Air Jordan 2 Alumni

Release Date: June 2017
Price: $190

Following a first look, new detailed imagery of the forthcoming Air Jordan 2 Alumni is featured, as it commemorates the classic North Carolina vs. UCLA Alumni Game at Pauley Pavilion on June 28, 1987.

Micheal Joran (along with other NBA stars such as James Worthy, Kenny Smith and Reggie Miller) played in that game, which took place after Jordan?s third year in the NBA. During that game, Michael Jordan decided to wear this special version of the Air Jordan 2 version which was known back then as the Air Jordan 2 UNC PE.

This 2017 version of the Air Jordan 2 Alumni will return in its OG colors of White, Varsity Red and Black. Giving it that UNC feel is the Carolina Blue noted on the heel tab of the shoe. Special detailing which was not on the PE version include the special branding on the heels that reads, ?MJ? and ?6/28/87? as a nod to the date the UNC vs. ULCA Alumni game was played.

The Latest Images Of The Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit

The Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit has been greeted with mixed reviews, to say the least. Some people have a “why fix something that’s not broken” mentality, while other are open to the modern change. I happen to fall on the latter group. I mean, why can’t we like both? No one’s making us choose, right? It’s perfectly okay to rock the OG Bred on Monday, and the Flyknit version on Tuesday. Today we get out latest look at the Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit in the recently previewed Bred colorway, as well as the brand new Royal colorway.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit is a modernized version of the Air Jordan 1 High. The usual leather upper is replaced by a Flyknit woven construction, which will inevetiably make the shoe lighter and more comfortable. Both options rock the same color scheme and color blocking as the leather Breds and Royals. The knit woven upper also comes with additional features such as the Swoosh and Jordan branding done in a sewed-on leather, and yes, Nike Air is on the tongue. A White midsole and Red (or Blue) outsole complete the look of the shoe. Said to be releasing during the month of September for $200, let us know what you think about the Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit? Are you willing to give it a try?
