The Nike Mac Attack is a classic Nike tennis shoe that was originally made for John McEnroe. Originally released in 1984, this straight from the Nike archives sneaker is rumored to make a retro return for the first time ever next year.
Although the Nike Mac Attack has not gotten a retro since its initial debut, it has been spotted on the feet of LeBron James and Travis Scott back in 2021. The upcoming retro (1984 Mac Attack below) is said to be done in the model’s OG Light Silver and Black color scheme. Keeping things OG as can be, the sneaker dons a mesh and leather construction alongside nylon tongues and checkered tongue labels housing Red Nike Air branding.
Although nothing has been made official by Nike, current reports have the Nike Mac Attack OG making a return during Summer 2023 at select retailers and Nike.com for the retail price of $120.
