Introducing Giannis Antetokounmpos Nike Zoom Freak 3

Nike officially introduces Giannis Antetokounmpo?s Nike Zoom Freak 3. Slated to be the two-time MVP’s third signature sneaker with the Swoosh, the Nike Zoom Freak 3 (much like the first two Zoom Freak models)  was designed to support Giannis? unique style of play ? paint game.

The Zoom Freak 3 is built for creating space.  The tech used on the sneaker is specifically designed to support Giannis? dynamic and downhill style of play as he glides towards the basket around defenders using his signature Euro step.  The two Zoom Air units under the ball of the foot help absorb energy and provide responsiveness, while the uniquely designed upper and strap help keep Giannis? foot and center of gravity contained.

?One of the hallmarks of his athleticism is transferring energy quickly from leg to leg to maneuver his body through gaps,? said Ross Klein, Nike?s Senior Creative Director for Men?s Performance Footwear. ?Giannis works his foot like a gas and brake. He also works all different angles of his foot as he?s driving to the basket, so we wanted to contour the design to fit the way he transitions from step to step.?

Giannis will not be Nike Zoom Freak 3 on court tonight (he?ll still be wearing the Zoom Freak 2 footwear) vs. the Hawks, but you can definitely expect the two colorways you see on here to release globally July 1 and in North America in August.
