Dexter Fowler Of The Chicago Cubs Is Giving Air Jordans To His Teammates
By SoleInsider
After defeating the San Francisco Giants in thrilling fashion the other night, the Chicago Cubs are a step closer to the World Series and potentially their first-ever championship since 1908. Dexter Fowler, the team’s Center Fielder, took to Twitter to show off the strength of his shoe plug because he’s giving his teammates some Air Jordan 12s. It’s unclear what colorway is hiding in those boxes, but it’s obvious that the perfect fit would indeed be the Deep Royal blue pair that’s dropping next month. Any guess as to what’s inside?
This December 10th marks the return of the Space Jam Jordan 11s. The shoe was made famous by Michael Jordan and his Space Jam film, but even the most casual of MJ fans know that he wore these during the 1995 Playoffs against Shaq, Penny, and the Orlando Magic. Jordan prematurely broke out the Air Jordan 11 (much to Tinker Hatfield’s chagrin) in the Concord colorway during that Playoff series, but soon switched to this all-black version to adhere to NBA uniform regulations.
The 2016 Space Jam 11s are much different from the 2009 Retro for several reasons. For one, it features the original 45 on the heel rather than 23, and the shape and dimensions of the patent leather mudguard resembles the originals from 1996.
The Space Jam Jordan 11 shoes release on December 10th in full family sizes, from adult offerings all the way down to crib sizes.
The Air Jordan 4 Premium Ginger Drops Right Before Halloween
By SoleInsider
Before the end of the month we’ll be seeing another premium colorway of the Air Jordan 4 arrive at retailers.
This Air Jordan 4 is said to take inspiration from the iconic Timberland boot and comes dressed in a premium leather upper that has been given the tonal look as a Ginger/Wheat hue has been applied all throughout. Leather laces, perforation detailing, a quilted leather insole, and a gum outsole are a few of the details that are included in this Air Jordan 4 release.
Look for this Air Jordan 4 to release on October 29, 2016 for $400. Click and bookmark our official Air Jordan 4 Premium Ginger launch page now for the latest images, information and release details.
I see what Jordan Brand was trying to do with the Timberland boot-inspired look on this Air Jordan 4, but there?s no way I would spend $400 on this shoe. $200 sounds a lot more reasonable.
The Air Jordan 12 Releases Continue With This Deep Royal Blue Colorway
By SoleInsider
You didn’t think that Jordan Brand was done with the Air Jordan 12 just yet, did you? Well if you did then you’re sadly mistaken because another colorway will be dropping next month.
Having some similarities to the PSNY pair that dropped last year, this Air Jordan 12 features a Deep Royal upper that is done in suede along with textured leather overlays on the mudguard. The upper eyelets, inner liner, tongue, midsole, and outsole have also been done in Deep Royal Blue with the only contrast coming on the branding on the tongue, heel, and outsole.
Scheduled to release on November 12th for $190, will you be going after this Air Jordan 12 or will they be a pass for you?

Author’s Take
The suede upper is pretty cool, but I?m not a fan of the all royal blue look. Jordan Brand should have added more color to this Air Jordan 12. I?ll pass on them.

Dropping on October 15th for a retail price of $190, will the Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday be a cop or a drop for you?
The Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday Are My New Pure Money 3s
By SoleInsider
It might be dropping this weekend, but we’ve all had a pair of the Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday at some point in our lives. You might not realize it but at some point you’ve had “that pair” of sneakers. The one that is so rote and simple in color that you don’t think twice about wearing them and just beating them up. It doesn’t matter if you’re going to school or running a few errands or just hanging out with friends; you’ve had that pair of kicks that are just fire enough that you won’t get clowned for wearing something lame but clearly have more than a few miles on them. It’s the sneaker you wear to prove that you actually #wearyourkicks.
For some people it might be a pair of Chuck Taylors while others might go with the reliable Vans Skate Hi. A sneakerhead really entrenched in the culture for decades now might go with some Air Force 1s or Air Jordan 1s, but today the adidas NMD and Ultra Boost are staking their claim for the modern fans.
The last pair of kicks that I would consider my “everydays” prior to taking this job was the Air Jordan 3 Pure Money. Right before I decided to jump on writing as a career choice, I wasn’t buying kicks all the time. Coming out of college, most of my sneaker purchases were limited by how much money was in my bank account and what was on clearance at Shiekh Shoes or Foot Locker (word to those stores because they were selling OG Kobe 1s for 50 bucks). There were exceptions to the rule, but for the most part I built my humble collection by never paying full price and the highlight of that was the Pure Money 3s that I found at the wall of a Nike Outlet Store in 2007.
Flight Club
As a kid, I wore what my parents wanted and eventually what I could coerce them into buying for me. In college I wore a lot of sandals because kicks weren’t the first thing on my mind. Post-college, I was finding my way while wearing those 3s and Kobes. It’s nothing like today where I’m fortunate enough to have the access that I do and I find it hard to literally wear a sneaker more than a handful of times (Ultra Boosts and Internationalists notwithstanding). The Pure Money 3 was the perfect shoe for that period of my life because it was versatile enough to handle just about anything non-formal in my wardrobe. Hell, those shoes have traveled with me across the world because they “just work”, even if I did have clean them quite a bit to keep them fresh.
But in time, white turns to yellow and paint chips away and feet grow so I had to say goodbye to the Pure Money 3s. I’ve owned a number of 3s in that time, but I think the Cyber Monday 3s (that aren’t releasing in Cyber Monday anymore but we still call it that because Google Searches) can be that shoe that replicates that feeling.

Bred 1s, Royal 1s, or Chicago 1s? The Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle In Gold Releases With Awesome Hangtag
By SoleInsider
Jordan Brand’s Pinnacle series has been one of the more interesting developments in the brand’s attempts to expand their reach further into lifestyle territory. Premium creations have landed on the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 4, some featuring actual touches of 24K gold, while others have sported a synthetic snakeskin leather for a luxurious aesthetic sure to please those who wanted to up the ante with their retro selections. Now the Air Jordan 6 “Pinnacle” is next. And while the pair doesn’t boast any actual 24K gold touches, the monochromatic patent leather upper exudes a hypnotizing array of Metallic Gold that’s sure to be a big hit once this Air Jordan 6 arrives on October 22nd.
The Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle also comes equipped with a unique oversized Jumpman hangtag to match featuring a similar gold shade and vector cut shapes to make for a head-turning design. Jordan Brand skips out on the ice for the translucent outsole and instead opts for one speckled with Metallic Gold flakes to match the premium upper. The good news is that this pair won’t even touch the $400 price range like previous Pinnacle releases, as the Air Jordan 6 Pinnacle will be available for $250 USD. Check out more detailed shots of this upcoming Jordan 6 Pinnacle release below and stay tuned for more of the latest Jordan release dates right here on Sneaker News.
The month of October is one of those times where the NFL allows players to wear pink cleats in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Jordan Brand is joining the fight by outfitting their players in special pink cleats such as this pink Air Jordan 9 that was worn this past Monday by Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis. What are your thoughts on these Air Jordan 9 Cleats for Breast Cancer Awareness Month? Be on the lookout for more players to wear similar pairs all month long.
Release Reminder: The Jordan Westbrook 0.2 Camo Arrives Tomorrow
By SoleInsider
Heads up! For all of you who’ve been waiting on the Jordan Westbrook 0.2 to drop, we’re here to remind you that the shoe will be making it’s debut tomorrow. Starting off with the Jordan Westbrook 0.2 Camo, let’s get one final look before the shoe officially drops in the states.
The Jordan Brand lifestyle model will come dressed in a Black suede and camo motif. Black takes care of the majority of the shoe while the Camo hits can be found on the paneling. As far as branding goes, you’ll be able to find Westbrook’s logo on the outside of the leather tongue tag and “WHY NOT?” on the inside of the tongue. Black laces and a White sole unit round out the look of the shoe. Priced at $140, will you be picking up a pair? Let us know in the comments below.
I will not be picking up the Westrbook 0.2 in this colorway or any other colorway. I still don?t understand why Jordan Brand did not give Westbrook his own performance signature line. I don?t see this lifestyle line working in the long run.

I think it?s a good looking pair. I?m all for tonal iterations and this colorway just looks great on the silhouette. The construction looks solid as well.

I?m not that big fan of the higher placement of the patent leather overlay, but, this one of my favorite sneakers ever. I?m just glad it?s being released again and hopefully in lots of quantities.
Lifestyle images of the Air Jordan 3 Cyber Monday is featured, as we’re only days away from its official release date.
Suggested to pay homage to the Monday after the Thanksgiving holiday, the sneaker is essentially doused in a simplistic two-tone finish. Black covers its leather upper while white is implemented for the rubber sole unit. Finishing details include a matte black Jumpman branded patch on the rear and classic Jumpman embroidery adorning the tongue and insoles.
Full family sizing will be available with adult sizes listed at $190, while GS (3.5Y ? 7Y), PS (11c ? 3Y) and TD (2c ? 10c) will retail for $140, $80 and $60 respectively.

I?m biased towards the silhouette and even though it?s pretty basic, the colorway is a classic either way. I?m not really into it that much, but, I?ll still probably purchase since it?s a simple and clean offering.
More Images Of The Upcoming Air Jordan 6 Chameleon
By SoleInsider
Additional sneak previews of the forthcoming Air Jordan 6 Chameleon is featured, as the silhouette is suggested to make its official debut next year.
The basketball sneaker?s defining aesthetic is essentially found across its stealthy black leather upper which incorporates an iridescent finish and shifts in colors. Rumors also suggest that it can be rubbed off which was a prominent feature found on the Air Jordan 12 Wings. Additional details consists of 3M reflective accents, iridescent lace tips and a clear translucent outsole.
You can expect to find this pair at select Nike and JB stockists starting February 2017.
I like the iridescent upper and this blacked-out profile is a crowd pleaser. If the upper does rub off, it?ll be interesting what it reveals. Nonetheless, this should garner a lot of attention.
