Nike Kyrie 2 Cavs Releases Before The NBA Finals

Nike’s confident the Cavaliers will be back in the NBA Finals this season as the brand plans on releasing a Nike Kyrie 2 “Cavs” colorway right before the championship series begins on May 26th. Kyrie was hobbled by injuries all post-season long in 2015 and missed the remainder of the NBA Finals after a solid Game 1 performance ended in overtime with a knee injury. This year Irving and the Cavs are looking for redemption and will be aided by this sleek Midnight Navy/University Gold Kyrie 2 colorway. Aimed to match Cleveland’s alternate road uniforms, this Nike Kyrie 2 skips out on any graphics usually found on the kid-friendly upper for a simple navy finish while a vibrant yellow midsole stands out. Be sure to look at a brief preview below and know that you can grab this pair on May 26th for $120 USD or right now on eBay.

Nike To Release Air Maxes With Unique Heel Graphics

Remember that Nike Air Flight ’89 with the giant “89” on the heels? it looks like the same concept is back again on a couple of classic Air Max runners, the Air Max 1 and BW. Just like the Air Flight ’89 release from last year, both the Air Max 1 and Air Classic BW receive white uppers with can’t-miss large black text on the heels. The Air Max 1 features “8” on the left heel and “7” on the right, representing 1987, the year the shoe was originally released, while the BW’s simply get “B” and “W” on their heels. No word yet on a release date for either model, but expect both to be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers later this year.

Author’s Take

This is one of my favorite bball silhouettes aside from Jordans. I’m a fan of the colorway, but it’s too bright for my taste. I’m sure these will garner a lot of attention — on purpose or not.

Nike Is Bringing Back Michigan And UNLV Dunk High Retros

It makes sense that legendary designer Peter Moore originally wanted to call the Nike Dunk the Nike College Color High. After all, the silhouette was a college institution and could be found on the feet of nearly every major Division 1 NCAA program throughout the mid to late 80s. The “Be True To Your School” theme landed on major Nike-affiliated schools and now some of the original Nike Dunk College Basketball Pack retros will be returning for the month of May. March Madness may be in the books, but that doesn’t mean that the Swoosh can’t bring back memories of once-dominant programs like UNLV and Michigan to fruition during the off-season. The two College Pack outliers will arrive on May 14th at select retailers. Be sure to head to our release dates page for more info.

Another Look At The Nike Kyrie 2 Cavs

NIKE KYRIE 2 1 NIKE KYRIE 2 2 NIKE KYRIE 2 3 NIKE KYRIE 2 4 NIKE KYRIE 2 5 NIKE KYRIE 2 6 NIKE KYRIE 2 7

Back in late March, the Nike Kyrie 2 Cavs, the very same shoe you see up top was released exclusively at Jimmy Jazz. I was a bit curious as to why Nike decided to release the shoe with no type of heads up, warning any type of first looks of the shoe. All of a sudden it just appeared on Jimmy Jazz for purchase. We now got word that Nike is going to give the shoe a much wider release and it’s set to drop next month.

This Cavs version of the Kyrie 2 is inspired by the Cleveland Cavaliers team colors. The shoe is composed out of a Midnight Navy upper that cover the majority of the base. The tonal look of the upper is contrasted by the University Gold placed on the sole unit of the shoe. Additional Midnight Navy can be seen on the Nike Swoosh on the midsole, while the Nike Swoosh branding on the strap and Kyrie branding on the tongue comes in University Gold. Just a pinch of University Red can be spotted on the Kyrie #2 placed on the heel of the shoe. In need of a pair? The Cavs version of the Nike Kyrie 2 will release on May 26th for the retail price of $120.

Navy and gold colored sneakers, I like that. The Kyrie 2 is a pretty dope silhouette, seeing it come in this color scheme really makes it shine.

The Latest Look On The Nike Flyknit Racer Multicolor 2016

NIKE FLYKNIT RACER 1 NIKE FLYKNIT RACER 2 NIKE FLYKNIT RACER 3 NIKE FLYKNIT RACER 4 NIKE FLYKNIT RACER 5 NIKE FLYKNIT RACER 6 NIKE FLYKNIT RACER 7 NIKE FLYKNIT RACER 8 NIKE FLYKNIT RACER 9

If you haven’t heard by now, Nike is releasing yet another version of the Nike Flyknit Racer Multicolor. So what makes this pair different from the first two pairs that dropped? While the changes are minimal, they still are changes. Also, being that there are plenty of people who struck out on the first two versions, I’m sure you won’t hear many complaints about a similar colorway dropping, again.

The Nike Flyknit Racer Multicolor 2016 has one main change that gives it its own look. If you take a close look at the shoe you will notice that that tongue does not come in black, like we’re used to seeing it come in. This time around Nike gives the shoe a Grey tongue. Aside from that, the shoes appears to remain the same, which is definitely not a bad thing in many people’s eyes. Said to be dropping on May 13th for $150, are you looking to pick up a pair? Let us know down in the comments below.

I’ve struck out on the first two versions. Hopefully the sneaker gods are on my side this time around and I’m able to pick up a pair.
