 31 2 Air Jordan 31 3

Check out the Air Jordan 31 Fine Print. Any guesses as to what the inspiration behind this Fine Print colorway is? Jordan takes it way back for this latest inspiration the Jordan 31. How back do they take it, you say? All the way back to the exact moment when the young rookie (Michael Jordan) signed his contract with Nike.

Coming in a Black and White upper, the colors on the shoe are meant to represent the colors seen on the document/contract: White paper, Black ink. Aside from the two-toned look on the shoe, there are also minimal hits of Wolf Grey strategically placed all around the shoe. A cool feature on the shoe lies on the outsole, as Michael Jordan’s John Hancock can be seen in Black to complete the theme of the shoe. Said to be dropping on September 17th for $185, what are your thoughts on the inspiration behind this Jordan 31.

Author’s Take

It’s a classic Black and White version of the sneaker. The fact that it also has a story behind the colorway makes it even cooler in my opinion. The Jordan signature on the outsole is pretty cool too.

I?m all tonal finishes and I?m a fan of the sneaker in general. The build is solid as well and this should get some attention. I?m not that inclined on purchasing though.

Author’s Take

If this pair doesn’t release to the public, then a blacked-out edition should be in the lineup soon. It looks good so far.

It?ll be interesting to see how this model does. This variation looks really solid. I always wondered if the brand would explore new materials and apply it on classics just to see how it would be received.

After getting a first look at this upcoming Wheat colorway of the Air Jordan 4, we’re back with some more pictures of the shoe that seems to take inspiration from the popular Timberland boot.

Leather laces along with special quilted insoles add to the premium look of this Air Jordan 4. A gum outsole has been added as a finishing touch.

No release date is available at the moment but stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

I?m a really big fan of the Air Jordan 4 but my first opinion is that I don?t like this colorway. Maybe when I see more images I may change my mind, but right now I?m not a fan.

The Air Jordan 1 Royal Will Be Returning In The Summer Of 2017

A few weeks ago we heard rumblings that the highly sought after Air Jordan 1 Royal could be returning some time in 2017. On the eve of the release of the Air Jordan 1 High OG Bred, it is now being confirmed by The Shoe Game that the Royals will indeed be returning next year.

The Royal 1s will be joining the Chicagos, Breds, and possibly the Black Toes, as OG Air Jordan 1s that will be getting the remastered treatment. The Royal 1s are expected to release some time during the Summer of 2017 and will do so with a new premium look and of course the beloved Nike Air branding on the tongue.

How excited are you about this news? Many people have been waiting for the Royal 1s to return being that the last time they released they were so limited. And considering how crazy resell prices have gotten these days, it’s nice to have a chance to buy them at retail. Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.

Note: The image above is not of the 2017 pair.

Author’s Take

I’ve never owned a pair of Royal 1s and it would be nice to be able to have a pair. Hopefully they’re not that limited this time around and I’m able to grab a pair.

Russell Westbrooks Debuts Air Jordan 31 PE In China

Russell Westbrook is currently in China with Jordan Brand for the Flight Tour, spreading hoops love across the world. And there’s something special you’ll want to take note of: the new Air Jordan 31 PE on his feet. The never before seen colorway features a stealthy blacked out upper with metallic green detailing at the heel and his “RW” stamped on each tongue. Since this isn’t a colorway matching his team uniform in Oklahoma City, we assume this may be a colorway made just for the Flight Tour. Would you like to see these hit retail? Get a closeup look here, and you can also spot Russell wearing the PE XXX1’s on the @Jumpman23 Snapchat and Instagram Stories.

Our First Look At The Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Alternate Royal

The Air Jordan 1 Rare Air model made its debut over a year ago. Jordan Brand released this version of the Jordan 1 as a way to celebrate the Jordan 1’s 30 year anniversary. Although we’re now on anniversary 31, it looks like the celebration will continue with brand new colorways such as the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Alternate Royal you see above.

First look at the shoe and it appears as if the Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Alternate Royal could be the child of the Air Jordan 1 Royal and Air Jordan 1 Fragment if shoes could ever have babies. Of course that could never happen since shoes don’t have babies, but you know what I mean! Constructed out of a leather upper, Royal Blue takes care of most of the shoe, while White is seen on the side panels and Black takes care of the collar, tongue, laces, toe and Nike Swoosh. A White midsole and Royal Blue outsole can be seen below. “AIR JORDAN” branding is placed on the side of the ankle, tonal Nike Air branding is on the heel, while a Royal Jumpman is noted on the tongue. Thoughts on the shoe? Keep it locked to find out when you can get a pair.

Author’s Take

Not bad. I do see a little bit of Royal-inspiration behind it. This is a pair I would get if I were not able to get the Royals that drop next year.

Signature Jordan elements such as the wings logo and a subtle Swoosh are evident on the side panels, while a large Jumpman is placed across its heel.

Rounded out with FlightSpeed technology with full-length Zoom Air that enhances court feel, responsiveness and lateral support, you can purchase this pair at select JB and Nike retailers tomorrow, September 3 for a price tag of $185.

Author’s Take

I?m not really crazy about it, but, I really do like refined makeup. The only thing that bothers me is the large Jumpman branding. It should?ve been removed or just sized smaller.

Release Reminder: Air Jordan 1 High OG Bred

Air Jordan 1 2 Air Jordan 1 Air Jordan 1 1

The iconic Air Jordan 1 in its classic Bred/Banned colorway will finally be available to the public once again, starting tomorrow.

Initially introduced back in 1985, the sneaker was renowned for violating the league?s uniform code when worn on the court. Donning the now ubiquitous black and red color scheme across its premium leather construction, this 2016 variation, however, does not incorporate the distinctive ?X? detail on the heel, which was a prominent element on the 2011 edition. Although, the classic ?Nike Air? branding has been implemented on the tongue and insoles for its retro appeal.

With the iconic wings logo also gracing across its ankles, the model is finished off with a clean white midsole unit and red outsole. You can purchase a pair at JB and Nike accounts worldwide starting tomorrow, Saturday, September 3 for $160.

GS sizes (3.5y ? 7y) will be offered as well and retail for $120.
