Jordan Brand has officially unveiled the return of the Air Jordan 3 White Cement to celebrate the 30-year-anniversary of that iconic moment when Michael Jordan pushed the limits of gravity when he launched from the free throw line during the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest. The shoe comes in that very same OG color scheme with White, Fire Red, Cement Grey and Black hues with the addition of a translucent sole that features a red stripe to represent the exact place where MJ took flight. Other distinct markings are ?3:51? on the back pull tabs as a nod to the time MJ took flight and ?147? on the tongue to reflect MJ?s total score in the final round of the Dunk contest and the insoles equipped with an outsole graphic.

Jordan Brand will be releasing this GS-exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 10 during the month of February. Dubbed the Air Jordan 10 GS Fuchsia Blast, this new colorway of the Jordan 10 opts for a predominantly Black upper done in a leather and nubuck construction. Even more Black is spotted on the lining, tongue branding, laces and outsole. Adding some pop and contrast to the shoe is the Fuchsia accents placed on the Jumpman on the insoles and outsole and more noticeably, the gradient midsole that fades from Fuchsia to Black.

As if you weren’t already hyped enough, Germany retailers BSTN has provided us with an on-feet look at the upcoming Air Jordan 3 White Cement NRG aka the Air Jordan 3 Free Throw Line.

Set to drop next week, this special version of the Air Jordan 3 celebrates the 30th anniversary of the model while simultaneously paying homage the the 30th anniversary of Michael Jordan?s free throw line dunk that took place during the 1988 NBA Slam Dunk contest. From afar, this looks the be a White Cement 3 with Nike Air on the heel. It’s only when you take a closer look at the shoe that you will find small details that provides the shoe with brand new look and vibe.

Done in a White Cement color scheme consisting of White, Fire Red, Cement Grey and Black hues, this iteration of the White Cement 3 differentiates from the OG pair by coming equipped with a translucent sole that features a red stripe to represent the exact place where MJ took flight (from the free throw line). Other distinct markings include the ?3:51? on the back pull tabs as a nod to the time MJ took flight, the ?147? on the tongue to reflect MJ?s total score in the final round of the Dunk contest and the insoles equipped with an outsole graphic.

It this ends up being true, Jordan Brand is playing no games in 2018!

Way back in August of last year, Jordan Brand gave us a first look at the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Homage To Home you see above. Initially believed to be a sample, it’s now being rumored that Jordan Brand may end up releasing this pair as early as March/April!

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Homage To Home combines two of the most iconic colorways of the Air Jordan 1: Chicago and Banned/Bred. The design of the shoe splits the classic color schemes right down the middle with the Chicago theme placed on the medial side and the Banned theme noted on the lateral side. A split-colored Nike Air is placed on the tongue, while a White midsole and Red outsole complete the look of the shoe.

Sneaker leaker py_rates broke the news minutes ago stating that the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Homage To Home could end up releasing either in April of May for the retail price of $190.

No word on how limited, exclusive or who/how they will be releasing, but as soon as more info is provided, we will be sure to let you know.

The 25th anniversary of the Air Jordan 9 is next year and a preview of how Jordan Brand will celebrate the shoe is shown with this DMP-styled edition of the sneaker coming in a colorway of black, summit white and metallic gold. The release is going to coincide with the NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, California in 2018. Sporting a classic and premium style, the basketball shoe is made of black suede with white tumbled leather overlays. Metallic gold is seen on the tongue and heel through branding. Finishing touches consist of a Los Angeles map-inspired graphic insole and milky translucent outsole.

As you already know by now, Justin Timberlake wore a special Air Jordan 3 last night during his performance during halftime of the Super Bowl that Jordan Brand dubbed the Air Jordan 3 “JTH”. It turns out that this was a special collaboration between Justin Timberlake and the legendary Tinker Hatfield. While designing the shoe, JB caught up with JT to ask him a few questions on what the Jordan Brand and the collaboration mean to him.

You?ve created with Jordan before (Legends of the Summer). Why did now make sense for the next chapter?

“A couple of reasons come to mind,” says Timberlake. “First and foremost, I grew up idolizing Mike, and ever since we met, he and I have always had a great relationship. Working together with his team to make shoes that we love was always something we wanted to do. So when we had success with the ‘Legends’, we knew we would have to find another great moment to do that again. This album, and really this specific performance, felt like the right, and even bigger and better, moment to collaborate. Even more importantly, now that I have a son, I really want to make things that can be handed down to him and timeless, so that they remain relevant for three, four generations. I think the Jordan brand’s work and track record has spoken for itself in being able to do that for the sneaker culture.”

Why is the Jordan Brand special to you?

“Mike is one of the few athletes, and now one of the few brands, that has been able to span across multiple generations. ?Be Like Mike? isn’t just a slogan, but a real state of mind that epitomizes and revolves around the greatest athlete to ever do it,” says Justin. What?s your favorite Jordan moment featuring Jordan Brand shoes or MJ himself? “Wow, I mean, there are a ton that are beautiful in just their architecture and form, but I’ve always found myself coming back to the 3’s, mostly because you could really wear them with anything. Then, when I got to actually meet Tinker, a true genius, and learn that the Jordan 3 was the first design he had done with the brand, and that he actually removed the swoosh from the original design because he felt like Michael could carry the brand on his own, it made it feel even more iconic. Not to mention, we all got to watch him dunk from the free throw line in that shoe.”

What makes the Air Jordan III “Tinker” special?

“Being a sneakerhead and wanting to know the history behind why the different air Jordans were designed the way they were and then getting to see the original design that Tinker sketched up while also knowing his history with the Air Max, it really feels like a hybrid of of those classic models. It?s like if Ferrari made a hybrid between an F430 and 612 Scaglietti. By the way…Ferrari, if you?re reading this, you should totally do that.”

The first pair was inspired from Timberlake?s recently released ?Man of the Woods? album. The release made a surprise debut last night. It came dressed in a White Cement color scheme accompanied by a reflective Nike Swoosh on the side panels to add extra flare to Timberlake?s stage presence under the bright lights on Sunday night’s Super Bowl halftime show.
