Kawhi Leonard Shows Out In An All-Gold Air Jordan 1

One of the worst stories of the NBA this year has been the fact that Kawhi Leonard of the San Antonio Spur has been injured virtually the entire season and will continue to be sidelined indefinitely. Plain and simple, injuries suck! As a Jordan Brand athlete “The Klaw” has been blessed with some of the craziest PEs we’ve seen over the last few years and since he doesn’t show them off on social media they may go overlooked.

Last night Kawhi pulled out another impressive and eye-catching PE as he wore an Air Jordan 1 High that was covered in a shiny metallic gold all throughout the upper. The only contrast came on the Wings logo, laces, (and probably also the branding on the tongue that can’t be seen here) which were done in royal blue. Finishing off this Air Jordan 1 are a white midsole and translucent outsole.

What are your thoughts on Kawhi’s latest Air Jordan 1 PE? Are you a fan of the all gold upper?

Another Look At The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 6 Rings

Not to be overlooked by Air Jordan 1s dropping in the next couple of months, today we get another look at the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 6 Rings.

Rocking a color scheme that’s very similar to the Air Jordan 1 Black Toe, this version of the Air Jordan 1uses microsuede accents on the upper to help the colorway stand out just a bit. Although leather takes care of the White and Black portion of the shoe, a microsuede is used for the Red overlays noted on both the heel on Nike Swoosh. The shoe also comes with a Black tongue (instead of White like on the Black Toes), Nike Air on the tongue and Black Wings branding on the ankle collar. The left insole comes with a graphic that displays a set of Air Jordan playing cards said to represent MJ?s competitiveness while playing cards with his teammates, while the right insole comes with a set of cards with the number ?6? and trophy logos as a nod to Jordan?s ?6 Rings? earned. A White midsole and Red outsole complete the design of the shoe.

No word yet on when these will be dropping, but when they do we expect the retail price to be $160. Be sure to follow our Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG 6 Rings hub page where you will find the latest release info and images.

The Air Jordan 3 All-Star Dunk Series Pays Tribute To Jordans Free Throw Line Dunk

Air Jordan 3 30th Anniversary, All-Star Dunk Series, All-Star NRG. Whatever you want to call them, one thing appears to be for sure, they’re coming! Although the name of the shoe appears to be a bit all over the place for now, the tribute behind the shoe is not.

Done in a classic White Cement theme, this reinterpretation of the OG design switches it up a bit in order to pay tribute to the time Michael Jordan did his thing at the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest that was held in Chicago, Illinois. During this dunk contest, Jordan laced up his White Cement 3s and wowed the crowd by dunking the ball from the free-throw line.

The iconic picture of the free throw line dunk can be seen above. If you take a closer look at the image, you will see that the exact time that Jordan dunked the ball from the free-throw line was 3:51. As a nod to the exact moment Jordan flew from the free-throw line, this version of the Jordan 3 comes with inner back pull tabs that read, ?3:51.? Other notable features on the shoe include the new icy translucent outsoles and the beloved Nike Air branded on the heels.

Said to be releasing in very limited quantities, look for the Air Jordan 3 All-Star Dunk Series to release on February 14th (All-Star Weekend).

The Air Jordan 3 All-Star is said to be part of the ?Dunk Series,? which will also include the upcoming Air Jordan 3 Black Cement.

Be sure to bookmark our Air Jordan 3 All-Star Dunk Series (White Cement 30th Anniversary) hub page where you will find the shoe?s latest release info and images.

Sidenote: The Air Jordan 3 All-Star is said to be part of the ?Dunk Series,? which will also include the upcoming Air Jordan 3 Black Cement.
