Air Jordan 3 Air Jordan 3 1 Air Jordan 3 2 Air Jordan 3 3

Official images of the Air Jordan 3 in a brand new colorway of Dark Purple/Blue Cap has finally released and it’s listed as a gradeschool exclusive only.

Essentially draped in the defining bold hues across its profile, the model is also pronounced with atomic pink highlights gracing the eyelets and Jumpman branding on the tongue tab. The signature cement detailing is prominent on the toe cap and heel, while a crisp white midsole unit and purple outsole finishes off the design.

Priced at $140, you can expect to find this pair at select JB and Nike retailers starting October 29th.

Author’s Take

This silhouette is one my favorite sneakers, but, this colorway isn?t that appealing in my view. I?m not a fan of the colors and I guess it?s a good thing this is limited to GS pairs only.

The Air Jordan 13 What Is Love Pack Debuts Next Month

Air Jordan 13 1 Air Jordan 13 Air Jordan 13 2 Air Jordan 13 3 Air Jordan 13 4

Initially previewed this past September, the Air Jordan 13 What Is Love Pack is now fully revealed, which celebrates Chinese Singles? Day — essentially a holiday that celebrates the status of being single.

Consisting of two pairs, one for men and women, the men’s variation is rendered in the classic gym red and black palette, with the black leather element also revealing a panda camouflage graphic when rubbed off. The women’s version is draped in a respective feminine hue of Tiffany Blue with white accents.

Scheduled to drop on November 11th, the same day that Singles? Day is celebrated, it?s still unclear if this is only a China-exclusive release.

Stay tuned to KicksOnFire for more updates.

Author’s Take

The theme is pretty interesting and the colorways offered are solid overall. Both pairs are appealing in general and should be sought after.

It Doesnt Get Much Flashier Than The Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle Metallic Gold

Air Jordan 6 3 Air Jordan 6 2 Air Jordan 6 1 Air Jordan 6 4

Can you believe that it was 25 years ago when Michael Jordan captured his first NBA Championship. The year was 1991 and young MJ was lacing up the Air Jordan 6 to win his first Larry O?Brien trophy.

This luxurious colorway of the Air Jordan 6 celebrates the 25th anniversary of Michael Jordan winning his first NBA championship back in 1991 and features a full Metallic Gold upper for a flashy look that will surely break a neck or two. White accents then provide some contrast on the tongue, inner liner, heel tab, midsole, and outsole. The shoes even come with a fancy Jumpman hangtag.

Look for this Air Jordan 6 to arrive at select Jordan Brand accounts tomorrow (October 22nd) for a retail price of $250. Click and bookmark our official Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle Metallic Gold launch page now for more images, updates and release details.

Author’s Take

I wouldn?t consider myself a huge fan of the Air Jordan 6, but I do like it. However this colorway is just too flashy in my opinion. It?s not something that you would wear often.

One of the flashiest Air Jordan retros of 2016 will be hitting retailers tomorrow with the release of the Air Jordan 1 Low Pinnacle Metallic Silver.

Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Michael Jordan capturing his first NBA title, this low top Air Jordan 1 comes covered in a full Metallic Silver upper and has taken the ?Swoosh-less? look that we?ve already seen a few other times this year. Tonal laces, Nike Air branding on the tongue, and a white sole unit complete the look on this Air Jordan 1.

Retailing for $160, will this be a cop or pass for you? Let us know down below.

Author?s Take

Just like the Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle, I just think the colorway is too flashy and not something I would wear too often.

Buy, Pass, Wait: Keep Or Resell The Satin Air Jordan 1 Banned

Somehow someway Jordan Brand manages to one up themselves multiple times in a week. I don’t know how they do it (actually I do and it’s because we are suckers), but in a span of less than a week, they have managed to capture the attention of the sneaker world with three (four if you count the early Black Toe release) high-profile, high-priced retros. That’s why they keep on winning no matter how many general releases flood the stores. We keep coming back for more, as evidenced by this mostly Jordan edition of Buy, Pass, Wait.

Satin Air Jordan 1 Banned: Keep Or Resell?

Andrea Capone
Andrea Capone

Juan Martinez, Editor-In-Chief: (RESELL) I don’t wear 1s in general because I feel like death is creeping up on me when I put them on now, but I also generally prefer my Jordans have leather uppers, not ones that make them look and feel like Starter jackets. I can sell or trade these and get several pairs of Jordans I actually like so that’s a no-brainer to me.

Renz Ofiaza, News: (RESELL) I’ve seen $4k – $5k on eBay already. Due to its limited number and obvious exclusivity, I would rather resell and gain the profit. I guess it depends on what your priorities are. Oh and btw, I was so close. I wasn’t even aware of the surprise pop-up shop that morning and I was actually walking in the area, which already had a long line. Nice job JB, smh.

Renz Ofiaza
Renz Ofiaza

Andres Carrillo, News: (RESELL) I heard these are going for like $1,800. You know how many other shoes I can buy with that money??? Definitely resell.

Juan Carrillo, News: (RESELL) I’m 99.9% sure if these weren’t limited, they’d be sitting on shelves. A satin Jordan 1? Come on, man. Most of y’all are lying if you said you like these without knowing they’re limited. No doubt in my mind I’d resell these. If you want them, who am I to stop you from getting them, haha.

Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle Gold

EIC Juan: (PASS) I like gaudy sneakers and these are as gaudy as it gets. Problem is the price tag puts them way out of the “ironic purchase” range. Sign me up though if they pop up at the Nike Outlet Store for around a hundred bucks and even that’s too high.

Renz: (BUY) The colorway is one of my favorites, and it’s on one of my favorite Jordan silhouettes. I’m actually considering to buy just to resell, hahaha.

Andres: (PASS) I like the Air Jordan 6 but I only own one pair. The inspiration behind this colorway is cool, but it’s just too flashy. This is a shoe that would be hard to wear on a regular basis. And I’m not going to spend $250 on a shoe that I can only wear on New Year’s Eve.

News Juan: (PASS) Gold sneakers are hit or miss with me sometimes. In some models, they look amazing, in others not so much. That’s not to say this is a bad looking sneaker, I just feel like there’s something missing to give it that finishing touch. Plus, it should not be retailing for $250, it’s not like it’s made out of real gold.

SoleFly x Air Jordan XX3

Highsnobiety
Highsnobiety

EIC Juan: (PASS) The price tag is out of my range, but that could change the closer we get to the online release. I wish I could see them in person first to really get a fell for how they actually look. The pictures that we’ve seen make the rounds vary in quality and look that I can’t quite grasp what shade of teal it really is.

Renz: (BUY) I was never into this particular style, but, I’m a fan of the teal finish. Years ago, I would’ve worn this in a heartbeat, but, yeah, would buy to just resell right now.

Andres: (PASS) I love that more collaborations are being released with silhouettes that we hardly hear or about or see. But I feel that more could have been done with this Jordan 23. Maybe add some black and silver to make it resemble the old Marlins logo a bit more. All teal is just too plain in my opinion.

News Juan: (PASS) Big fan of Teal colored sneakers. It looks pretty good on the model as well. I just feel like I won’t wear it that much and being that it’s $275, I just can make myself pay that much money for a shoe I’ll wear 3-4 times a year.

Nike Air Foamposite One Maroon

Nike
Nike

EIC Juan: (WAIT) There are a lot of Foams just sitting in stores right now like they’re GR Jordans. I like the Maroon color, but I’m comfortable letting them drop in price until I see a number that I like. What a time to be alive…

Renz: (WAIT) One of the nicest colorways on the sneaker so far. It’ll be a popular purchase since it’s available in full family sizes, but, I’d rather buy it in at a lower price.

Andres: (PASS) One of the better Foamposites to release this year. The combination of a burgundy upper and a gum outsole is hard not to like. With that being said, I still can’t see myself buying a pair of Foams. Maybe for $150 I’d consider buying.

News Juan: (PASS) Not a fan of the Foam line, but I am a fan of the color Maroon. The gum bottom is pretty dope to. With all that being said, it’s still not enough to make me want to own a pair off these.

The Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle In Gold Releases Tomorrow

The Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle is almost here, but strangely enough, the luxurious Metallic Gold lifestyle creation won’t be available on Nike.com this weekend. Instead, Jordan Brand and Nike are making their latest Pinnacle series installment available only in stores.

The Air Jordan 6 “Pinnacle” doesn’t feature any actual 24K gold accents like its predecessors; instead, a premium Metallic Gold patent leather wraps around the entirety of the Air Jordan 6 while contrasting white makes for a smooth transition to the midsole and outsole unit. The good news about the lack of actual gold on this pair means that this will be the most affordable Pinnacle selection with a retail price of $250 USD.

Check out more photos after the break and while this Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle “Metallic Gold” pair won’t be available on Nike.com this Saturday, select shops like Wish ATL will have this pair in stock.

Air Jordan 4 Royalty In Black/Gold Releasing In 2017

Jordan Brand won’t stop at their Pinnacle Series when introducing the tried and true retro classic in the
Air Jordan 4 to new colorways with a touch of luxury. This coming January 2017 the Jumpman will introduce the Air Jordan 4 “Royalty” to the world, a new look that pairs Black suede and nubuck together with Metallic Gold touches throughout.

There’s no exact date for the Air Jordan 4 Royalty, but we do know that it will help kick off Jordan Brand’s retro catalog for the new year with a bang. The simple colorway pairs a black base with Metallic Gold on the Jumpman branding – while the tongue keeps the traditional ‘Flight’ work mark intact, from these early photos we can see that the heel branding gets updated with more of a pendant look. A white midsole and outsole combination adds a clean finish to the understated, luxurious aesthetic.

Check out some teaser shots of this upcoming Air Jordan 4 Royalty and stay tuned for more Jordan release dates right here on Sneaker News.

Whos Dropping $400 On The Air Jordan 11 Suede

If the $400 price tag doesn’t scare you away, feel free to continue reading. What you see above is this premium version of the Air Jordan 11 set to release this holiday season. Dubbed the Air Jordan 11 Suede, the shoe was made for a special kid through Jordan Brand?s Make-A-Wish experience. Done in an all-suede upper, the shoe was made for a child by the name of Rhome Simpkins. His pair came with his ?RS? initials embossed on the heels. Other features aside from the Grey suede upper include the embossed Jumpman branding on the heel, the leather quilted insoles and the White contrasting midsole. Are you feeling this luxe version of the Jordan 11? If so, are you prepared to pay $400 for them? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

via: SBD

Author’s Take

Aside from the price tag being a little too high for me, I?m just not satisfied with the overall look of the shoe. What if Jordan Brand had decided to keep the patent leather on the toe/mudguard instead of making the entire shoe a suede. There?s a thought, right?

Our First Look At The Air Jordan 4 Royalty

AIR JORDAN 4 ROYALTY 2 aIR jORDAN 4 ROYALTY

Heads up Air Jordan 4 fans, a fresh new colorway is said to be releasing in a few months. Currently known as the Air Jordan 4 Royalty, this clean iteration of the model boasts a timeless Black and Gold colorway. Here’s a first look at the shoe.

The official colorway of the Air Jordan 4 Royalty is currently listed as Black/Metallic Gold and White. Our first look at the shoe suggests that the upper is done in a Black suede, which is something we’ve seen on the model several times in the past. The most noteworthy part of the shoe though, lies in the Metallic Gold hits noted on the eyelets and Jumpman branding on the tongue and heel. A clean White midsole and set of Black laces round out the look of the shoe. Fairly simple in color scheme, but in my opinion Black and Gold sneakers are always a winning combination. Said to be dropping on January 2017, stay tuned as more info begins to surface on the Air Jordan 4 Royalty.

I love Black and Gold sneakers, and this one is no exception. I think I just picked out my first Jordan pick up of 2017.

Other details include 3M reflective accents on the heel and tongue, as well as a swooshless design for a cleaner look. Finally, a crisp white rubber sole unit rounds out the simplistic design.

I really like how it looks swooshless. The colorway is pretty appealing as well and it?s a stylish pair in general. I?d prefer wearing this over the gold AJ 6, just because it?s a bit more understated.
