Nike brought back the OG colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 Low West Indies last year. For 2023, Nike will be dropping an alternate colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 Low West Indies.

The original Nike Air Force 1 Low West Indies made its debut during the early 2000s. The original Nike Air Force 1 Low West Indies was one of four different colorways released from 2002 to 2005 that celebrated the West Indian Day Parade Carnival that is held annually on the first Monday of September in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

This alternate colorway of the Nike Air Force 1 Low West Indies is highlighted by the Yellow contrasting accents throughout the White leather upper. Other details include the White mesh tongues and lining decorated with the West Indies branding on the tongue tags, lace dubraes, and embroidered lateral heel in the Caribbean colors. Graphic insoles that list all the small islands of the Caribbean complete the look.

UPDATE (8/23): Detailed look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low “West Indies” in the White/University Gold colorway courtesy of Sneaker Politics. A release will take place via SNKRS and select retailers on August 25th for $140.

UPDATE (8/11): The Nike Air Force 1 Low “West Indies” in the White/University Gold colorway will be releasing via SNKRS and select retailers on August 25th for $140.

At first glance this looks like a collaborative colorway of the Nike SB Dunk Low due to the rich colors and materials but it’s actually not. Dubbed the Nike SB Dunk Low “Mystic Red”, this SB comes doused in an official color makeup of Mystic Red, Emerald Rise, Rugged Orange, and Rosewood as the sneaker gets blanketed in a vibrant hairy red suede construction all over the upper with tonal detailing on the laces, tongues, inner liner, and heel tabs. For contrast we have the addition of Emerald Rise on the Swooshes, as well as the Nike branding on the tongues, insoles, and heel tabs. Down below we have a dark purple/burgundy rubber sole unit with speckle detailing to finish off the look on this Nike SB Dunk Low that will be releasing soon for $110. Here?s your reminder that the Union X BBS X Air Jordan 1 High OG Summer Of 96 releases this weekend.

Back in 2004 HUF and Nike teamed up to drop the HUF x Nike Air Max 1 collaboration. For 2024, its is now being reported that the HUF x Nike Air Max 1 will be making a comeback to celebrate the collab’s 20th anniversary.

Although the 2024 version has yet to be unveiled, the 20th anniversary version is expected to look just like the 20024 pair. Design details include a leather and nubuck construction covered in different shades of Grey. Other details include the Lively Lime Green accents on areas such as the Swooshes, sockliner, TPU eyelets, tongue tags, lace lining, and heel branding. A Grey midsole with Green Max Air heel completes the look.

With all that being said, aside from the GR pair that dropped back in 2004, there was also a hyperstrike version of the collaboration, which you can see below. Similar in design, this pair was given perforated panels on the toe box and collar as well as the San Francisco skyline embroidered on the heel.

The HUF x Nike Air Max 1 20th Anniversary has not been confirmed by Nike yet, but current rumblings suggest we see these drop sometime next year. Stay tuned.

Drake?s NOCTA and Nike will once again be teaming up for another footwear collaboration. Slated to drop at the end of the year, here is a first look at the NOCTA x Nike Air Zoom Drive in the all-new Black and White colorway.

The Nike Air Zoom Drive made its initial debut. This model was part of Nike’s Alpha Project. Nike Alpha Project’s philosophy was simple: identify and solve product performance problems for and with the athlete. Other notable models that came out of the Nike Alpha Project include the Nike Air Flightposite, Air Kukini, Shox BB4, and Air Presto.

This colorway of the NOCTA x Nike Air Zoom Drive comes dressed in a Black and White color scheme consisting of a Black upper constructed out of a mix of ballistic mesh and ripstop nylon alongside leather overlays. Design detail include the perforations on the sides and White accents that take care of the laces, TPU overlays, and NOCTA branding on the tongue, heel, and underfoot. Other details include the Black heels housing NOCTA?s trident logo and a solid Black rubber sole equipped with visible Zoom Air unit in the heel.

2023 will deliver another Halloween-themed Nike Air Force 1 Low release. Slated to drop in October, here is a first look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low Halloween 2023.

Previewed below, the 2023 iteration of the Nike Air Force 1 Low Halloween comes dressed in an all-Black upper that is constructed out of a mix of tumbled leather on the underlays and quarter panels with snakeskin details. More of the same faux reptile texture can be found on the eyestay, toe, heel, and Swoosh overlays. The all-Black aesthetic is then met with Orange Nike branding on the tongue tags, Metallic Silver jack-o-lantern lace dubraes and custom insoles portraying a dark eerie forest with Swoosh-carved pumpkins. A Black midsole and Neon Green semi-translucent outsole round out the main features of the sneaker.

Retailing for $145, current reports suggest we see the Nike Air Force 1 Low Halloween 2023 debuting sometime during the month of October at select retailers and Nike SNKRS. A clean new colorway of the fan-favorite Nike Air Max 1 has surfaced. Dropping this upcoming Fall season, here is a first look at the Nike Air Max 1 University Blue.

Done in an official color scheme listed as White/University Blue-Photon Dust-Black, this iteration of the Nike Air Max 1 features a White mesh base that is then paired up with the contrasting University Blue hits spotted on the suede mudguards and Swooshes. More University Blue hits take care of the  tongue branding, lining, and visible Air Max heel unit. Finishing details include the Grey suede overlays on the vamp, midfoot, and heels, all while being placed atop a White midsole and a Black rubber outsole.

Details include a Hemp leather base and mesh tongues that is then contrasted by the Sail leather overlays atop a Grind Rubber sole. The fall season will bring us now colorways of the Nike Cosmic Unity 3 with one of them being this “Melon Tint” offering showcased below. Done in an official color makeup of Melon Tint, Coconut Milk, and Medium Brown, the Nike Basketball model continues Nike?s Move to Zero campaign made with at least 20% recycled content by weight as the high top comes equipped with a mix of lightweight materials throughout the upper with embroidery detailing serving as the highlight. This pair gets covered in various shades of orange all throughout the upper along with Sail accents on the upper as well as Medium Brown rubber outsoles. Finishing details include multiple Swoosh branding all over the upper, “Cosmic” “Unity” written on the heels along with Nike’s pinwheel logo, and a Crater sole that has been infused with a full-length Zoom Strobel. For 2023, Nike will once again be celebrating Latino Heritage Month, which spans from September 15th all the way through October 15th. To celebrate the month-long observance, Nike will be dropping the Nike Air Max 1 Familia that you see below.

Paying tribute to Latino Heritage Month, this detailed iteration of the Air Max 1 also celebrates Día de Muertos, a holiday that takes place in early November that pays tribute to lost loved ones. The Día de Muertos holiday is mainly linked to Mexico, but there are also other Spanish-speaking countries that take part in the holiday. During this holiday living family members set up ofrendas (altars) in homes to welcome the souls of the dead. In these ofrendas you typically find items that will identify the person to whom it is dedicated along with staples of the celebration such as pan de muerto, candles, flowers and even papel picado decorations. With all that being said, it appears as if this Nike Air Max 1 gets its inspiration from said ofrendas.

Packed with color and intricate details, the Nike Air Max 1 Familia combine a Pink hue with Yellow along with Green and Orange accents to bring some vibrancy into the subtle sand-colored base. Opting for unique craftsmanship, some of the design details include the papel picado decorations inspiration that is evident on the tip of the toe box, while the concha (pan dulce) aesthetic adorns the Pink Swoosh branding on the side panels. The Nike Air Footscape Woven made its debut in 2000. Its one of a kind design attempts to blend unique style with exceptional comfort. This “Fir” iteration of the Nike Air Footscape Woven features a Green faux fur upper that is the contrasted by the Black spotted on the asymmetrical lacing and woven stripe. The Nike Calm Slide was first unveiled earlier this year. Yet to release, we now have another colorway of the slide to share with you. Said to be a women’s exclusive colorway, here is a first look at the Nike Calm Slide Rugged Orange.

The Nike Clam Slide is highlighted by its one-piece foam construction paired with a standard strap design on the midfoot. Below you will find a thick foam cushioned sole. Opting for a minimalist design, the only visible branding comes by way of the debossed Swoosh logo on the lateral side of the strap and underfoot. That’s pretty much it, so if its simple you are looking for, these are a solid option.

Nike uses the Yin and Yang theme for this offering of the popular Nike Cortez which takes on a two-tone look. Constructed out of a full leather build throughout the upper, this women’s colorway of the Nike Cortez takes on a split white and black makeup all over the upper with white hitting the lateral sides and black placed on the medial. Adding to the unique look of this Cortez is a removable zippered tongue shroud also done in white and black.
